To date, cult 'working man's techno' label White Material has given Young Male, DJ Richard, and Galcher Lustwerk the chance to shine on their own 12" but they've long promised to provide a platform for further members of the collective to show what they are capable of. Having previously contributed one of the tracks on the fourth White Material release, Morgan Louis steps up to deliver his formal debut which features four productions and three B-side loops. While undeniably deep, the EP touches on a number of techno styles, from the melodious, atmospheric and metronomic title track, to the paranoid creepiness and rolling rhythms of "Donnoo". Arguably best of all, though, is "3Sex", a chunk of almost claustrophobic minimal techno full of barely audible voices and dusty textures.
