Notes: The PRO-SOLO Mk3 converts MIDI data into CV- gate and clock signals. The operation is easy and clear, settings can be saved in non-volatile memory. High-resolution 16-Bit converters provide accurate tracking and fast response. 1V/oct and Hz/V characteristics are possible as well as normal gate and Switched Trigger (S-Trig).

The unit features two CV- and one gate output, additionally there's an analogue clock output. MIDI thru socket can also be used as DIN-Sync output or it can output two additional voltages with a special cable. MIDI synched LFO.

Notes: Receives MIDI data from a single MIDI OUT (e.g. sequencer or master keyboard) and produces identical copies at the 25 MIDI THRU sockets. These can then be connected to the MIDI INs of sound modules or other devices which require MIDI signals sent to them.

Notes: The MIDI Solutions Footswitch Controller provides a 1/4" phone jack input for connection to a footswitch or contact closure which can be used to trigger MIDI events (for eight footswitch inputs in a single rack space unit, see the MIDI Solutions F8). Triggered MIDI events are merged with incoming MIDI messages and sent to the MIDI output of the Footswitch Controller.

Triggered event types are programmable and include: Note, Control Change, Pitch Bend, Program Change, Start/Stop, System Exclusive

Other functions include: Program Change INC/DEC, Rechannelize, Transpose, Tap Tempo, Note-on Filter

MIDI Echo and Footswitch Toggle parameters are selectable on/off.

The Polarity of the footswitch can be determined automatically on power-up, or programmed to normally-open or normally-closed.

The Footswitch Controller is programmed by sending it MIDI System Exclusive messages (see FAQs - Programming). This can be done easily with the Processors Programming Tools software. Once programmed, its settings are retained even after power is removed. The Footswitch Controller can be reprogrammed with new settings as often as needed.

The Footswitch Controller is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most MIDI products (see FAQs - Power and FAQs - LED for more information). A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.

Notes: Merges the data from up to eight separate MIDI sources (e.g. master keyboards, controllers, computers etc.) into a single MIDI data stream which appears at both the MIDI out sockets. Merges all MIDI data including MIDI Clock, MIDI time code and SysEx (see the manual for merging rules). Can also be configured as two completely independent 4 into 1 mergers with the simple press of a recessed button (see manual for details).

Notes: Another typically creative offering from the good people at Soma, the Metaconformer is a MIDI router and thru box with some nice touches, including Combiner mode to join monophonic instruments into one big polyphonic patch.

METACONFORMER is a smart MIDI router and thru box.

The METACONFORMER has 2 independent MIDI inputs and 4 MIDI outputs. One of the outputs can be configured as a sync signal source.

Today METACONFORMER supports 3 modes of processing MIDI messages:

Splitter mode allows you to split the keyboard of one MIDI channel into several zones. Notes from each zone are sent to only one instrument. This allows you to simultaneously play several instruments at once, listen to the interaction of timbres without having to switch the MIDI channel.

Combiner mode allows you to combine several monophonic instruments into one multitimbral polyphonic instrument. This works the same way as a polyphonic synthesizer's algorithm when it activates its voices. Only instead of voices with the same dynamics and parameters, you can play completely different timbres, which greatly expands the possibilities for creating interesting harmonies and rhythms.

Translator mode allows you to play the sound core parameter by pressing notes. Each received note is translated into a CC message corresponding to the desired parameter. This mode allows you to play with sound parameters, rather than simply enter them by rotating the knob. This mode works great with granular delays, resonant filters and paraphonic oscillators.
