Notes: The Expression Slider HK is a portable fader for use with any pedal or device that has a regular expression input.

Featuring artwork created by the OKC art duo Holey Kids, one half of which also works at the brand's Oklahoma headquarters, this new version is perfectly dressed up to fit in with the latest pedals in the OBNE's Utility series.

Expression Slider HK is a fader for use with any pedal that has an Old Blood style expression input. It is built for convenience and tactile experience, allowing external control where you need it - on the desk of your studio, velcroed to a guitar strap, or wherever else a TRS cable allows.

This device uses a TRS jack with tip connected to the wiper of a 50K slider, and ring and sleeve connected to the other terminals. It works with all Old Blood pedals as well as pedals from Chase Bliss, Meris, Earthquaker Devices, Empress, Montreal Assembly, Red Panda, Strymon, EHX, and more.

No power is needed, simply use a TRS cable to plug the Expression Slider HK into the Expression input and use the slider as you would a knob or expression pedal. This really can give additional creative control to all sorts of pedals and other devices that have expression control, plus may also add functionality to some products that may have other options not directly accessible from the front panel or are hidden in menus etc.

Strap it to your mic stand to adjust your favourite setting without bending down, keep it at your studio console to control a parameter while tracking, use the indicators to mark your favourite settings or simply replace a knob control with a slider because let's face it, sliders are cool!

PLUS 3 is designed for musicians who prefer compact desktop control of features accessible via the sustain and expression jacks of their instruments, as opposed to using their feet or bulky sustain and expression pedals on their desk.

PLUS 3 includes a high-quality fader for expressive performance and automation, a momentary sustain key, and an innovative "drone mode" toggle switch, which lets you free your hands and hold notes indefinitely. In drone mode, the momentary key's functionality changes, to let you swap droned notes with new ones.

PLUS 3 is totally passive, meaning it doesn't require any power to work. It's made of aluminium, so it's sturdy, light, and portable. Its sustain key is based on standard mechanical keyboard-style keys, so you can customize it and swap the key out to make the pedal your own with your key of choice.

Capabilities PLUS 3's sustain side unlocks for instruments with a sustain jack, subject to the instruments capabilities are among other:

A momentary sustain button for instruments that don't have a dedicated physical sustain control (most don't!)

A dedicated drone/hold/arp latch switch for instruments that don't have one (many don't!). It's important to note that even if an instrument has a hold button, its sustain jack may unlock additional functionality or behaviour (for example, a button that simply holds notes does not cause Piano VSTs to resonate sympathetic strings in the way using sustain does.

Momentary and toggle control of any parameter mappable in your DAW synth's mod matrix/menu system, or effect pedal (for example, sostenuto, a freeze effect, dry/wet bypass, swapping presets, etc)

PLUS 3 is particularly useful for adding an expressive physical fader to MIDI controllers that don't already have faders, but have an expression jack (for example, Native Instruments Kontrol MK3, or M32; or Korg's KeyStage).

Use PLUS 3's fader for direct access and expressive control of any single parameter mappable in your DAW, effects pedal or synth in ways not possible with a regular keyboard (for example, bowing a violin, an orchestral swell, fine tuning a track's level in the mix)

For DAWs, synths with a mod matrix or effect pedals with expression jack mapping capabilities (e.g. many Chase Bliss, Boss, EHX pedals, and the GHOST and GOLDEN MASTER pedals), use PLUS 3's fader as a macro control to change multiple parameters at once - almost similar to preset morphing, based on your instruments ability to map its expression input to multiple parameters

Notes: The EarthQuaker Devices Passive ABY box is the perfect solution if you can't decide when and where you would like your signal to go. In its most basic form, this passive little box is commonly used to run a single input out to two destinations and lets you choose between using either individually or both at the same time.

The most common problem an ABY is used to solve, is one input being sent to out to two amplifiers, but it doesn't have to stop there! Because of its completely passive circuitry, Passive ABY can also be used in reverse to choose between two inputs to a single output. Use it to simultaneously run two different instruments to one source input. An oboe and a bass, a keyboard and a harmonica, a lute and a modular synth... you know, whatever!

This compact little device has a small footprint, won't take up much real estate on your board and is built using high quality parts that will withstand years of use and keep going.

Notes: A buffer is an important tool to combat tone loss with long cable runs or in signal chains running lots of true bypass pedals. With its high 1 M ohm input impedance and low 100 ohm output impedance, the EarthQuaker Devices Buffer/Preamp will restore your tonal integrity, to give you back the clear and dynamic signal you deserve and your amp craves.

Want more? Not only will Buffer/Preamp restore high end loss, this device has a little trick up its sleeve that will also give your low end a subtle, yet powerful, little kick for some added dimension. While it is commonplace to add a buffer at the beginning of the signal chain, we find this to best at the end for optimum results. That said, it'll work great anywhere you decide to place it. For best results, make sure the EarthQuaker Devices Buffer/Preamp is placed AFTER any fuzz pedals that typically like to see the guitar at their input.

Notes: The EarthQuaker Devices A/B Box is a simple tiny tool that lets you choose between two of pretty much anything. Because of its completely passive design, there is no circuitry between the input and outputs which means it can be used in both directions. Use it to switch between two amps, switch between two channels on a multi-channel amp, use it as tuner out/mute switch, run a dry path and a wet path or even switch between two instruments!
