Sonicware LIVEN Evoke Acoustronic Synthesiser With Granular Effect Sonicware LIVEN Evoke Acoustronic Synthesiser With Granular Effect
Cat: 1096456 Rel: 04 Jul 25

Evoke is an ambient music box featuring a drumless ensemble of four synthesized acoustic instruments, ideal for cinematic ambient and post-classical music.
Notes: Evoke is an ambient music box featuring a drumless ensemble of four synthesized acoustic instruments, ideal for cinematic ambient and post-classical music. Easily layer sounds using Direct Note Input, Note Hold, and One-Finger Chord mode - then apply the granular effect to explore soothing and immersive sonorities.

Evoke features the new synth engine Acoustronic Flux Oscillator, which generates an evolving sound where acoustic and electronic elements resonate and seamlessly blend together. By synthesizing INST, which captures the delicate sonic transitions of acoustic instruments, with WAVE, which adds harmonic and textural variation, Evoke delivers its own distinctive acoustronic sound.

The INST features 34 acoustic instruments, each containing a set of 256 Acoustic Characteristic Arrays, and applies BACKTIDE modulation to reverse their evolution like an ebbing tide and add an unduluating motion.

The WAVE offers 20 waveforms, each constructed from 128 harmonic tables, enabling rich harmonic movement and pitch control across +/- 2-octave range, enabling rich harmonic movement and pitch control across a +/- 2-octave range. Additionally, 2 types of filtered white noise generator are available for selection. By interweaving INST and WAVE, Evoke delivers a wide spectrum of sounds - from nostalgic pianos and drone strings to bizarre vibraphones.

Evoke is equipped with a dedicated granular effect, Grain FX, that slices your phrases into micro-grains and transforms and reconstructs them in a variety of ways - manipulating grain shape, time warp, spatial position, and playback method - to create entirely new sounds.

Grain pitch can be harmonized in octaves, perfect fifths, and various musical scales, while buffer sizes from 8th notes to a full bar sync to your pattern's tempo - together delivering a musical granular effect. Grain FX send levels can be set on each track, and the effect can also be applied to the stereo signals from the line input.

16 preset patches let you dial in musical granular effects with just 2 Grain FX knobs.

Evoke offers 10 diverse reverb types - including the veiled ambience 'Mirage' - whose deep reverberations transport you in a world of reminiscence. You can adjust send levels per tracks as well as Grain FX sends. Combine the reverb with Grain FX to create various spatial effects such as shimmer reverb.

Evoke provides LIVEN's signature 4 track sequencer - known for recording both your performances and any changes in sound parameters - allowng to create a wide variety of compositions.

Your Personal Soundscape:

Conversations between Oscillating Tones and Your Mind

Immersive Ambient Generator

4 layers of tone and texture-Drone, Pad, Atmos, and Noise-merge to generate deep resonance and continuous transformation.

Ambient O (zero) is incredibly easy to use. Start by playing a tone from one layer using the note hold function. While listening closely, simply tweak the knobs to modify the tone and add other layers to shape a pleasing sound.

Blendwave Modulation Synthesis

Sonicware conducted extensive research into creating undulating and fluctuating tones for Ambient O, resulting in the development of a new wavetable-based synthesis.

Blendwave Modulation Synthesis combines 6 unique structures with 32 WAVEs featuring complex harmonic transitions, making it easy to create powerful low drones, lush pads, and transparent pizzicatos, perfect for Ambient Music.

4 knobs/8 parameters offer a wide range of tone creation.

A WAVE contains 128 harmonic tables, allowing for diverse tonal changes such as moving from basic waveforms to complex harmonics. The WAVE is represented by a yin-yang icon, with the yin representing moves in the reverse direction through the tables during modulation.

6 Structures - Each structure has a different number of oscillators and modulation circuits. ATMOS 1 applies ring modulation, while ATMOS 2 applies FM modulation.

Noise and Space

The Noise layer includes 8 specially selected nature sounds, offering noise blending, pitch adjustment and modulation to infuse unique spatial characteristics.

Additionally, it allows for up to 8 seconds of stereo sampling from the line input, letting you create personalized textures.

Extensive Effects Section

Ambient O is equipped with 9 types of lush reverb, each offering unique spatial dimensions and brightness settings. You can individually adjust the reverb send and shimmer send (for layering octaves) for each layer.

In addition to the reverb, the Ambient O offers an effect unit with Tape Delay, Reverse Delay, and 4 master effects; Overdrive, Bit/Rate Crush, Tilt EQ, and Stereo Chorus.

Update of the clasisc MiniFreak 6 voice synthesiser, featuring a 16-band vocoder, 30+ oscillator modes, stereo FX and more.
Notes: MiniFreak Vocoder drops Arturia's fearless hybrid synth into a new vocal dimension. It keeps the 6- voice architecture, dual digital engines and analog filter of the original, then adds a detachable gooseneck microphone and a 16-band vocoder engine with multiple FX options. Talkbox growls, android choirs or spectral pads, twist them further with the sequencer, modulation matrix and triple slot effects for instant, mix-ready insanity.

Hook up the detachable mic or any external source, channel it through a classic 16-band speech synthesis engine. Blend the processed voice with MiniFreak's oscillators, freeze formants for metallic drones, or drive talk-box growls through the on-board effects slots.

MiniFreak's twin digital sound engines feature over 30 modes, and can be used individually, stacked, or to process each other's output for unique compound sonic behavior. Its 6 digital voices then collide with polyphonic analog filters, balancing digital crispness with a rich analog response.

MiniFreak's expanded modulation matrix gives users even more control over shaping, transforming, and evolving their sound, with features like polyphonic ADSR envelopes, customizable multi-segment LFO shapes, FM & Ring Modulation, and the familiar Spice & Dice randomization.

With stereo outputs and 3 digital FX slots with over 10 FX types to choose from, users will have everything they need to push their sound over the edge while keeping it mix-ready, from stereo-enhancing chorus, to surgical 3-band EQ, to gritty distortion.

Despite its penchant for wild & exploratory sound design, MiniFreak is an instrument of expression. Its velocity-sensitive 37-note keybed with aftertouch and spontaneous Seq/Arp functionality makes it a dream to perform with, while its randomization features put playfulness first.

MiniFreak comes with a dedicated VST counterpart, letting users totally integrate its unique hybrid sound and presets into their DAW productions and vice versa. Using identical sound engines and architecture, it offers a mirrored virtual experience of the synth itself, at no extra cost.

MSF Drop Semi-Modular Analogue Synthesiser & Groovebox (analogue desktop synthesiser/groovebox)
Cat: 1093384 Rel: 20 Jun 25

Analogue Synth and Groovebox geared towards live performance and recording.
Notes: You cannot describe exactly what it is; you can make any kind of music using The DROP, from roots pre-sequences techno to ambient landscapes, from 8-bit craze to pop-style dancy-fancies. And you'll play it live! The DROP is designed to be played, like any other musical instrument.

A self-contained analog groovebox, that uses LFO as a clock generator with divider - no programming needed to get highly complex absolutely crazy neverending and never repeating (analog!) rhythmic galore and fractal textures. Otherwise, it can be triggered manually with a pad, or via external trigger; so it works like a highly sophisticated drum module.

Six unique analog noise osclilators, classic BD generator with old-style analog VCA, sub-octave oscillator with an extra click; all patched (or repatched) to two wide-range LFOs or anything external - via bananas - for neverending rhytmic galore, and then soaked in a specially designed analog saturation. Full, bold, vivid and textured, rich analog sound; because of a highly ingenious, odd and peculiar circuits. Think NOS, discrete, germanium and unobtanium.

Thanks to a fully analogue design The DROP can play the same sequence for hours without being annoying. A vast field for experimentation thanks to a modular design with all its inputs and outputs. You'll lose yourself in a black hole of sounds repatching it even without any external modules. Banana sockets used in The DROP are compatible with any external synths and modules; eurorack or buchla or analog sync; no problem. You can even use bare cable without jacks to patch bananas. What about playing The DROP with jacks touching banana sockets? Did you know that your bare fingers are good for patching it too? Go bananas!

Drop is bringing back the real, instant joy and fun of playing electronic instruments live, for music beyond grids, borders, and programming, that makes an art happen as a reward.

Mad Sound Factory DROP offers a wide range of sounds including kicks, basses, hi-hats, and weird noises. With features such as tone generator, mixer section, noise generator, and two LFOs, The DROP allows for creative patching and modulation possibilities. The instrument also offers a unique DROP button that can trigger sounds and add a fun element to performance. It can be controlled through analog clock signals or MIDI sync. Designed for both live performances and studio use, this instrument offers a wide range of sonic possibilities for musicians looking to experiment with rhythm and sound design. The DROP is pretty compact - it easily fits in a backpack or ordinary shopper or whatever you use to drop your swimsuit to. It can be powered via USB-C from any power bank, phone charger or a laptop, pocket nuclear reactor or even a solar battery, if your star is close enough and you have enough sunny days to play with it. Modern world demands and requirements.

Analogue Solutions Ample Analogue Patch Pin Matrix Synthesiser (B-STOCK) Analogue Solutions Ample Analogue Patch Pin Matrix Synthesiser (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1093593 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.***

Like a greatest hits of recent Analogue Solutions synths, the Ample combines sound elements from the Fusebox with jack patch points, a patch pin matrix, plus sequencer and CV touch pads from the Generator, creating something new and unique.

