The Soul Is Back (remixes) vinyl

Fabrice Lig must be having a nice old summer. Fine Art have released a superlative album from the Belgian, people are falling over themselves to heap praise on his 12" for R&S and now Third Ear get in on the game. Dipping into their archives, the UK imprint pick out "The Soul Is Back" from Evolution, Lig's 2007 album as Soul Designer and enlist a pretty darn impressive list of people to remix it. Luke Slater crafts a real metallic thump on his remix which competes with Flux Pavilion's menacing throbber for the peak time title. Marco Passarani takes a pleasing direction into melodic Detroit lushness which would nail remix of the release but for the total brilliance of the piano heavy Underground Resistance effort.
