It's been almost seven years since the last single from Japanese duo Traks Boys, making this return to Prins Thomas' Internasjonal label long overdue. Happily, it's arguably the production pair's strongest release to date. The A-side boasts two new treats: the thrillingly choppy and thrusting, off-kilter warehouse roller "Be With U", where vocal stabs, jumpy riffs and starry synth lines ride a bustling groove, and the gorgeously sunny Balearic house climax that is sunrise-friendly title track "Weekend Lights". On the flip, Axel Boman remixes the latter track, turning in a meandering, loose and gently melodious interpretation that bubbles away for 13 spellbinding minutes.