Supplier's Notes:
Ample combines the best elements of several of Analogue Solutions' recent products.

The sound elements of Fusebox
Jack patch points of Concussor Eurorack
Patch pin matrix of Vostok
Echo from Dr Strangelove
Sequencer and CV touch pads of Generator

It shares all this yet still has its own sound!

Ample can be as complex or as simple as you want it to be

This synth has been given a large and diverse number of controls, that along side the patch sockets, will give even the best and experienced synthesist endless possibilities.

This synth presents the controls in a user friendly and familiar synth layout that, together with this manual and other resources, enable even the new guy to get great sounds.

Synth - Percussion - Audio Processor

Ample is a compact analogue synthesizer. Analogue - as in really analogue. Aside from the MIDI chip (which has to be digital), everything else is totally analogue using real transistors and op-amps. There are no CPU stabilised and quantised circuits, no DCOs, no digital LFOs and no digital EGs, as found on other so called analogue synths. The circuitry is based on designs dating back to the mid-1970s. So Ample has a genuine old sound.

Circuits included

3x Analogue Oscillators

There are three analogue VCOs - each providing a wealth of features and modulation choices. VCO3 can easily be utilised as a LFO.

2x Analogue Low Frequency Oscillator

LFO2(/Sync) has a triangle wave output. VCO3 can be used as an LFO and has Saw, Triangle and Square wave modulation signals.

Analogue Filter

Ample uses a four pole 24bB per octave low pass filter.

Analogue Amplifier

The VCA can be set to THRU so it is always 'open'. This allows Ample to be used as an effects processor.

2x Analogue Envelopes

There are two EGs - each having full control over ATTACK, DECAY, SUSTAIN, and RELEASE.

Modulation

Great thought has been placed into modulation route choices, allowing a wide range of sounds to be produced, including percussion and 'modular' sounds further extended by patching with the jack sockets and pin matrix.

MIDI

MIDI is intentionally kept simple - so you can concentrate on making new sounds and making music - not getting tied up with SYSEX programming.

You get the all important control over filter cut-off using MIDI Velocity.

Patchable External CV Control Sockets

Ample has many input and output audio and CV sockets - to allow the synth to be effectively re-wired to make new sounds.

The sockets also enable it to be easily used with Eurorack and other modular systems. They can be patched together.

Sequencer

Ample has a vintage style 16 step sequencer.

Touch Keys

There are 6 touch keys that each output a set voltage. Use this to play the pitch or as modulation signals. A great tool for inspiration!

Pin Matrix

A neat way to patch the synth.

Echo

Nice lo-fi echo / delay.

Clank Uranograph u-Tonal Multi-Expressive Instrument Clank Uranograph u-Tonal Multi-Expressive Instrument Clank Uranograph u-Tonal Multi-Expressive Instrument
Cat: 1092100

A unique synthesiser featuring dual keyboards and microtonal functionality, combining the expressive depth of classical instruments with the limitless possibilites of synthesis.
Notes: Uranograph is a musical instrument that merges the expressive depth of classical instruments with the limitless possibilities of synthesis. Its capacitive tactile keys, instant note articulation, and MPE-inspired keyboard encourage musicians to develop a deep connection with its behavior, refine its technique, and master its nuances. With its ability to effortlessly reproduce microtonal notes, Uranograph is well-suited for exploring diverse musical expressions and cultural scale. Designed as a self-contained sonic ecosystem, Uranograph integrates an extensive 5 voices synthesis core, FX processing (both for internal and external sources), and looping into a seamless creative tool.

Uranograph's dual keyboards layout is more than just an input devices - it's the expressive heart of the instrument, offering an intuitive yet deeply responsive interface for performance and sound exploration. Their stainless steel touch plates provide an ultra-sensitive playing experience, responding to the most delicate gestures with precision and nuance. Unlike conventional mechanical keybeds, Uranograph's capacitive surface allows immediate, fluid articulation, enabling new microtonal performance, dynamic phrasing, and real-time sound shaping possibilities.

Uranograph's keyboard is highly responsive to touch, velocity, and aftertouch pressure. Each press translates into a continuous, organic sound variation, making it possible to shape phrases naturally, much like on stringed or wind instruments.By default, pressure is routed to the instrument's VCA/filter, and the envelope sustains level volume. An additional routing can be set to send the intensity of pressure to whatever other parameters you prefer, a dedicated knob is also implemented for instant control of the amount of this. This continuous pressure-sensitive surface offers a playing experience closer to acoustic instruments, bridging the gap between electronic synthesis and natural musical expression.

Uranograph notes output takes advantage of a series of prepared Keyboard, where each key can be easily assigned to any pitch or pure frequency, offering complete keyboard design and tuning flexibility. Whether adhering to traditional Western tuning, exploring Arabic maqams, Indian ragas, Just Intonation, or experimental microtonal divisions, Uranograph provides an expansive range of tonal possibilities. Preloaded with 50+ keyboard layouts Customizable keyboards allow users to design and store personalized layouts. Instant recall ensures seamless transitions between different tonal systems. This adaptability makes Uranograph an ideal instrument for non-standard tuning, enabling deep engagement with diverse musical traditions and avant-garde soundscapes.

Beyond pitch control, Uranograph features a dedicated control keyboard designed for dynamic, hands-on sound transformation. Unlike traditional mod wheels or faders, this touch-based control surface enables intuitive, real-time interaction with synthesis parameters, allowing for expressive, gestural modulation.
The control keyboard is divided into three functional sections: Articulation, Octave Shift, and ModKeys.

Three dedicated articulation plates provide instant access to advanced phrasing techniques and canonic musical articulations found in stringed instruments: glissando, trillo, and staccato:

Glissando: Enables smooth pitch slides between notes

Staccato: Shortens note duration, creating a percussive attack

Trillo: Rapidly alternates between notes

Each articulation can be activated momentarily (by holding the plate) or latched (by tapping once), offering precise control over phrasing. This flexibility allows musicians to engage articulations selectively, shaping expression dynamically within a phrase. They can introduce variation within a note and the successive one or as a general character of the part.
Three faders are implemented on the panel to quickly change the articulation's behaviors.

Four ModKeys serve as fully assignable, pressure-sensitive controllers for precise real-time modulation of synthesis parameters. Each plate dynamically responds to pressure, enabling simultaneous control over multiple parameters. By integrating expressive modulation gestures with the performance keyboard, players can shape fluid, evolving textures that respond organically to touch - enhancing expressivity and immediacy in synthesis. ModKey destinations and maximum values can be adjusted in the menu and stored during pattern changes.

At the bottom, two integrated octave shift plates provide instant transposition, allowing players to increase or decrease the octave range in momentary or latching modes:

Momentary Mode: Holding a plate temporarily shifts the octave.

Latching Mode: Tapping once locks the new octave until changed.

Bend Mode: Pressing both octave plates simultaneously activates the pitch bend feature, allowing for fluid and expressive pitch manipulation, similar to bending notes on stringed instruments.

Uranograph's core is built on additive and phase morphing synthesis, offering an innovative approach to shaping its five oscillators. The primary sound source is a core oscillator that starts as a pure sine wave and transforms through multiple synthesis techniques, generating a spectrum of timbres from warm, organic tones to sharp, digital textures. Uranograph provides multiple methods to modify the primary sine wave, introducing even and odd harmonics and sidebands, shaping both harmonic and inharmonic spectra. By altering the phase of a sine wave without changing its fundamental frequency, Uranograph transforms simple waveforms into dynamically evolving textures that range from warm and bell-like to metallic and aggressive:

Size (Phase Warping & Spectral Expansion): Stretches waveforms, altering harmonics similar to pulse-width modulation.

Tilt (Asymmetric Amplitude Distortion): Inspired by the Casio CZ series, this phase distortion skews waveforms asymmetrically, generating sounds from soft and vocal-like to harsh and metallic.

Fold (Wave Folding): Nonlinear reflection of signals creates a harmonic-rich spectrum, akin to West Coast synthesis.

The core oscillator can be split and harmonized into three voices, each following a chromatically quantized deviation from the main frequency set by the keyboard. This deviation can be changed trough two multi function programmable faders. This creates chord-like voicings, which are ideal for harmonic layering and ensemble effects. This enables Uranograph to function more as a harmonizer effect than a standard polyphonic synth. The three voices are direct copies of the primary waveform and inherit all parameter modifications from the panel, ensuring a cohesive harmonic response across all voices.

The central core oscillator works in a dual-spectrum configuration with a dedicated sub-octave oscillator. While the core oscillator's rich harmonics define the upper-frequency spectrum, the sub-generator reinforces lower frequencies, ensuring depth and body. Waveforms: Sine, saw, and square waveforms selectable via a switch. Selectable Sub Frequencies: unison, one or two octave below.

Completing the architecture, a dedicated modulation oscillator serves as either an additional fifth voice or a modulation source. Frequency follows the keyboard, but its base rate is controlled via the speed knob. The frequency range is 0.001 Hz to 3,000 Hz, allowing for both slow-evolving modulation and audio rate for rich spectral transformations. Waveforms: Sine, saw, and random noise selectable via a dedicated switch. A dedicated modulation amount knob determines how the modulator interacts with different synthesis parameters selected through a rotary potentiometer: AM, FM, Size, Tilt, Fold, or mix. This final layer opens the door to classic and unconventional sonic textures, making the Uranograph a versatile tool for sound design exploration and experimental synthesis.

