Mystic Jungle Tribe leader Dario di Pace won plenty of praise for last year's "Night Of Cheetah" album, which offered up a range of leftfield boogie, jazz-funk and synth-disco cuts built around the producer's love of vintage equipment and real musicianship. This time round, there's a little more up-front dancefloor flavour, though the obsession with spacey synths and loved-up musicality remains. We're particularly enjoying the spacey proto-house flex of EP opener "Jurakan" and the clicking, synth bass-propelled intergalactic boogie business of "Tropics of Capricorn", but the standard remains impressively high throughout. If you're in the mood for something a little slower and more Balearic, "Parisienne" is a must-listen.
