PLUS 3 is designed for musicians who prefer compact desktop control of features accessible via the sustain and expression jacks of their instruments, as opposed to using their feet or bulky sustain and expression pedals on their desk.

PLUS 3 includes a high-quality fader for expressive performance and automation, a momentary sustain key, and an innovative "drone mode" toggle switch, which lets you free your hands and hold notes indefinitely. In drone mode, the momentary key's functionality changes, to let you swap droned notes with new ones.

PLUS 3 is totally passive, meaning it doesn't require any power to work. It's made of aluminium, so it's sturdy, light, and portable. Its sustain key is based on standard mechanical keyboard-style keys, so you can customize it and swap the key out to make the pedal your own with your key of choice.

A momentary sustain button for instruments that don't have a dedicated physical sustain control (most don't!)

A dedicated drone/hold/arp latch switch for instruments that don't have one (many don't!). It's important to note that even if an instrument has a hold button, its sustain jack may unlock additional functionality or behaviour (for example, a button that simply holds notes does not cause Piano VSTs to resonate sympathetic strings in the way using sustain does.

Why Choose Parametric EQ over Graphic EQ?

Graphic equalizers provide a convenient visual sense of the EQ curve. However, there is a tradeoff in transparency and precision.

The graph here shows the ParaEq MKII Deluxe (cyan) and a 7-band graphic EQ pedal (magenta) both providing a +4dB boost at around 2 kHz. As can be seen, the ParaEq is much more precise in the changes it can make, whereas the graphic EQ affects nearly the entire frequency spectrum. Furthermore, at around 10kHz the ParaEq is providing unity gain, whereas the graphic EQ is attenuating the signal by nearly 6dB. This makes the ParaEq a more transparent circuit than the graphic EQ.

This combination of transparency and precision is why recording studio control rooms are dominated by parametric equalizers, and why they're a great choice for creative and corrective EQ on your pedalboard.

Notes: The Pitch Fork transposes an instrument's pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. The pitch shift amount can be set to a fixed interval or continuously varied by an expression pedal or control voltage.

The controls are straightforward and intuitive. An 11-position Shift switch selects the maximum transposition interval ranging from D (Detune), a shift of 17 cents, through Minor 2nd, Major 2nd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Perfect 5th, Major 6th, Minor 7th, 1 Octave, 2 Octaves and 3 Octaves. A three position toggle switch controls whether the pitch is transposed up, down or both. In Dual mode, two pitch-shifted signals are output. One follows the shift knob as if in the Up position while the other creates a harmony. Dual Mode settings include M3 up + P5 up, P5 up + 1 Oct down, 1 Oct up + 1 Oct down and many others. A Blend knob controls the mix of the dry signal and the effected signal, and an EXP jack enables the player to control pitch and glissando with an expression pedal.

The Latch button selects Latch or Momentary mode which affects how the footswitch and EXP input behave. In Latch mode, the footswitch toggles between effect on and buffered bypass each time it's pressed and the EXP input continuously varies pitch. In Momentary mode the effect is only on while the footswitch is depressed and when it is released the Pitch Fork goes into bypass.

In Latch mode the EXP input controls pitch shift amount, ranging from unity to the interval set by the Shift knob, and pitch varies continuously throughout the expression pedal's range. In Momentary mode the EXP input controls glissando rate for the Pitch Fork's footswitch. When the bypass footswitch is pressed, the Pitch Fork jumps from bypass to the interval set by the Shift knob. The amount of time it takes to reach that new note is the glissando rate. When the footswitch is released the pitch will return to unity at the same rate. That glissando time can vary between 4 milliseconds to two seconds depending on the heel/toe position of the expression pedal. The default glissando rate is 60 milliseconds when nothing is plugged into the EXP input.

The Pitch Fork comes equipped with an EHX 9.6DC-200mA power supply and also runs on a 9Volt battery.

The EHX Lizard King is a fixed-gain fuzz that is dynamically responsive. Adjustments to your instruments volume affects the amount of fuzz. The Ripped Speaker is a modern fuzz with old school roots and pays homage to one of the ways that early, distorted guitar and bass sounds were made. At low fuzz settings the pedal emulates the lo-fi distortion sounds of yesteryear, the kinds of sounds created by a razor blade applied to a speaker cone, a loose tube or a faulty channel on a recording console. When you crank the fuzz up the sound is transformed. It's modern and monumental with a searing, fully saturated, fuzz tone.