In Uranograph's additive and phase-morphing synthesis architecture, the filter plays a different role than in traditional subtractive synthesis. Unlike classic synths where filtering is crucial for shaping harmonics, Uranograph's core oscillators inherently define the harmonic content through their phase manipulation and additive processes. As a result, harmonic reduction and spectral shaping are already embedded in the sound generation itself. After the summation of the core oscillator, SUB, and MOD, Uranograph features a versatile circuit that functions as a VCA / Low Pass Gate (LPG) hybrid. The resonance, ranging from subtle warmth to highly aggressive self-oscillation, add an organic response to dynamic playing.

Uranograph's core sound engine is enhanced by a suite of tailored DSP effects, meticulously designed to shape and refine every aspect of its timbres. These effects are fully integrated into the synthesis architecture, ensuring seamless interaction with the instrument's dynamic sound design. From spatial depth to harmonic reinforcement, these tools expand the Uranograph's sonic capabilities, offering immersive and evolving textures. Uranograph's stereo delay system is engineered for rhythmic enhancement and spectral manipulation, seamlessly blending traditional echo effects with Karplus-Strong-style resonation.
DeltaT knob controls delay time with two distinct behaviors: in the first 25% of its range, time adjustment functions as a micro-timed continuous shift, allowing the delay to function as a resonator, producing rich tonal textures.

SoMa Lyra-8 8-Voice Organismic Analogue Synthesiser (rusty)
Cat: 1090679

8-voice organismic analogue synthesiser
Notes: Welcome to the world of sound of LYRA-8, the unique organismic analogue synthesiser designed by Vlad Kreimer. "Organismic" means that LYRA uses some principles that lie in the base of living organisms. The way how LYRA's modules interacting between each other and the behaviour of the instrument resembles a live conversation.

LYRA-8 is based on eight generators, which will be referred to as voices. Their design is not like a traditional subtractive synthesis VCO. Instead of having a linear or logarithmic dependency on control voltage, they resemble the tone generators in old electric organs. Hence the use of the term "voices" instead of "VCOs". Lyra uses non-linearity a lot, and the voices are constructed in such a way that allows for non-linearity to express itself.

The voices are divided into four pairs (12, 34, 56, 78). All the pairs are divided in two groups, with two pairs in each (1234, 5678), creating tree-like structure.

The voices can function either in an electric organ mode or in an FM synthesis mode with each of the voices and its envelope acting as a separate FM operator. The voice's impact on FM synthesis will decrease along with the decay of its envelope.

LYRA-8 also has the next blocks:

The HYPER LFO is a complex low-frequency generator, whose waveform is synthesized from two simple LFOs by summation or multiplication of their frequencies. It also has a sync mode. The LFO can modulate the selected pairs of voices and the MOD DELAY.

The MOD DELAY consists of two lines of delay with cross-feedback and a special architecture that enables resonance between the two lines. Each line's delay time can be individually modulated from various sources, including external ones. The delay has a unique possibility of self-modulation where the output signal modulates the delay sample rate, creating cool effects.

The DISTORTION is last in the chain, after the delay. It enables the delay to also influence the distortion.

For all its experimental character, LYRA is a professional instrument. Its output dynamics and frequency response are balanced and ready for a live performance or studio recording without any additional processing.

JMT Synth UNVO-1 Analogue Desktop Synthesiser JMT Synth UNVO-1 Analogue Desktop Synthesiser
JMT Synth UNVO-1 Analogue Desktop Synthesiser (analogue desktop synthesiser)
Cat: 1060996 Rel: 21 May 25

Analogue desktop noise synthesiser
Notes: Excellent basic analogue synth with its own distinctive character. The UNVO-1 is a two-oscillator design with a 'strain' and filter circuit to sculpt your sound. Control via the knobby front panel for experimental tones and powerful bass sounds.

Supplier's Notes:
It is powered by a center negative DC 9V adapter or a single 9V battery.

It contains two VCOs (oscillators) with a wide range.

The SUB oscillator has a different frequency and waveform, and is input to the main, respectively. Each of them has a range switch, so it works like an LFO under the switch. The color of the range switch (white, black) corresponds to the color of the SUB.1 and SUB.2 on-off switches next to the FREQ knob of the main oscillator.

When the WAVE switch is turned on, the WAVE knob is activated, and the SUB OSCILLATOR.1 and 2 are shaken.

The main VCO×2 is mixed and fed into the strain + filter circuit. This special filter has a FREQ knob and a TUNE knob. The TUNE knob powerfully amplifies the input signal while also tracking specific pronunciations.

The filter is a circuit that has been fine-tuned so that it can very effectively enhance the bass and treble of this input signal.

Unlike other switches, the noise-on switch moves sideways, left (VCO.1), middle (OFF), and right (VCO.2). They are populated in VCO.1 and 2, respectively.

It is a noise machine that can output a very strong signal that generates a variety of noise sounds.

This analogue synth runs on DC9V negative center or a 9V battery.

The main 2 VCOs can receive 2 oscillators and noise generator inside and go to 2 different filters.

2 oscillators can be tuned with each two FREQ. knobs and controlled with the wave knob.

RED switch is for wave knob working.

Black and White for tone of oscillators

Cat: 1061069 Rel: 21 May 25

EGL-1 is a desktop analogue synthesiser that is ideal for a variety of duties; modulation capabailties, VCO routed through a boost circuit and much more
Notes: EGL-1 is a desktop analogue synthesiser that is ideal for a variety of duties. The unit's sub-oscillator can be configured to determine the emitted waveform and decays when the Push switch is pressed. There are four LFOs routed to the primary VCO for bountiful modulation capabilities. The VCO itself is routed through a boost circuit for a some extra flair that's sure to punish listeners in all the right ways.

EGL-1 Features

VCO routed through boost circuit
4 LFOs provide ample modulation possibilities
Integrated sub-oscillator
Push switch causes the sub-oscillator to decay
Two types of modulation can be applied to the MAIN VCO (oscillator).

The bottom stage mixes four LFOs and allows you to adjust the input level to the MAIN VCO with the level.

The middle stage allows you to input a WAVE to the SUB OSC (another oscillator) with adjustable rise and fall of the oscillator, which can then be fed into the MAIN VCO.

The push-button in the top right-hand corner rapidly decays the power of the SUB OSC as long as it is pressed. While it decays, it has an effect on the sound of the MAIN VCO.

The MAIN VCO output also has an output circuit to make the sound more powerful.

The EGL-1 operates from a 9V centre-minus or battery. Neither is included.

Supplier's Notes:
The miniKORG 700Sm is a compact tribute to the iconic miniKORG 700, the very origin of Korg's analogue synth history, enhanced to meet the needs of today's musicians. Featuring two oscillators for thick, detuned sounds, the miniKORG 700Sm sees the return of the signature Traveler controller, allowing for expressive filter adjustments. With advancements like aftertouch, spring reverb, an arpeggiator, and a range of connectivity options including USB and MIDI, this synth is both a powerful standalone instrument and an excellent companion to stage keyboards. Complete with a custom soft case and a free software bundle, the miniKORG 700Sm brings vintage analogue sound into the present day.

Released in 2021, the miniKORG 700FS was a spectacular recreation of the legendary 1970s miniKORG 700S analogue synthesizer, enhanced with additional functionality that wasn't possible in the original. The miniKORG 700FS was so popular that its limited production run sold out quickly, with significant demand for increased production. Korg has a long history of groundbreaking analogue synthesizers. The miniKORG 700Sm is a tribute to the miniKORG 700, the very origin of Korg's analogue synth history, while being enhanced to meet the needs of today's musicians.

Downsizing the miniKORG 700FS

The miniKORG 700Sm retains all the features of the miniKORG 700FS in an instrument approximately 86% the size of the original. Additionally, the miniKORG 700Sm weighs just 5.8 kg (12.8 lbs), making it easy to transport.

The elements vital to an analogue synth

The character and richness of the sounds produced by the miniKORG 700 could not be realized through analogue modelling. Although it's possible to replicate a circuit by using the same parts and copying the design schematics or circuit board, there's no guarantee that this will reproduce the original sound. This is because the components age over time, dramatically altering the sound. To accurately recreate the original sound, Korg had to rely on the experience and skill of the technicians who worked on the original product.

Korg were able to bring the original sound to life thanks to their team of technicians, who have gained invaluable expertise over the years through their work on numerous synthesizer revival projects. This team was guided by the legendary Fumio Mieda, a Korg engineer since the early 1970s and one of the designers of the original miniKORG 700S. Working closely with Korg's sound designers, they meticulously reproduced the original sound as faithfully as possible. Those who play the miniKORG 700Sm will experience it as a beautifully crafted and authentic recreation of the original.

Beautiful synth leads, thick bass - and more

The miniKORG 700 was Korg's first synthesizer, and produced some of the most recognizable, rich and fattest analogue sounds of the time. The new miniKORG 700Sm features oscillators with an unmistakeable tone and an authentic recreation of the Traveler controller- a signature element of the miniKORG 700- designed to add extraordinary colour and expression to performances. Its sound fits seamlessly in today's music, especially with its standout lead and bass synth tones.

Secondary keyboard possibilities

The miniKORG 700 was originally designed as a secondary keyboard, often placed on top of an organ to expand their sound palette. The miniKORG 700Sm, with its compact and portable form factor, stands out as a powerful solo instrument but also complements stage keyboards like electric pianos and organs perfectly.

