As well as some bug fixes, this firmware update will add two more play modes to the unit: a looper and a slicer. The Loop mode allows you to record a loop of up to 16 beats, play patterns during that recording and have the Timetosser loop that, or remix a recorded loop like you would do in the original Live mode. The Slicer mode allows you to make slices of a recorded loop and play those slices on top of the live audio in MPC style. Overall a very quick and easy way to make live samples of your ongoing audio.

Next to that, Alter Audio have added a full set of new preset patterns which auto-remix your music by adding in a bit of beat shuffling, some nice offbeat timings and drop in the odd mute and reverse within the pattern.

Nice to know: The update brings Apple silicon support for the Mac version of the VST3 plugin as well.

How does it work?

Standalone - Use the tap-tempo key to tap in sync with the music. From this, Timetosser learns the length of 1/4, 1/8 and 1/16 notes, as well as their triplets.

MIDI IN - Another option is to sync to midi-clock. By connecting the supplied mini-jack to DIN-5 adapter cable to the sync input, Timetosser is able to synchronise to an incoming midi-clock signal.

Analog Gate - The sync input also supports analog gate voltages. To use analog gate sync, just connect a standard mono mini-jack cable to the sync input directly.

MIDI OUT - Having both a MIDI-input and output means these will be usable from within your DAW software when Timetosser is connected to your computer. But the true advantage comes when Timetosser is used in standalone-mode. Since Timetosser detects the tempo of the incoming audio, the MIDI-output can be used to send out that tempo. This means you can synchronise your MIDI-gear and have them play in time with anything you feed into Timetosser. We're very excited about the possibilities this brings: blur the lines between deejaying and live performing by having synths and drum machines play alongside your tracks!

By pressing any of the keys of the upper row, the player basically selects a delay that is a multiple of the selected note length. By playing patterns using the upper keys , we can keep changing the delay time in a way that we can repeat a note, or change the order of the music entirely.

Besides being a standalone device, Timetosser can also be connected to your computer. This way, it becomes a USB MIDI interface and controller for the Timetosser audio plugin (VST & AU).

Timetosser's firmware can be upgraded through USB with the application that is downloadable from the support page.

The audio plugin is a virtual Timetosser that can be dropped as an effect on an audio track in your DAW. One of up to eight plugin instances can be selected and controlled from the hardware unit.

The HS Series embodies the design philosophy on which Yamaha has long insisted for its studio monitors, and is now available as a special paired model that uses selected volume parts. The new VC-E2 is a new compact record cleaning machine with completely new, superior features. Vinyl records need a specific maintenance. The dry brush cleaning before playing the record is good to roughly remove dust. To effectively clean the grooves, you need to wet clean the record.

To achieve the perfect cleaning, we also need a suitable cleaning fluid. Alcoholic cleaning fluids can destroy musical micro information of the grooves. That's the reason Pro-Ject designed a new eco-friendly non-alcoholic cleaning fluid called "Wash it 2". The new Wash it 2 is a pre-mixed liquid, so you don't have to dilute the concentrate yourself anymore. This avoids accidentally

The importance of cleaning your vinyl records

Many people associate vinyl records with hearing "pops" and "clicks". In part, this is the charm of the medium but it should not get over the top of course. Unless your vinyl has scratches, these pops and clicks are caused by dust and dirt that has been collected in the grooves. Also, contamination by air pollution from the traffic outside, cooking fat, grease and tobacco smoke can cause a tough film to form on the surface of the record. Sometimes even moulds and fungi are present if the records have been stored for a prolonged period of time in a humid environment. If you play a dirty record, the stylus will scrape part of this dirt off the groove and this causes a thick build-up of grime on the stylus. The Tonar Wash & Dry is an all-in-one solution to clean your records in the most easy way. The set includes a high quality goat hair brush, concentrate for one litre of cleaning fluid, a special stainless steel record clamp with rubber rings to protect the label during washing, and a dust-cover. With just one single button, you can control the direction of the rotation of the platter (clockwise or counter clockwise), and activate the vacuum arm. The Reloop Flux is a next-generation USB-C interface for using Serato DJ Pro with turntables, CDJs or other media players. The interface boasts superior audio qualities, a well-designed operating concept and a club-ready design. It can transform any conventional mixer into a professional digital vinyl system.

Maximum flexibility

Three stereo inputs provide DJs with maximum flexibility. Turntables, CDJs and similar can be used in any combination. The settings are adjusted using discreet DIP switches, which virtually eliminates any chance of accidental switching in the club. The interface includes three stereo outputs, including an AUX out that can be routed to Serato's internal sampler. Gold-plated, corrosion-resistant RCA jacks ensure high-quality audio transmission.

Full control

The Flux provides the best possible routing overview thanks to clearly visible signal flow LEDs for all inputs and outputs and a Thru status indicator. Connection status (hub, PD, DC) LED indicators on the top of the interface provide additional control options. The Direct Thru buttons on the top of the interface enable you to quickly and easily activate and disable Thru mode, which allows connected turntables and CDJs to be used conventionally. Navigation through the Serato software is no longer necessary.

Hub inside

The Flux includes a built-in 2-port USB-A hub for connecting MIDI controllers and other USB accessories. Aside from the expanded connection options, the hub reduces potential connection faults in a busy club environment by keeping the setup connected even without the laptop.

Studio quality - anytime, anywhere

The Flux offers studio quality in the club and wherever it's needed with 24-bit/96 kHz, high-quality digital/analogue converters and ultra-low latency. For this reason, it's a superior DVS interface which could also be used as an audio interface in the studio.

Always powered

The Flux is bus-powered by a computer, so there's minimal wiring required for audio and power cables. The DVS interface can also be powered by external power sources through the USB-C DC input, allowing turntables and CDJs to be used in Thru mode even without a computer connected. The Flux's second USB-C port provides Power Delivery support for other USB-C devices (max. 60 W), such as a MacBook.