The Ripped Speaker's RIP knob is a bias control which sets the amount of clipping at the top and bottom of the signal wave form. It adds a lot of versatility and lets you tailor the character of the fuzz. Noon is neutral, a position where the fuzz is perfectly biased... fat, with a great low end and top end bite without being harsh. As you turn the knob clockwise the pedal produces a hard gating effect and the signal sputters and chokes. It's great for creating a dying battery effect. Turning the knob CCW produces yet a different style of fuzz with a smoother gating effect where the signal fades out quickly.

The Ripped Speaker's TONE control is active and delivers a tilt-shift type EQ. That means at noon the EQ is flat. As you turn the knob counter-clockwise the frequency response gets darker with more pronounced lows and less highs. Going clockwise yields a brighter tone with more highs and rolled back lows.

The Ripped Speaker features true bypass switching, comes equipped with a 9 Volt battery and accepts a standard EHX 9 Volt power supply.

The Mainframe provides sample rate reduction ranging from 48kHz to 110Hz. A little background... the sample rate is the number of times per second that a sample or snapshot of an analogue signal is taken. For example, CDs (remember them?) had a sample rate of 44.1kHz which means that the original analogue signal is sampled 44,100 times per second.

The sample rate defines the frequency range that can be reproduced while maintaining good fidelity. When the sample rate is reduced the quality of the audio is degraded and aliasing occurs. Aliasing means audible artifacts created when higher frequencies are sampled at an inadequate rate and the result is distortion. The Mainframe's sample rate range is wide enough to take you from sounds that are quite pristine to sounds that are unrecognizable when compared to the input signal.

It also provides bit crushing ranging from 24-bit to 1-bit. What does that mean? Bit crushing is bit depth reduction. Back to the CD example... CDs used a 16-bit bit depth meaning that each of its samples was represented by 16-bits of information. Higher bit depths can accurately represent a greater dynamic range while bit crushing increases the number of sampling errors and creatively degrades the sound to bring us back to those nasty "old school" sounds we love.

The Mainframe's selectable High/Low/Band-Pass filter lets the user shape the artifacts of the bit crushing and sample rate. Another very cool feature is its Sample Rate Tuning Mode where the pedal analyses your input signal in real-time and sets the sample rate to match the pitch of your signal, or a set interval above your signal. This allows you to set the sample rate to match the key of a song, or it will continually adjust the sample rate based on what you play!"

The Intelligent Harmony Machine's Moment Mode lets you instantly change pitch by simply depressing the pedal's footswitch. The pitch shift is engaged as long as you hold down the F/S. Notes: Originally designed by Josh Scott of JHS Pedals and graphic designer, Daniel Danger as a homage to Electro-Harmonix in what Josh and Daniel consider the company's design heyday of the 1970s, the EHX Lizard Queen Octave Fuzz is a nano-sized version of the pedal brought to life by the engineers at Electro-Harmonix that has all of the tones and vibes of the original circuit design by Josh. The tone is inspired by EHX's fuzz pedigree with a unique analog octave up circuit that has all the vibe of the original design first featured on the JHS Show in 2022. This creates a completely new and unique EHX fuzz sound we've never heard before. To further tell the tale, the pedal is adorned with vintage EHX-inspired graphics designed by Daniel.

Housed in EHX's Nano-sized chassis, the EHX Lizard Queen is a fixed gain fuzz pedal which features Volume, Octave, and Balance knobs. Volume controls the overall output volume level. The Octave control adjusts the level of the octave-up signal from zero to full octave chaos. Perfect for dialing in a crushing rhythm sound or a chimey, clanging lead sound. Expanding on Electro Harmonix's first homage to the tone that launched a thousand riffs, the EHX Satisfaction Plus delivers a wide palette of tones from classic '60s snarl to creamy lead tone to thick, earth-shaking sludge!

Where the original Satisfaction Fuzz circuit was a focused tribute, the Satisfaction Plus Fuzz treats the classic tone to a modern control set that includes a FAT/NORM mode switch, Bias control, and Tone knob. The added FAT mode features a tone that is bigger and warmer than the NORM mode for woolly leads and giant wall-of-thunder riffs. The Tone control is an active tilt-shift EQ that inversely controls both the treble and bass of the fuzz for broad tonal shifting. Set the Bias control to dial in the fuzz character from balanced and open to gated and snarly.

The late 1970s rarity Electro-Harmonix Slap-Back Echo pedal is reissued with modern updates and a Pico footprint!