The controls on the miniKORG 700 were laid out below its keys in a row, allowing players to easily access them when it was placed on top of another instrument. This intuitive layout remains unchanged, offering simplicity, ease of use, and a unique look that sets it apart from any other instrument.

Expanded functionality When the miniKORG 700 was originally released, electronic components were larger in size, limiting functionality due to the small space inside. Thanks to advancements in technology, there is now room to include a spring reverb as well as a joystick for pitch bend and modulation. The new version also features aftertouch for added expressiveness, as well as an arpeggiator, USB port, MIDI IN connector and a CV/GATE IN jack. Korg have also added memory programs to store settings, something that wasn't available in the early 1970s.

Traveler controller

A unique feature of the miniKORG 700, the Traveler controller, consisted of two parallel sliders located below the keyboard. With these controls, players could adjust the cutoff frequency, with the upper lever controlling the low-pass filter and the lower lever controlling the high-pass filter. This gave players the freedom to adjust the expressive character of the sound according to the position of the levers. By moving the levers to the left and right while playing the keys, wah-wah and muted sounds could be created along with the iconic "traveling" sound.

Since the sound passing through the filter has a lower cutoff frequency and higher cutoff frequency than the frequencies set by the sliders, all frequencies are filtered and thus no sound is heard when the positions of the two sliders are inverted. In other words, making the two sliders cross would in theory produce no sound. To address this, the original miniKORG 700 featured protrusions on the sliders to physically prevent them from crossing.

The design was both a benefit and limitation of analogue circuitry. In the past- and even today- it's impossible to design a filter with perfect characteristics. During the time that the miniKORG 700 was sold, some players would shave off the protrusions on the sliders to allow them to cross, in an attempt to create new sounds. In fact, some models sold internationally did not even have the protrusions to begin with. The miniKORG 700Sm also does not have the protrusions, opening endless sound design possibilities and allowing players to create patches in unique ways.

A second oscillator The miniKORG 700 was a single-oscillator mono synth. One year later 1974, the miniKORG 700S was released with more space added to the left of the keyboard for a controller. This version also introduced a second oscillator, a ring modulator, and other enhancements. The new Sm model is a revival of the 700S, with its expanded functionality, including two oscillators that deliver powerful detuning and thick, penetrating sounds, particularly for bass and lead sounds.

Includes a made-to-fit soft case

The miniKORG 700Sm comes with a custom-made soft case designed to perfectly fit the instrument, ensuring both protection and portability. This case makes it easy to take your miniKORG 700Sm wherever you go, whether you're performing, recording, or traveling, keeping your synth safe and secure.

Free music software bundle

The miniKORG 700Sm comes with a diverse variety of music software including Izotope (featuring "Ozone Elements" which lets you not only create songs but also master them using AI), "Skoove" which will help you improve your keyboard playing skills, "miniKORG 700S" from the Korg Collection software, as well as a wide range of software synths from Korg and other developers.

Supplier's Notes:
WoFI is a portable Sampler keyboard that connects to the internet via WiFi, and features an innovative effect module called Texturer that combines elements of shimmer and granular synthesis to create unique and fascinating sounds. Its compact size and intuitive interface make it an ideal tool for musicians and producers who are always on the move. In addition, WoFI comes with a rechargeable battery, allowing you to create music anywhere you go without worrying about power. You can also share your patches and access sound banks from other sound designers through the mywo.fi community platform. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned professional, WoFI offers endless possibilities for exploring new sonic territories and creating unique sounds.

Features

Player

The Player let you colour your sound with our emulations of classic samplers and their different sample player modes. Make it clean, dirty or anywhere in between.

Enveloppe

Sculpt your sound with the Enveloppe that can be assigned to WoFi's amp, filter or even both.

Manager

With the Manager and its display, get a visual feedback on all your tweakings, manage your sample library, access to mywo.fi content through WiFi and play with the touch strip. Oh, and there is no subscription needed for mywo.fi. Having WoFi gives you free access to community.

Filter

The Filter let you play the WoFi like classic subtractive synthesizers. It's a digital low-pass filter with two different slopes (12dB and 24dB) and a tasty resonance.

Texturer

The Texturer is here to bring you to unexplored sonic territories. Elevate your sound with this effect halfway between a shimmer FX and granular synthesis.

LFO

The LFO let you modulate your creation. With three different wave shapes, assign it to any parameter of the front panel and give motion to the sound.

Sequencer

The Sequencer let you build melodic patterns with the 16 polyphonic steps. It can be used as an arpeggiator. You can have your two hands free to play along the sequence and tweak your sound while it is looping. Oh, and you can also step sequence parameters, which makes it another modulation source in addition of the LFO and the Enveloppe.

Recorder

The Recorder let you either capture a sample from the line in or directly from the built-in microphone. It's easy as pie, pick your audio source with the switch, click on record and voila. Just like with the iconic first keyboard samplers.

Master

The Wofi is made to be played in many contexts, from your couch to the studio, so it has a full connectivity and two stereo audio outputs: one for your headphones and one for a master line-out and the WoFi internal speaker. Set your volumes easily.

Future Retro Vectra 29-Keys Hybrid Synthesiser (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1090104 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order***

Future Retro's unique modern take on vector synthesis takes full advantage of an impressive hybrid synth engine. Digital oscillators, ring modulation and complex envelopes meet a multi-mode analogue filter with paraphonic capabilities. Quirky and flexible.

Supplier's Notes:
The Vectra is a unique hybrid synthesizer with a flexible architecture that allows many different forms of synthesis to be realized. It's the best of both worlds... The Vectra utilizes digital oscillators, ring modulators, noise sources, vector mixer, LFO's, complex envelopes, and modulation routings providing many capabilities that would be very difficult to produce with analogue circuitry alone. This allows for accurate tuning, repeatability of complex patches, and patch storage. The Vectra also provides a multi-mode analogue filter, VCA, and final output, as these provide the best sonic qualities.

The Vectra includes a powerful and fun sequencer and arpeggiator, with many new capabilities. Although the Vectra is a self contained instrument, MIDI can be used to interface with other devices.

The Vectra provides four oscillators, white and pink noise sources, four ring modulators, a four-channel mixer, five LFO's, six morphing envelopes, six primary multimode analogue filter types, a main analogue VCA, and numerous internal modulation routings and VCA's controlling modulation amounts.

It really is like having a powerful self-contained semi-modular synthesizer with approximately 500 internal signal routings, and around 256 storable sound parameters.

The synthesizer architecture is designed to allow the greatest flexibility in recreating multiple synthesis techniques of the past while introducing several new innovations. The sound section has been inspired by features of the greatest synthesizers ever made, while not focusing specifically on recreating any instrument in particular. The Vectra is in fact it's own unique self-contained instrument.

The oscillators are digital as this provides the highest degree of tuning stability, while allowing both virtual analogue and digital waveform generations. With features like oscillator Sync, PWM, the new waveform Phase Slice, and Fade features, independent glide times per oscillator, constant beat detuning, and paraphonic voice modes, not to mention FM, AM, ring-modulation, and dedicated LFO's, envelopes, and VCA's per oscillator really make these oscillators a power house.

The four-channel mixer is unique in that it provides an even balance when mixing multiple sources, either manually with the joystick, or applying automated vector mixing, or mixer modulation.

Updated version of the ground-breaking synth, sampler and sequencer. Better than ever, with legendary sound quality and portability.

Supplier's Notes:
The beauty of evolution.

Louder, thinner and 100 times better.

Introducing the all new OP-1 field. Injected with more than a decade of ideas, refinements and improvements. Just to mention a few: stereo throughout the whole signal chain, Bluetooth MIDI, USB type-C, a new speaker system with a passive driver for detailed, fat and loud sound, a massive 24 hour battery life, multiple tapes and recording formats, new great sounding reverb and the 'dimension' synth engine, an all glass, flush, high resolution display. The graphics have also been meticulously reworked, screen by screen.

Reworked, refined, reborn.

Think of OP-1 field as the natural continuation of its predecessor. Updated with the latest technology, improved design and finely tuned with professional musicians, recording artists and sound designers in mind. Higher quality in all aspects, from its circuitry to connectivity and flexibility, it's tailor made for professionals in the field.

The new stereo sample engine is just one of the features that takes the OP-1 field to a higher level. With increased sampling time up to 20 seconds and dual layer mode for instant mixing of the a and b channels or via an assigned LFO.

Four new recording formats: Studio 4-track, vintage 4-track, porta and disc mini.
All with their own unique characteristics and graphics. Now with multiple tapes or discs, up to 8 in total.

If it feels thinner, it is.

By lowering the aluminium body around the keyboard, the new OP-1 field feels lighter, thinner and more precise. with 2k moulding Teenage Engineering have also managed to fit a dual 2.4 GHz antenna system inside the aluminium body.

The back is warm, velcro and bass.

Two soft velcro rings have been added on the back for fastening covers and accessories. Perhaps you want to stick your op-1 field on top of your full size keyboard, or slap it on a guitar? Use the included adhesive looped back and start experimenting. On the right you'll find an additional passive loudspeaker for hugely improved bass. And for a 'no-more-cold-metal-on-your-lap' experience, the aluminium body has been folded in a warm, soft touch, hard cover.

The first accessory out using the velcro rings is the Bill Amberg leather wrap that attaches to the back and wraps around the op-1 field and locks around the encoders.

