Spanning a mammoth period from 1987 to 2011, Claussell includes no break clause here, this being the sixth in what is set to be an enlarged, at least ten-parter series. 'Lose It' and 'Madu' counterpose each other through a stiletto'd disco edit and a Central African call-and-response respectively; then 'Man Obea' and 'Wars Of Love' mirror this movement in the opposite direction, serving respectively a raspy firedance, then a final glamorous shebang of wah, rhythm bass and crash. These tracks make up but a small part in Classell's towering pile of edits, each of which take on totemic lives of their own, beyond the style's usual reanimatory magic.