The 50s era gave birth to an iconic sound in which a single, short delay was utilized to add depth and rhythmic effect on countless recordings. The newly reissued all-analog design of the EHX Slap-Back Echo delivers this beloved classic sound and more in a Pico-sized pedalboard-friendly package. With three delay time settings and up to +20dB of boost, the Slap-Back Echo can achieve subtle doubling effects to intense bathroom reflections all with the distinct flavor of bucket-brigade (BBD) circuitry.

Housed in EHX's Pico-sized chassis, the Slap-Back Echo features Gain and Blend knobs as well as a Time switch. The Gain knob controls the input signal before the echo circuit and also adjusts the overall volume at the output with a boost of up to +20dB. The Blend knob mixes the dry signal and the echo signal from 100% dry to 100% echo. The Time switch selects between three different delay times: 45ms, 65ms, and 100ms.

Four independent modulation sections:

The heart of the pedal is its four, independent modulation sections synced in time, they are:

MOD features great sounding EHX Vibrato, Flanger, Chorus or Phaser. The Depth knob lets you set the amount of the effect while Feedback controls the resonance of the Flanger and Phaser.

TREM delivers tremolo, an effect that modulates the volume of your signal. The Depth control sets tremolo intensity.

PAN modulates between left and right in stereo operation. In mono operation the PAN section acts as another tremolo section, but with the wave shapes all inverted!

FILTER offers a choice of a modulated LPF, HPF or BPF. In LPF (low pass filter) frequencies above a modulated cut-off point are cut. In HPF (high pass filter) frequencies below a modulated cut-off point are cut, and in BPF (band pass filter) frequencies above and below a modulated centre point are cut.

Each section also features a choice of four LFO shape options: rising sawtooth, triangle, falling sawtooth or square wave. They affect the way the modulation transitions and provide advanced creative control over the specific section as well as the way they interact with each other.

Tempo control that's flexible and powerful:

The MOD REX delivers virtually limitless polyrhythmic possibilities.

Its TEMPO component gives you nine note-length choices for each of the four modulation sections. They are independently selectable in increments starting at a whole note and ranging thru subdivisions that go up to a 16th note. In addition, any of the sections can be bypassed.

The MOD REX's tempo (displayed as beats per minute or BPM) is adjustable with the Tempo knob, Tap Tempo footswitch or by using an expression pedal into its EXP input. It can also be synced to an external device with MIDI Clock or an external pulse clock.

MIDI and the MOD REX:

The pedal's robust MIDI implementation enables you to sync devices quickly and easily as well as automate functions and changes so they occur precisely when and where you want them whether you are working at home, in a studio or live.

The MOD REX accepts MIDI to enable it to tempo sync the modulation rate with an external device, to recall presets via MIDI Program Change messages and to control any parameter on the MOD REX via Control Change messages.

The circa-1980 Electro-Harmonix Attack Decay is a sought after prize among vintage pedal aficionados. Originally called a Tape Reverse Simulator, it's known for producing volume and reverse swells, backward tape sounds, artificially short staccato notes and bowed instrument effects. The freshly designed EHX Attack Decay reinterprets the classic and keeps its cool factor, but adds some modern features for convenience and enhanced functionality.

It can produce a single volume envelope like the original, or, with Poly engaged, put separate volume envelopes on each note you play. The built-in Harmonix fuzz is now a fully controllable distortion with gain, tone and volume controls. The effects loop allows the musician or sound designer to place the volume envelope onto whatever signal is present at the Return jack. Expression pedal/CV input and three user presets give the user total control over their Attack Decay!

The EHX Nano Overlord is switchable between two modes: Normal and Boost. Normal mode provides low to medium gain sounds and relies on three amp-like JFET gain stages. When Boost mode is engaged it's like adding a pedal-type OD circuit in front of the JFET stages to really increase overall distortion. The pedal also features a Dry blend control which is invaluable for bass and keyboards, a 3-position input level selector switch and an active 3-band EQ.

Notes: The EHX 5MM Guitar Power Amplifier is a pocket-sized power amp that’s a great alternative to a traditional guitar amplifier. It’s super portable and perfect in playing situations where a high-powered amp is not required… like when you’re mic’d on stage, in the studio or as a backup. It produces 2.5 watts so one of the cool things about it is that it doesn’t take much to start getting some nice drive and saturation. Plus, it can be connected directly to any 8 O – 16 O speaker cabinet.

The 5MM is complete simplicity. It features a Volume control and a Bright switch which, when engaged, adds presence to the signal. Since it is a power amp, a preamp, overdrive pedal and, or an EQ in front of it will really let you dial in your tone, but it can be used by itself. The 5MM Power Amplifier also comes equipped with its own power supply.

NOTE: Compatible expression inputs must accept a voltage source as the controlling signal.