Koma Elektronik Chromaplane Analogue & Polyphonic Electromagnetic Synthesiser
Cat: 1050564

Analogue & polyphonic electromagnetic synthesiser
Notes: The Chromaplane is an instrument created in collaboration between KOMA Elektronik & Passepartout Duo.

The Chromaplane is played using two electromagnetic pickup coils, that are moved over its surface to listen to a cloud of electromagnetic fields produced by the instrument. These ten fields are represented by small indicators on the instrument's surface.

The Chromaplane is fully polyphonic, meaning that all ten of the instrument's analogue square wave oscillators are always sounding - this makes the instrument ideal for both sculpting complex drones, and playing agile melodies. Each field can be tuned using its corresponding adjustment screw. The oscillators are additionally organized into three rows, each with a switch that drops that row's pitch one octave.

The timbre of the Chromaplane can be further shaped using its internal VCF, a 4-pole low pass filter that darkens the instrument's sound and is also modulated by the internal audio signal, allowing for rich harmonic sounds and timbres reminiscent of frequency modulation. A lo-fi delay/echo effect with CV controlled time adds a sense of ambiance and rhythmicity to the dry signal's output.

The Chromaplane also features an external audio input, allowing the player to route other sounds to one electromagnetic field on the instrument's surface. The instrument's envelope output can also be used to modulate parameters on the instrument, or on other hardware synthesizers.

The Chromaplane includes: The Chromaplane itself, 2 pickup coils, 1 tuning screwdriver, 1 power adapter that works worldwide, 1 manual

Welcome to the world of sound of LYRA-8, the unique organismic analogue synthesiser designed by Vlad Kreimer.

Crows Electromusic LORE Two-Oscillator Analogue FM Synthesiser Crows Electromusic LORE Two-Oscillator Analogue FM Synthesiser
Cat: 1081199 Rel: 15 Apr 25

A standalone all-analogue tool for exploratory sound synthesis.
Notes: Super affordable but fun analogue synth, the LORE does two-oscillator FM synthesis to create experimental tones, drones and textures. Power via USB-C, output over 3.5mm jack socket.

Supplier's notes:
Lore takes two of the lush all-analogue oscillators from OVUM, and adds frequency modulation to unlock a wild new range of sounds. It's designed for exploring tones, drones, and frequency modulated textures. Each voice is made of an independently controlled triangle-core oscillators, with separate control for volume, pitch, and can be crossfaded between a bright square wave and a crisp triangle wave.

Lore is frequency modulation. The left oscillator can be sent to the audio output, where it will create harmony or dissonance with the right oscillator, or it can be switched to modulate the frequency of the right oscillator. This is a simplified and analog version of the kind of FM synthesis you'll find in digital synthesizers like the DX7 and it's descendants. It's hand-built from 100% analog circuitry, with no digital components, screens, quantization, or key-combinations to memorize - everything is immediate and at your fingertips.

Lore is enclosed in a sturdy transparent-green petroleum-free bioplastic case. It has a USB-C port for power, and a single 3.5mm audio output jack for headphones or line-out to connect to an amplifier, audio interface, or effects.

To reduce waste, by default Lore comes with just the instrument and a USB to USB-C power cable. If you don't have a spare USB power supply, they can be added to your purchase at checkout. Lore is portable, but does not contain a battery. It can be powered by any USB powerbank.

JMT Synth UNVO-1b Analogue Desktop Noise & Drone Synthesiser (black)
Cat: 1060979 Rel: 14 Apr 25

Analogue drone/noise synthesiser with four oscillators
Notes: The UNVO-1b powered by a centre negative DC 9V adapter or a single 9V battery.

It also contains two VCOs (oscillators) with a wide range.

The frequency and waveform of the SUB oscillator are changed, and they are input to the main, respectively. Each of them has a range switch, so it works like an LFO under the switch. The colour of the range switch (white, black) corresponds to the colour of the SUB.1 and SUB.2 on-off switches next to the FREQ knob of the main oscillator.

The UNVO-1b is a noise machine that can output a very strong signal that generates a variety of noise sounds.

The black painted aluminium die-cast case is painted with a black matte paint with a laser and scraped to make letters.

This analogue synth runs on DC9V negative centre or a 9V battery.

The main 2 VCOs can receive 2 oscillators and noise generator inside and go to 2 different filters.

2 oscillators can be tuned with each two FREQ. knobs and controlled with the wave knob.

RED switch is for wave knob working.
Black and White for tone of oscillators

Motas Electronics Motas-6 Paraphonic Vector-Morphing Synthesiser (stainless steel) Motas Electronics Motas-6 Paraphonic Vector-Morphing Synthesiser (stainless steel) Motas Electronics Motas-6 Paraphonic Vector-Morphing Synthesiser (stainless steel) Motas Electronics Motas-6 Paraphonic Vector-Morphing Synthesiser (stainless steel)
Cat: 1061960 Rel: 02 Apr 25

Paraphonic vector-morphing synthesizer with fully analogue signal path, powerful digital control and a super-flexible independent modulation architecture.
Notes: A nice middle ground between old-school analogue and modern convenience here. The Motas-6 features a fully analogue six-voice paraphonic signal path, all controlled by digital elements for preset storage, modulation and sequencing.

Supplier's Notes:
Motas-6 is a very powerful and flexible analogue paraphonic synth with digital control. It has three voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) including hard-sync options, analogue phase-modulation and a sub-oscillator. Each VCO has several waveforms that can be freely mixed and modulated and each VCO can be assigned to track notes in various ways for paraphonic playing. The mixer takes the signals from the 3 oscillators, noise source and external input and outputs to the filters. The mixer output will distort (intentionally) with the highest input levels and there is a boost mode for even greater distortion. An analogue noise source with selectable white/pink response has its own control for input level into the mixer.

Motas-6 has a unique 'vector morphing' feature allowing you to morph between 4 patches of your choice in real-time using external MIDI controllers or CV inputs. There are 5 instant-access patches available at any time (in RAM memory). In vector morphing mode dual external controllers allow the active patch to morph in 2-dimensions between the first 4 presets. On exit from this mode the resulting patch settings are stored to the 5th preset automatically.

There are has masses of modulation options. Each and every rotary knob parameter has independent modulation settings from key, velocity, 4 modulation sources (from MIDI and CV/gate inputs) as well as from its own EG (Envelope Generator) and LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) - a total of 33 independent EGs and LFOs! There are also 4 global EGs and 4 global LFOs with individual amount settings for each parameter.

Motas-6 has very powerful filtering capabilities. There is a 6-pole voltage-controlled low-pass filter (VCF) with adjustable resonance to self-oscillation (with selectable 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6-pole outputs), a 2-pole high-pass voltage-controlled filter and a second 4-pole resonant low-pass VCF (similar in design to that of a certain silver box from the '80s). The inputs and outputs of the filters can be connected together in various ways to give a huge range of filtering possibilities.

It has a built-in pattern sequencer. 1-bar patterns of notes and parameter change data can be stored and chained to together into a 2 track sequence. In the sequence each pattern can be transposed, repeated and delayed. 15 patterns are active at any one time (56 patterns can be saved to non-volatile memory arranged in 7 banks of 8 patterns). 16 sequences can be saved (2 banks of 8 sequences). Not only does the saved sequence contain all 15 RAM patterns, also the 5 complete RAM patches are also saved ensuring that every detail of the sequence is captured. It also has a built-in arpeggiator that can be synced to internal or external clock (MIDI or CV/gate). Options including hold-modes, direction, note-range, swing, pattern, note-length and delay. The settings are stored with the patch.

The output voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA) stage has a choice of analogue clipping/distortion options: dry, soft clip, hard clip, soft clip + hard clip, dry + soft clip + hard clip. External audio can be routed into the mixer with its own level control. However, when nothing is plugged into the external audio input socket an audio feedback loop from after the final VCA is fed into the mixer instead. Audio monitoring options include real-time oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, volume level and MIDI input monitor displayed on the fast and bright OLED display.

JMT Synth RGS-COR-A1 Analogue Desktop Drone & Noise Synthesiser
Cat: 1060998 Rel: 10 Mar 25

A powerful noise and drone box from JMT. The RGS-COR-A1 truly caters to all the noise needs you have
Notes: Nice experimental stuff from JMT. Dual oscillators and noise circuits interact to create unique drones, soundscapes and synth tones. Knobby front panel gives plenty of hands-on control.

Supplier's Notes:
Two VCOs with different circuit configurations are used, each with two types of waveform conversion circuits, one of which is a noise synthesis circuit created by the VCO input, to design complex interactions.

The output is input to a sustain circuit, a delay, via a distortion circuit that emphasizes bass, mid, and treble.

4 mixed CV/GATE sends the gate to the sustain circuit at the timing when it is mixed with the four rate knobs, and pronounces it at the timing of the gate like a drum synth. . The sustain length can be set with a knob. At the same time, the CV is also sent to the two VCOs (adjusted with the LV knob). The delay can be turned on and off with a switch.

Fine-tuning the numerical values of the circuit components and fine-tuning the knobs can obtain not only intense distortion but also delicately varied sounds.

CV IN is input to the VCO.

It is driven by a center minus DC 9V adaptor. A 12 V DC adapter can also be used for the power supply.

Increasing the voltage changes the range and setting range. Up to 12V

Two VCOs with different circuit configurations, each with two different waveform conversion circuits, one with a noise synthesis circuit created by the VCO input, a very complex interaction is designed.

