Young Turks lay down a one sided 12" marker for In Colour, the upcoming debut album from Jamie XX which promises to be one of this year's bigger events. Weirdly, there's not a steel pan in sight on "Gosh", a slightly unassuming production where all the hallmarks of a hardcore rave (horns, MC chatter, recycled breakbeats) are boiled down into five minutes that shouldn't really stick in your memory. But watch out, give it a few listens and you'll be saying "oh my gosh" absent-mindedly for the rest of the week.
