Review: Green Day's American Idiot is the much-loved band's seminal 2004 album, capturing the perennial angst and disillusionment of a generation, currently enjoying its 20th birthday although its politically charged punk rock remaining as relevant as ever. This anniversary edition enriches the original with unreleased demos, live performances, and alternate takes to offer a deeper insight into the album's creation. Tracks like 'Holiday' and 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' still resonate, while the added material highlights the band's creative process.

Review: Celebrating its 30-year anniversary with a monolithic deluxe edition, Green Day's Dookie has gone on to become one of the cornerstones of pop-punk, pre-dating Blink-182 with its global expansion. Spawning timeless anthems such as 'Basket Case', 'Longview' and pop smash hit 'When I Come Around'; the album signalled the artistic prowess and bright future the band have continued to live up to in the decades since. Complete with 17 previously unreleased demos, studio outtakes and both their Woodstock 1994 and unreleased Barcelona 1994 live performances, as well as a 36-page book cataloguing the creative journey of these formative years, this 6xLP beast is not for the faint of heart but for the devout and avid legions of generation spanning followers the trio still continue to amass to this day.

Review: The Ramones are one of those bands that everyone agrees on, to some extent, before disagreeing. Such was their career trajectory. Unanimously, the first three albums - 1976's Ramones, 77's Leave Home, and Road to Ruin (1978) - were all bonafide 20th Century works of wonder. End of the Century, which landed as the decades switched over, is where views start to divide. As such this collection of their LPs from the next ten years, or so, may not immediately jump out and grab everyone.

That's a real shame, and hopefully this package, which is the first time these records have been reissued on vinyl, will go some way towards making people remember exactly how good the vast majority if their 80s output was. Pleasant Dreams, Subterranean Jungle, and Too Tough To Die are exceptional outings that are guaranteed to put you off whatever it is you're listening to from this millennium. Throw in Animal Boy, Halfway to Sanity, Brain Drain and Still More Stuff, the latter itself a retrospective of unreleased bits from this era, and we think this is a real punk winner.