The output is routed to the sustain circuit and delay via a distortion circuit that emphasizes lows, mids, and highs. 4 MIXED CV/GATE sends GATE to the SUSUTAIN circuit at the timing mixed by the 4 RATE knobs to produce a GATE timing like a drum synthesizer. Sustain can be set with the knob. At the same time, CV is sent to the two VCOs (adjustable with the LV knob) by this circuit.

Delay can be turned on and off with a switch.

Fine tuning of the values of the circuit components and fine adjustment of the knobs allows you to obtain not only intense distortion but also subtle variations. cv in is input to the VCO.

It offers six voices of polyphony, each equipped with a single voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), and a sub oscillator. The signal path includes a mixer, a 4-pole low-pass voltage-controlled ladder filter (VCF), and a voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA). The control signals are digitally generated, incorporating one low-frequency oscillator (LFO) and two ADSR-type envelope generators. Additionally, the Bree6 integrates an effects processor with chorus and delay.

The Bree6 interface is engineered for straightforward and intuitive use, featuring one knob per function and ensuring ease of access to its robust features, including MIDI connections, USB, balanced stereo audio outputs, headphone output, and CV inputs.

The signal path in the Bree6 is entirely analog, including a single VCO per voice, a sub oscillator, a mixer, a 4-pole low-pass ladder VCF, and a VCA. The control voltages are digitally generated, comprising one LFO and two ADSR-type envelope generators. It also features a stereo digital effects processor with Delay and Chorus.

The Bree6 features a single VCO plus a sub oscillator per voice. The oscillator includes sawtooth and pulse waveforms, with pulse width modulation control that can be modulated by the LFO. The oscillator tuning can be adjusted, and modulation can be applied from the LFO. The sub oscillator generates a square wave one octave below the main oscillator.

The Bree6's filter is a 4-pole ladder-type low-pass filter with resonance control. It can be modulated by EG1, with velocity affecting the modulation depth, and can also be modulated by the LFO. It can also be controlled by the modulation wheel and aftertouch.

The synthesizer offers a stereo ensemble type chorus effect. It simulates a string or vocal ensemble using multiple delay lines modulated by their dedicated LFOs. The stereo delay can reach a maximum delay time of up to 1 second.

The Bree6 contains one LFO with selectable waveforms (triangle, ramp up, ramp down, square, and random with sample and hold). The LFO's frequency can be set from 0.1Hz to 100Hz, and modulation can be applied to the VCO, VCF, and VCA.

There are two ADSR-type envelope generators in the Bree6, designed for precise control over the dynamics of both the filter and the amplifier.

Black Corporation Kijimi MK2 8-Voice Analogue Synthesiser Black Corporation Kijimi MK2 8-Voice Analogue Synthesiser
Cat: 1029533 Rel: 05 Mar 25

8-voice analogue synthesiser with polyphonic aftertouch, MPE & microtuning
Notes: Inspired by the RSF Polykobol, the mighty Kijimi is a serious analogue synth, packing eight voices of two-VCO architecture and SSI2140-based filters. MK2 upgrade features more powerful firmware, extensive LFO options and neat wooden end panels.

Supplier's Notes:
KIJIMI MK2 is crafted to be one of the most powerful polysynths ever built, all behind intuitive front-panel controls, from its continuous timbral variation to its exhaustive modulation matrix. The Black Corporation original features planetary-sized analog sound, inspired by the best of rare and classic synths, but unique to our own parallel galaxy.

Continuous analogue timbral control

Instead of fixed waveforms, KIJIMI's voltage-controlled oscillators can morph continuously through waveform types. Sine, triangle, sawtooth, and variable pulse waves are smoothly variable, with pulse width as you turn to the far right. It's a scheme that provides unique, independent timbral over each of the eight voices.

Deep 8-voice architecture

Each of KIJIMI 's 8 voices features 2 analogue oscillators each with a square sub-bass oscillator, for buttery timbres with extensive sound design options. The sub-oscillator produces an octave lower than the combined VCO1 and VCO2 outputs, meaning you can tune two sub-pitches. Hard sync is available in VCO sync and VCO1->2 and 2->1 configurations for maximum flexibility. There's also a noise source for adding bite and percussion components. A rich lowpass filter is built around the legendary 2140 chip and the ability to frequency-modulate it via VCO2, creates a full range of sounds from metallic and aggressive to subtle. Both filter cutoff and resonance are available as modulation destinations.

Unique envelope functionality with dedicated controls

Two ADSR envelopes come with independent rate multipliers, keyboard control of attack rate, and versatile routing. Engage the CYCLE button for a cycling trapezoidal mode, similar to that on vintage instruments like the EMS Synthi. Few polysynths offer this level of detailed control, let alone with front-panel controlsino menu diving needed.

Endless modulation programmability

Modulation possibilities set the KIJIMI apart from other polysynths. Two LFOs can be routed independently to up to eight destinations, directly on front-panel buttons, controlling frequency and waveform modulation, sub-oscillator amount, filter cutoff and frequency, and amplitude modulation. Each LFO includes multiple waveform options (sine, triangle, saw, ramp, square, random) and separate attack and decay knobs in addition to rate. ADSR2 sports four independent destinations, also via front-panel push buttons and knobs. Even velocity and aftertouch get their own dedicated control section for applying velocity or aftertouch to each parameter (LFO rate, waveform morph, sub, pitch bend, and VCA). Dedicated knobs let you apply your aftertouch and poly-aftertouch, to taste, right where you want it. You'll rarely use the menus, and when you do, it'll only be to unlock even more advanced functionality (like multiple LFO features!). KIJIMI is a rare case of fusing straightforward one-control-per-feature design with unrestricted possibilities.

Full MIDI and expressive control, tuning support

Combine all the elements, and KIJIMI is an instrument that's playable like no other. Each note you play separately triggers modulation, independently on each voice, with full control via aftertouch. Add in full MIDI control, complete MIDI polyphonic expression (MPE) support, advanced tuning capabilities (including microtuning via SCALA and 128 memory locations for tuning settings), and velocity polyphonic aftertouch, each with up to six more destinations with its own bipolar settings. KIJIMI finally brings a synthesizer architecture that can unlock the possibilities of your expressive controller of choice.

Updated package

The MK2 version of KIJIMI includes all the acclaimed sonic power and character of its predecessor, in an improved package. Updated firmware now includes the ability to assign different LFO settings (rate, waveform, envelope, and depth) to each individual destination. In addition to 128 factory and 1152 user presets, we've included user banks by Mathew Jonson, Richard Devine, and Paul Schilling. All this comes in a compact, 2.71kg/5.97 lb device with wood panels attached (or the option of metal rack ears instead). DIN MIDI and isolated USB are onboard.

Breath-taking analogue-inspired sound with the limitless power of digital technology
Notes: Based on the iconic Mono/Poly analogue synth of the early 1980s, the Multi/Poly draws on decades of tech innovation to offer something fresh and exciting. Super versatile analogue modelling engine allows you to create unique synth voicings.

Supplier's Notes:
Multi/poly module

Breath-taking analogue-inspired sound with the limitless power of digital technology.

Summary

The multi/poly module takes analogue modelling to new heights, offering musicians and sound designers an incredible fusion of classic analogue warmth and cutting-edge digital power in a compact, rack-mountable module form. Inspired by the legendary Mono/Poly, this revolutionary synthesizer features four oscillators per program, advanced modulation capabilities, and a wealth of hands-on controls, allowing you to craft everything from rich, layered textures to futuristic, experimental tones. The new 19" rack-mountable enclosure has the same controls as the keyed model yet boasts an easily transportable form factor that fits neatly into any studio or desktop production system.

Overview

Inspired by the legendary Korg Mono/Poly, the new multi/poly analogue modelling synthesizer delivers breathtaking analogue sounds combined with extraordinary digital power and flexibility.

Korg is now pleased to introduce the multi/poly module: all of the multi/poly's incredible features and sounds in a compact 19" desktop/rackmount package. With support for MIDI 2.0 property exchange and poly aftertouch, the module is an excellent companion to Korg's Keystage controller. It's also fully compatible with programs from the multi/poly native software, as well as an increasing number of excellent third-party libraries, keeping the updated sounds and software fresh. The new 19" rack-mountable enclosure has the same controls as the keyed model, yet is easily transportable and fits neatly into any studio or desktop production system.

Next-level analogue modelling

multi/poly features redesigned, incredibly detailed filters and oscillators, and advances in analogue modelling that take this technology to a new level. Each voice contains a Virtual Voice Card, where oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs, and portamento circuits are modelled to reflect analogue hardware component variations. As a result, each voice can have its own slightly di6erent character, creating rich and naturally evolving timbres

Just like in an analogue synthesiser, voice cards continue to play even if you're not hearing them. Envelopes evolve naturally, meaning if you play a long pad with an extended release time, newly played notes "catch" the envelope at its current state rather than restarting from zero Oscillators and LFOs maintain phase, while resonance continues to ring out. Pitch drift mimics the subtle instabilities of true analogue hardware.

The multi/poly also includes envelope curvature presets inspired by classic synths like the Mono/Poly, MS-20, ARP Odyssey, and Prophet 5. Additionally, analogue VCAs behave di6erently depending on voltage, with varying thresholds for turning on and o6, which has a strong impact on the Amp Envelope's character. multi/poly models VCA responses from the Mono/Poly, MS-20, Prophet 5, Mini, Odyssey, and more, alongside a linear option.

