Review: If you're someone who craves a little underground mystique and some grit and grain in their deep tech house, you might well want to check the latest transmission from the shadowy oge collective. On the A-side, 'Contemporanea Mente' gets into a tricky, blippy strain of minimal tech house which opens up beautifully once the classic chords come drifting into the mix. 'Mazzone' summons a vintage early 90s flavour, but there's an inherent weirdness to the processing and sampling which makes this a cut above the average garage house revival joint. 'Mouse Liar' opens up the B-side with a boxy strain of electro steeped in starry-eyed synthesis, which Anania promptly twists up into mystical tripper par excellence.

Review: Welsh label OGE are at the forefront of the headsier side of the UK's minimal tech scene, and here they serve up a white label comp full of tunes by an unknown, unnamed label signee, keeping things misty and fresh. All the tracks from the A to the D, 'Prisoners Of The Sun' to 'Dubnosois', are mad techy lucid dreams, blending budding beat grooves with ruminating washes of synth and toothy, arpy ponderances

Review: OGE is a leading outlet for lovers of white hot, white label minimal. They turn out the tunes at a decent rate of knots and on this third EP of the year the in house team once again impress. 'Weird Situation' is a nice smooth 90s tech house groove with subtle, balmy pads and crispy drums and snares. 'Calamaro's Face' has majestic bleeps and beeps and a super nice melodic baseline that takes you on a joyous ride. 'Background Flour' is jacked up and bumping with again with lush chords softening the edges and last of all 'Southern Breeze' is a lovely off-balance rhythm with silky chords, deft vocals and atmospheric vocals.

Review: OGE White come through with not one but two new slices of minimal goodness this month, and as ever it's the in house production team who are at the buttons. There is a playfulness to the smattering of toms, kicks and keys of the opener that feels fresh and airy. The outdoorsy vibes continue on 'Lite Feet' with its warm chords and silvery drums and then 'Percalist' layers up bells, harmonies and xylophones into a lively number that again brings light to any set. Last of all, the crew can't resist a bit of heads down and shady tackle on 'Strokaim.'

Review: You can't beat a bit of hand stamped, vinyl only, white label minimal techno when it comes to knowing dance floors, and OGE now serve up a seventh such slab of wax. There is a bubbling bassline and softness to the hi hats of 'Contrapoint Y' that immediately brings the vibes, then 'Where I'm' disorientates with its swimming pads, icy claps and drawn out synth smears before the flappy kick eventually mark lift off proper. 'Sass' is perfectly dry, expertly reduced minimal house that is absolute late night bait and 'Heads Down' is the sort of undulating, freaky tech house that Craig Richards feeds off.

Review: OGE White is pretty much already a buy on site label for those who like their minimal classy and deep. This is their fifth EP in 12 months and after the slippery and seductive open comes a celebratory tune that teases until it pleases when a big vocal bursts out of the perfectly reduced bass and synths. Track 3 is another perfect pairing of expertly designed minimal grooves and a choice vocal sample that brings the soul. That fine trick is reputed again on the final cut, which has a recognisable melody line all chopped up and reworks to fry your brain.

Review: Like its parent label, Oge's "White" series serves up regular missives of deep house/tech-house fusion with no hint as to the identity of the producer (or producers) behind the showcased tracks. We've no idea as to who made this EP, but we can confirm that it's well worth a listen. Opener "Neither" boasts dub house bass, rolling tech-tinged deep house grooves, spacey electronics and the kind of enveloping chords more regularly found on ambient records. "Liquid Luck" is a slightly more bustling chunk of warm and woozy tech-house-funk, while "Ascension" sees or shadowy hero (or heroes) make merry with cut-up synth-funk bass, East End Dubz style beats and some suitably alien electronics. Closing cut "Movement", meanwhile, offers a deeper early morning take on the European tech-house sound.

Review: Welsh label OGE welcomes two new tracks from friend and mainstay Vincentiulian, whose brand of shuffly tech (on close listen) melds many a dubby layer and subdued pulse between the beats. 'Asid' is a backroom party-starter, equal parts breathable and 303-driven, while 'Equal' roots for fairer dancefloors via echoic stab-shouts, strange vocal samples, and tactile low ends. In a move we've not seen a label do before, there's even a 'starter' track pushed by the label to set the tone.
