Lucy and Speedy J join forces as Zeitgeber for this self titled album through the former's Stroboscopic Artefacts label. Lucy's gradual shift towards more experimental sounds as both a producer and label boss seems to have pricked the ears of Speedy J, aka Jochem Paap, with the iconic Dutch techno producer inviting his Italian counterpart to work on a collaborative project - the results on this eight track LP speak for themselves. Together, the individual styles of each producer are represented well but there's a definite sense that Paap and Mortellaro are pushing themselves too with the results much more than your traditional techno LP, instead it's an advancement on the avant-garde approach Lucy was pushing on last year's Banality Of Evil EP.