MIDI 2.0 property exchange and polyphonic aftertouch support

All models of multi/poly, hardware and software, support MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange and easy access to Polyphonic Aftertouch - making them excellent companions to Korg's Keystage controller.

Rack-mount and desktop compatible

The multi/poly module is cleverly designed for both desktop and rack-mount use. The front panel is redesigned to fit into a standard 19" width, and the rear jack panel is recessed to allow easy access to cables even with gear mounted directly above. With desktop setups, brackets over a choice of panel angles: flatter for performing standing up, or more upright for working while seated in your studio

Tangible Waves AE Modular VSYSTEM-1 Synthesiser & Sequencer
Cat: 1010370 Rel: 13 Feb 25

Modular synthesiser & sequencer complete system
Notes: The VSYSTEM-1 is a complete synth in a case of exactly the size of the Korg Volca synths. It contains the following AE modules:

2OSC/d (dual oscillator)
The 2OSC/d module contains two 1V/octave hybrid oscillators.
Each of them has:
one frequency knob plus a range switch +2 octaves
CV input (1V / octave)
PWM input
SYNC input
Sawtooth / Square / Sub-octave output

The pulse width knob controls either the pulse width of the first oscillator (with the second one having a fixed pulse width), or via a switch the second oscillator is also controlled by the pulse width knob. Both oscillators can be pulse width-modulated independently by their PWM inputs.
The module is designed as a hybrid digital/analogue module; the oscillator frequencies are determined digitally and are therefore quite stable and have a good tracking; the output waveform itself is created analogue. It's a new idea/concept that I have implemented here; the design causes the waveform to gets a bit gritty at higher frequencies (but not "digital noise") - it's the character of this thing!

WASP FILTER
This filter module is a variant of the Wasp filter, a quite strange circuit used first in the EDP Wasp synth end of the seventies, which abuses digital chips in an analogue way leading to the characteristic sound of this filter type. In this module, vactrols are used for controlling the filter frequency.

MODULATORS (containing LFO, envelope, random voltage, VCA)
MODULATORS is a multifunctional module offering different kinds of modulation sources in a 1U module. It is designed especially with very small AE systems in mind.
You get:
An AD envelope generator
an LFO with adjustable rate, square wave and triangle/sawtooth output, pulse width knob and CV control
a random CV source working in different modes (stepped, smoothed, quantized) and a VCA

4ATTMIX
A versatile mixer / quadattenuator.
4ATTMIX offers four input channels which can be level controlled / attenuated by the corresponding knobs. The attenuated signals are sent to four outputs.
Additionally, each channel can be sent to an internal mixer by the switches beside the knobs. The mix signal is then sent to the mix output.
An additional switch selects the general operation mode for the mixer, for DC/CV signals or for audio signals.

SEQ8 (8-step sequencer)
The SEQ8 is an 8-step sequencer for controlling oscillator pitch and triggering envelopes.
Compared to "classic" analogue sequencers it works a bit different: Instead of setting the CV for each step independently (which means in fact "tuning" each step which can be a bit tedious), the SEQ8 has 4 knobs for presetting different CV's (= notes); each of the 8 step knobs selects one of these CVs, plus 0V (=base note) plus Pause (no trigger output). So some CVs have to be fine-tuned once; with the step knobs you can focus entirely on the sequence itself and you can even modify it on the fly, still remaining in tune.
Additionally, to the selected CV presets, the "raw" value of the step knobs is also accessible at an extra output.

DELAY
This module is a standard mono delay with the usual parameters
delay time
feedback
dry/wet mix.
It sounds not as clean and polished as a usual digital delay, but has quite a character on its own. High feedback settings allow endless and distorting loops.
(For the techies: It is based on the well-known PT2399 chip.)

Stereo Headphone amplifier, 2 IN/OUT sockets via a stereo minijack

It is delivered completely with power wall adapter and patchwires; everything needed to get the modular system started!

This is a REAL modular synth system; all modules can be rearranged and swapped as you like!

ASM Hydrasynth Explorer 888 Polyphonic Wave Morphing Synthesiser (orange limited edition) ASM Hydrasynth Explorer 888 Polyphonic Wave Morphing Synthesiser (orange limited edition)
Cat: 1052523 Rel: 03 Feb 25

8-voice 37-key polyphonic digital wave morphing synthesiser
Notes: Limited-edition orange version of the superb Hydrasynth Explorer. A smaller, more affordable version of the Hydrasynth Keyboard. Advanced wavetable synthesis with 8-voice polyphony, hands-on control and an excellent keybed with polyphonic aftertouch.

Supplier's Notes:
The HYDRASYNTH EXPLORER is the ultimate in power and portability, combining the powerful Hydrasynth sound engine with battery-powered operation and the new, mid-sized Polytouch polyphonic aftertouch keybed. The user interface is designed with the utmost attention to detail, making sound creation a breeze. This is the ultimate, portable companion for any setup, and anywhere else a smaller footprint is needed.

With an advanced wavetable synthesis engine, 3 Oscillators, dual Wave Mutants, and 2 filters that can be configured in series or parallel, the tone generating capabilities are unmatched.

As for the performance capabilities, the Hydrasynth Explorer has the proprietary 37-note mid-sized Polytouch keybed with polyphonic aftertouch. This provides a level of expressive, per-note control found only in certain vintage synths.

Polytouch Keybed

The perennial pursuit of musical instrument manufacturers is to find better ways for musicians to express themselves. Options have been limited for keyboard players; ASM had to settle for a velocity-only approach to emphasize one note over another. Pressure-sensitive keyboards could only change all of the notes at the same time. Not anymore!

Enter ASM, with patented Polytouch technology. The semi-weighted keybed on the Hydrasynth Explorer provides fully polyphonic aftertouch, as well as Note On / Note Off velocity sensitivity and the monophonic aftertouch found on other keybeds. Finally, variations in key pressure can affect notes individually. It feels great, too: the 37-note Polytouch keybed on the Explorer features high quality, mid-sized keys, and you will feel right at home, right away. The revolutionary Hydrasynth Explorer Polytouch keyboard helps you be more in touch with the music you are making. Now every note you play can ebb and flow like the tide.

Battery-powered operation

The Hydrasynth Explorer is highly portable! In addition to its compact size, it can be powered by 8 AA batteries for hours of music-making anywhere you want to go.

Oscillators
The tone generation capability is the heart of any synthesizer, and the 3 Hydrasynth oscillators are alive with potential. Each of the oscillators lets you choose from a selection of 219 single-cycle waveforms. And on top of that, two of the oscillators have powerful wavemorphing capabilities. Wavemorphing is a feature usually found on synths with preset wavetables. But creating user wavetables on those products is arduous or downright impossible. Unlike most wavetable synths, the oscillators 1 & 2 have an easy-to-use WAVELIST mode. This mode lets you select any 8 waves from the diverse collection of 219 waves, arrange them in the order you want, and then morph from one wave to another. This can be done automatically with any modulation source, such as an LFO or an envelope, or manually with a physical control such as polyphonic aftertouch or a Macro. And now in version 2.0 you can choose the bit depth of each oscillator, which puts those sought-after vintage or grungy sounds at your fingertips.

Mutants
Oscillators 1 & 2 are routed into ASM's MUTANTS. The Mutants allow you to modulate, bend and sculpt the sound in new (and old) ways.

Each Mutant lets you choose from the following processes:
FM-Linear: This is for making classic FM sounds. Choose multiple FM sources, including external inputs.
WavStack™: Creates 5 copies of the input source and allows you to set a detune amount.
Osc Sync: This gives you those classic hard sync sounds. Try hard-syncing a morphing wavetable for some fun.
Pulse Width Modulation (PW-Orig): Performs the classic pulse width modulation on any waveform.
PW-Squeeze: Compresses the centre section of the waveform, for a unique type of PWM.
PW-ASM: Divides the incoming wave into 8 slices and lets you set the amount of FM that is applied to each segment. This is FM unleashed.
Harmonic Sweep: This will sweep the harmonics of the input source.
PhazDiff: Generates the difference of the incoming wave and a version that is inverted and phase-shifted.

The Mutants can also generate their own waveforms in both FM and Sync modes, so you don't have use another oscillator. Of course, the routing is flexible so you can choose the other oscillators as mod sources if you like.

Mixer / Filter Routing
The 3 Oscillators are fed into a mixer along with the Noise generator and Ring Modulator. The mixer gives you independent control over the levels and stereo positions of those 5 sources. After this you are able to choose how much signal from each source is routed to filters 1 and 2. The filters can be routed in parallel or series for ultimate flexibility. Who knew that a simple mixer could be so powerful?

Filters
If oscillators and tone generators are the heart of a synthesizer, the filters are the soul. The soul of a Hydrasynth is a complex thing; it can claw or caress, scream or soothe, mangle or melt. It has been known to speak. The multi-faceted Hydrasynth filters are right in the thick of it. Filter 1 has 16 different models ranging from 1 to 8 poles, many with high-, band-, and low pass options. There is also a flexible vocal filter with formant control. Even if Filter 1 were the only filter the Hydrasynth had, it would take a lifetime to exhaust the possibilities. But it is not alone. Filter 2 is a 12dB per octave state-variable filter, which means it can sweep continuously from either low pass > bandpass > high pass or low pass > notch > high pass. It is similar to the classic SEM filter in many ways.
These two formidable filters can be configured in series or parallel. This means the one can feed and be sculpted by the other (series), or they can complement one another (parallel). With careful use of source panning in the Mixer module, the left and right outputs can be completely different or rich in unified complexity.

