Review: Since emerging in the middle of the last decade, Headie One (real name Irving Adjei) has become one of UK Drill's most reliable and namechecked artists. Even so, his releases have been relatively limited of late, with singles and collaborative mixtapes being favoured over full-length excursions. The Last One, his long-awaited follow up to 2020 studio debut Edna, is a predictably confident and distinctive affair, with Adjei delivering his distinctive North London raps over bold and weighty basslines, hybrid drill/grime beats and some genuinely attractive musical flourishes.
