Alex Font - "Keep Moving" (6:24)
Kyle&Sam - "Chapter 36" (6:14)
Altarf & Backhauser - "Yeah" (5:58)
Dumi & Nopau - "Time Measurements" (6:29)
Review: The good early work of the Third Stream label carries on with this seventh missive and it's a various artists affair featuring some top talent. Alex Font gets things underway with 'Keep Moving', which is aloof, rolling minimal tech defined by a billowing lead which does what it wants. Kyle&Sam's 'Chapter 36' is an ice-cold and deft, steel-plated tech cut a la Melchior's best and Altarf & Backhauser -keep the synthetic, abstract aesthetic going with their occult machine whirs and loopy drum funk on 'Yeah.' Dumi & Nopau's 'Time Measurements' is like a long-lost Ricardo Villalobos cut from his most famous album.

Act Of Resistance

In Your Orbit
Natural Order
Review: Irish-born, Manchester-based artist Kerrie returns to James Ruskin's Blueprint label with her third outing for the label, continuing her evolution through weighty, precision-built techno. A fixture of the UK scene and now a resident at Berlin's Tresor, Kerrie draws on her background in record store culture and over a decade of hardware experimentation to forge tracks that are both rigorous and emotionally charged. 'Act Of Resistance' pairs dub-soaked atmospheres with serrated industrial textures, while 'Validation' rides a more urgent, tunnelling pulse. Flip it for the paranoid spirals of 'In Your Orbit' and the slow-burner 'Natural Order', each anchored by detail-rich production and layered groove. Rooted in classic hardware sensibilities but driven by a personal, future-facing vision, this is heady, unrelenting techno with purpose.

Kragg - "Shifton" (3:55)
Kragg - "Lazarus" (3:56)
Kragg - "Midsummer Night Dream" (4:04)
RTR - "Tipping-point" (4:44)
RTR - "NPK Ending" (4:31)
RTR - "Squer" (4:11)
Review: French producers, Kragg and RTR, split the difference between shadowy electro and jacked-up machine funk on this split release, each taking a side to show their teeth. Kragg opens with 'Shifton', a stomping cut with sizzling percussion and greyscale synth stabs, before veering into the eerie with 'Lazarus' i all twitchy arps and submerged bass i and the brittle shimmer of 'Midsummer Night Dream', which tugs the record into more introspective territory. Over on the flip, RTR brings a tauter, more acidic focus: 'Tipping-Point' spirals with tight 303 curls, while 'Npk Ending' builds an emotional weight out of melancholic pads and broken-beat rhythms. Closer 'Squer' cuts loose with thick, wet squelch and a rolling groove that sticks hard. It's a smartly sequenced release i raw, yes, but refined in structure i and a promising debut for this new label.

Review: Mukatsuku celebrates its 100th release on vinyl with two tracks lifted from the excellent, Japanese-only long player Message From A New Dawn from Kyoto Jazz Massive, recently celebrating their 30th year anniversary of production and releases. Both tracks here are given full versions and their own side of wax for extra loud play and have been highlights of the ongoing live sets around the world from the outfit. KJM present their vision of the ultimate crossover electric jazz fusion and it all adds up to a fresh take on their iconic sound, crafted to push boundaries and inspire the future of nu jazz.

Pinky Ann Rihal - "Tere Liye" (Turbotito & Ragz rework) (5:51)
Asha Puthli - "Our Love Is Making Me Sing" (Black Devil Disco club remix) (4:04)
Review: Naya Beat, the LA reissues and reworks label gathering and recasting some of the most delicious sounds of the South Asian diaspora, gathers some of its standout digital-era reworks onto vinyl for the first time, offering a vibrant cross-section of global disco, house and experimental editry from its roster. At the centre is a brand-new reimagining of Asha Puthli's 'Our Love Is Making Me Sing' by Bernard Fevre, better known as Black Devil Disco Club, who brings to the fore his signature moody synth atmospheres. Also included is a pulsating disco mix of Pinky Ann Rihal's 'Party Tonight' by Turbotito & Ragz, already spun by the likes of CC:DISCO and Barry Can't Swim. JKriv then twists RD Burman's 'Birth of Shiva' into a house stomper laced with bansuri and squelching bass, while Daniel T. transforms 'Zindagi To Zindagi Hai' into a dubbed-out Bollywood journey.

Raag Megh - Madhya Khayal In Jhaptal (10:13)
Raag Megh - Tarana In Teental (15:17)
Review: Black Truffle presents a rare 1974 live recording of Pakistani vocalist Salamat Ali Khan here. He is a master of the kyhal style in Hindustani classical music, and this was captured at Berlin's MetaMusik festival. In it, Khan's performance of Raag Megh unfolds across three distinct tempos that cook up meditative calm with fiery improvisation. Accompanied by tabla and harmonium and uniquely using an alpine zither, the trio crafts a hypnotic, weightless soundscape that tends to emphasise silence and pulse over traditional drones. The LP features striking black-and-white photos and liner notes by musicologist Peter Pannke who helps to capture the transcendent power and spirit of this historic concert.