LFO's
5 Low-Frequency Oscillators
Much like ASM's sound engine, the LFOs are not ordinary by any means.
The Hydrasynth LFOs feature a STEP mode that lets you create patterns with up to 64 steps. Having 5 mini step sequencers gives you an amazing number of possibilities for further shaping your sound.
Of course, there are also 10 standard waveforms available, including Sample and Hold, Noise, and Random.
Each LFO has delay, fade in, 3 triggering modes, smoothing, start phase, BPM sync, and a One-Shot mode so that they can act as envelopes.
The version 2.0 LFOs have some exciting new features, including a Step option for the One-Shot mode that allows the Step wave to advance by one step per trigger.
And LFOs now can be quantized to create stepped values. It's like bit reduction for your LFOs.
Wait...LFOs can be envelopes?! Can envelopes be LFOs? Glad you asked...

Envelopes
5 DAHDSR Envelopes
An advanced sound engine needs plenty of modulation sources. The 6-stage envelopes feature Delay, Attack, Hold, Decay, Sustain, and Release stages.
The durations of the ADR stages can be set to seconds or subdivisions of the tempo, giving you envelopes that play in sync to your song.
In fact, you can also loop the envelopes, which turns them into LFOs that can be shaped by any source in the modulation matrix.
Each envelope can be triggered by up to four different sources, and there's a Tap Trigger option too.
And now the envelopes can be quantized to different step levels as of version 2.0. Bit reduction strikes again!

Modulation Matrix
The modulation capabilities on the Hydrasynth are endless. With 32 user-definable Modulation matrix slots, there are plenty of ways to use the 35 modulation sources and 191 modulation destinations. Almost everything in the synth engine can be a modulation destination, including the effects and arpeggiator. The modulation routes themselves can also become modulation destinations, and can be targeted by the Macros too. Modulation sources & destinations include the CV Mod Out jacks as well as all 128 MIDI CCs. There are some hard-wired modulation routes located in other modules too. This means you don't have to burn up one of the 32 mod routes in the Modulation matrix to do certain basic functions.

Arpeggiator
The arpeggiator has all the standard arpeggio directions plus a few twists (up, down, and/or sideways, sort of). There's also a built-in phrase mode, and version 2.0 adds new features like Step Offset and increases the range to 6 octaves. Parameters like RATCHET and CHANCE will generate other semi-random rhythmic patterns to add life and spontaneity to your performance.
You can also modulate most of the parameters in the arpeggiator. Imagine using LFOs, Envelopes, Polyphonic Aftertouch or the Ribbon controller to modify your arpeggios in real time! It boggles the mind.

4-voice organismic analogue synthesiser
Notes: Introducing the revived version of LYRA-4 organismic synthesiser, the younger sister of the famous LYRA-8. "Organismic" means that LYRA uses some principles that lie in the base of living organisms. The way how LYRA's modules interacting between each other and the behaviour of the instrument resembles a live conversation. It's smaller and weighs less but is equally rugged in design, and still packs a lot of punch. This makes it easy to fit in a backpack and perfect for taking the LYRA sound on the road. And playing two LYRA-4s can actually sound very different than just one LYRA-8.

LYRA-4 is based on four generators, which will be referred to as voices.

The voices are divided into two pairs (12, 34), creating tree-like structure.

The voices can function either in an electric organ mode or in an FM synthesis mode with each of the voices and its envelope acting as a separate FM operator. The voice's impact on FM synthesis will decrease along with the decay of its envelope.

LYRA-4 also has the next blocks:

The HYPER LFO is a complex low-frequency generator, whose waveform is synthesized from two simple LFOs by summation or multiplication of their frequencies. It also has a sync mode. The LFO can modulate the selected pairs of voices and the MOD DELAY.

The MOD DELAY consists of delay with feedback.

4-voice organismic analogue synthesiser
Notes: Derived from the excellent Lyra-8, the Lyra-4 features a similar 'organismic' approach to synthesis. Four-voice non-linear architecture offers unique tones in a compact, portable format.

Korg MicroKorg XL+ Analogue Modeled Synthesiser & Vocoder (B-STOCK) Korg MicroKorg XL+ Analogue Modeled Synthesiser & Vocoder (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1067990 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Box damaged, product in perfect working order
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box damaged, product in perfect working order***

Vintage and more.

With its unmistakably unique exterior and its inimitable sound, the microKorg set the standard for analog modeling synthesizers. The year 2008 saw the introduction of the microKorg XL, which inherited the microKorg's fat and powerful sounds, while adding keyboard staples such as electric piano and the CX-3 organ. And now, in the next evolutionary step, the microKorg XL+ delivers a fresh update to the sounds and design of the microKorg XL, making it the ideal compact keyboard.

The microKORG XL featured a sound selector that lets you choose your sound using 2 large dials: music genre and instrument category. The new microKORG XL+ offers an additional selection of these music genres to fit today's fast-moving music scene. Now you can select a program that matches your song more intuitively than ever. For even more convenience, you can also leave one of the dials fixed and only use the other dial to make program changes during a song (music genre fixed), or use the dial to select vocoder variations (instrument category fixed).

Lush analog modeled synthesizer sounds that are characteristic of the microKORG have been freshly added to the microKORG XL+. In addition, for band use, the microKORG XL+ comes equipped with the piano sound from Korg's classic stage piano, the SGproX (famous for its ability to stand out in your band's mix), as well as its hard-edged grand-type electric piano. This compact package also includes sounds from the M1 and the VOX organ, vintage tape-type string and flute machines, as well as other gorgeous sounds from keyboard history. Each of these 128 programs are genuinely usable sounds, giving the microKORG XL+ plenty of variety to serve as your main keyboard or of course as a secondary keyboard in your rig.

The microKORG XL+ projects a style that's reminiscent of vintage electric pianos, featuring a futuristic yet retro design with a stylish black panel. High-quality parts such as metal levers, dials that move with an audible click, and knobs with a sturdy operating feel are some of the ways that the microKORG XL+ outclasses other instruments in its range and enhances your experience editing synthesizer sounds.

The microKORG XL+'s sound engine uses MMT (Multiple Modeling Technology), borrowing from Korg's well proven wealth of analog modeling technology. The MMT sound engine has been featured on numerous products, and provides 2 oscillators that generate huge powerful sounds. Oscillator 1 (OSC1) gives you a total of 7 types of oscillator algorithm to choose from, including formant waveforms such as human voice, and PCM/DWGS waveforms for vintage keyboard and strings. It also lets you use techniques that cannot be imitated on typical PCM synthesizers, such as cross modulation, unison, and VPM (Variable Phase Modulation). By taking advantage of modulation (sync or ring) with oscillator 2 (OSC2), it's easy to create complex and powerful sounds.

The microKORG XL+ can function as a powerful vocoder that lets you connect a mic and use its audio input to shape the tonal character of the oscillator's sound to create talking effects. The vocoder consists of a 16-band filter bank that can simulate the vocoder sounds of the past and also shift the filter frequencies (Format Shift function) or adjust the level and pan of each band to dramatically change the sonic character. Using the Vocoder is an easy way to add sounds that can be found in today's popular electronic music. Since a gooseneck microphone is included, you can immediately start using thevocoder in your songs.

2 master effects utilize the effect engine that was brought to perfection in Korg's Kaoss Pad series, giving you a total of 17 powerful effect types including delay and echo effects as well as dramatic effects such as ring modulator and grain shifter. In addition, effects such as delay can be synchronized to MIDI clock for a wide range of possibilities in live performance.

TOUCH SENSITIVE CONTROLLER settings

Behaviour:
- single: 12 key mode
- twin*: 2x6 key mode, the parameters are the same for both sides
- split*: 2x6 key mode, but with separate parameters for both sides (e. g.: you can have an arpeggiator on one side, but a basic keyboard controller on the other side)
* in twin and split modes the pressure output acts as the note CV output, therefore pressure parameters (output, rise and fall) have no effect

Arpeggiator state:
- off: the module acts as a keyboard controller
- on: enables arpeggiator

Arpeggiator hold:
- off: the arpeggiator will play only while the keys are held
- on: the arpeggiator will continue to play the last progression after the keys are released

Arpeggiator clock:
- sets the clock multiplication/division ratio for the arpeggiator

Arpeggiator direction:
- forward
- backward
- ping-pong
- random

Arpeggiator variation: when enabled the arpeggiated progression will be played again transposed by the selected interval.
- OFF
- x1
- x2
- x3
Arpeggiator variation interval: 1 - 12 semitones

Arpeggiator rhythm length: sets the length of the rhythm sequencer. 1 - 8 steps

Portamento: creates slew limiting effect on the CV output, sets the speed of gliding (ie: how much time it takes to transition from one pitch to the next). 0 - 255

Legato:
- off: portamento is always on
- on: gliding happens only when two or more note plates are touched simultaneously (this parameter has no effect when arpeggiator is enabled)

Vibrato speed: sets the speed of the LFO that's modulating the note CV output. 0 - 127

Vibrato depth: sets the modulation amount. 0 - 127

Vibrato delay: specifies a time delay before vibrato begins to apply until it reaches the full strength specified by the depth parameter. 0 - 127
