Notes: Extremely versatile signal routing is the name of the game here. Eight inputs and eight outputs are connected via the matrix, allowing you to route and mix audio, CV, triggers and gates via the buttons.

Like four 4x4 Switch Matrix set side by side, the Discrete Isoline Summation Matrix is a true matrix mixer powerhouse, a mad dream and an science experiment gone too far all in one.

As the name implies, the unit contains eight individual inputs and outputs, all of which can be individually routed by way of the isolinear switch matrix on the front panel. Inputs are arranged in rows, while outputs are assigned to columns, making it easy and intuitive to quickly route any given input to any given output. All inputs and outputs are individually buffered, and each mechanical switch offers both tactile and visual feedback in the form of a soft, audible click as well as a connected LED turning on or off to indicate the state of the current junction.

Like it's predecessor, the 4x4 Switch Matrix, the Discrete Isoline Summation Matrix is a DC coupled summing mixer, allowing both CV and audio to be mixed interally, with virtuous or disastrous results.. Finally, the unit is compact at only 28hp, and pairs perfectly with the Qatt quad attenuator, Stum quad mute and 180- quad inverter for greater control over your inputs and outputs.

You already know what you are going to be doing with this - whether your plan is to mix an ungodly amount of CV, create an incredible amount of new trigger patterns, have a massive FX routing setup, or some manner of unspeakable matrix mixer situation on your hands, you will be armed to the teeth with the Discrete Isoline Summation Matrix.

Notes: Solist is not your average performance mixer and mute combination - far from it. Designed in collaboration with Bries, Solist contains four channels of soft vactrol muting, controlled by tactile and pleasantly clicky mechanical switches. Solist will help make your performances shine - but most importantly, the red solo switches allow you to override the current state of the mute switches, allowing for creative transitions between solo and mute states during your performance.

While the audio circuit is fully analogue, it is also entirely isolated from the digital circuit that controls the mutes. Running on a fast and reliable Raspberry Pi RP2040, you get all the benefits of digital control without the downsides of digital audio processing. Best of all, the mechanical state of the switches determine the state of the module, so even if you power cycle, you will return to your previous state.

The analogue mixer section can be used simultaneously with the individual outputs of the Solist, so for those who already have a mixer solution, the buffered individual outputs will bypass the mixer entirely. You may of course also use both simultaneously for exciting parallel processing opportunities.

Solist brings a whole new aspect of muting and soloing to your Eurorack performances, and with soft opening and closing vactrols, you'll never have to worry about clicks, truncated transients or actuation noise.

Notes: Introducing the Cortisol Legend: a spiritual successor to one of my early designs, the Steroid Legend, it presents as 4hp of white hot saturation and hairy distortion, and features manual control over two op-amp driven gain stages, with a diode saturation control in the middle, giving you precise control over distortion ranging from smoldering saturation all the way into utter rail-to-rail fuzzification.

As for the diodes, the Cortisol Legend has two flavors on tap: Steroid Legend-inspired diodes and genuine, Cold War-era USSR-made Germanium diodes from the far reaches of Europe. These diodes are getting increasingly hard to find, but have been known for their warm and fuzzy characteristics by guitar pedal enthusiasts for years. Here, you get the genuine article, for as long as they can be reliably sourced.

In addition to having control over the saturation depth, the Cortisol Legend offers an additional control parameter: Eustress and Distress. Roll off the edge and noise a bit with a Styroflex-capacitor filter which varies with saturation depth, or leave no edge unjagged with this setting.

Speaking of noise, this thing is LOUD, so you may want to have an attenuator such as the psATT on hand, unless of course the loudness is exactly what you want. Hand in hand with the overdrive and distortion comes, of course, beautiful new harmonics added to anything from single waveforms to samples, sounds and entire mixes.

Various diodes will be available at different times, but all variants are ultimately limited - all Germanium diodes used in these are new old stock from the Cold War, and one day they will run out.. Expect individual modules to have a bit of their own character.

Drawing inspiration from the MMI Maxima, the MMI Helios is intended as a middle ground between the gestural control surface of the Maxima and the fingertip control of the smaller MMI.

Less density, but a much higher degree of patch control is the key point of the Helios, which complements other MMI devices very well, and can be joined with other Helios (Helii?) to form larger and creative control surfaces.

The design is greatly simplified compared to the original MMI, with only two I/O jacks - either can function as input and output, and their interaction with each other is determined by touching both plates simultaneously to form a connection, or in cooperation with other MMI devices.

Available in a "right" and "left" version - one is an exact mirror image of the other, which makes it suitable for having two units adjacent to one another.

Notes: Operation of the Astra is both simple and straightforward - the large touch panel on the front will respond gradually to soft and firm touches, making it easy to inject some human feeling into your compositions.

Being fully analogue, the controller uses an internal vactrol and slew rate limiter to make it easy for you to create smooth transitions - when used without an input, the MMI Astra uses an internal 5v source as the basis of its signal, allowing you to easily generate complex CV to control other modules, in order to create intermittent filter sweeps, resonance peaks and much more.

By using the input, you can route in both CV and audio to destinations of your choosing, attenuating and amplifying by varying pressure and position on the touch plate. Easily introduce LFOs, create huge reverb or volume swells, or intermittently introduce fading soundscapes as you play.

The front facing LED gives you immediate visual feedback on the status of the module as you play, making it easy to control the MMI Astra. It's the MMI you've wanted for years, finally made real.

Notes: The Pivot is a simple module, dedicated to doing one thing really well: panning and balancing.

The long and smoothly controlled fader makes it easy to strike the right balance between the input and the two outputs, which continuously share each their portion of the input signal. With input buffering and a dual-gang potentiometer, the signal for one channel will fully close at either extreme end and perform with perfect consistency when you need it most.

Use it for panning, wet/dry control, transitioning between different audio or CV destinations - or even just as an attenuator in a pinch. The Pivot isn't the most complicated panner and balance mixer on the market, but rock solid build quality, design and component choices make it a reliable companion in any performance setup.

Notes: For once, there isn't much to say - what you see is exactly what you get. Four passive attenuators, in 4hp. Perhaps the most useful utility in any system, and here, you get four of them! Fully open, fully closed, or somewhere in between, Qatt will put your signal exactly where you want it to be.

Notes: What's that I hear? You want grit and filth for your system? Tired of not having enough harmonics in your signal? Maybe all your sounds are a bit too cold and sterile?

Why not a light inside your system with the Optika VCA - two independent optical VCAs with drunken muscles and a chip on their shoulder, they can go nice and easy on your signal, or they can inject it with a hot dose of raw power that'll give you guitar-face in no time.

The vactrols? Hand made in my workshop, of course, guaranteed cruelty-free, no dolphins harmed and zero palm oil. The sound? You'll get that slewy, chewy, turn-your-triggers-into-envelopes mess that you love vactrols for, but with the utmost care taken to minimize bleed and all the other things we don't always love about vactrols.

Yes, great, you've got lots of VCAs with "clean gain on tap" and "exemplary responsiveness" and all that other stuff - please excuse me if I'm yawning with utter boredom and rolling my eyes- now, get yourself a fully analog optical VCA that'll make your hairs stand on end when you push the gain into distortion and press the vactrol into saturation.

Use it for stereo, use it for two signals, use both channels in sequence, but please let your signals go towards the light and put it to use! Don't make me beg
