Reissued a whopping 12 years after its initial release, Fools Gold remind us once more of Duck Sauce's existence. Aside from their unforgettable kitsch dance earworm 'Barbra Streisand' - arguably the only dance hit ever to use the name of a famous actress as its sole lyrical makeup and still work as a chart-smasher - the lesser-known collaboration of A-Trak and Armand Van Helden are also responsible for a string of somatic responses in the veins of classic disco and fidgety French house. 'Anyway' is much deeper and disco-technical than their bigger and better-known tracks would suggest, cleverly a working a brushing shuffle around a well-sped disco sample. Low Steppa here brings a modern Chicagoan domestic doppler to the new wax edition.
