Dynamite Cuts continue their hot streak of essential 7" reissues with two soulful gems from North Carolina-born soul legend Johnny Bristol. Best known for his silky vocal style and smooth songwriting, Bristol's original recording of 'I Wouldn't Change A Thing' is presented here in all its lush, upbeat gloryia joyous rare-groove dancer that later found fame through Coke Escovedo's version. The flip, 'Lusty Lady', slows the tempo slightly, opening with a crisp drum-break before unfolding into a seductive mid-tempo groove, complete with lush strings and understated funkiness. Both tracks showcase Bristol's soulful delivery and production finesse, making this 7" an essential reissue for collectors and DJs alike.
