Tom Trago's Voyage Direct series returns with the debut release of Interstellar Funk, the alias for young Amsterdam producer Olf Van Elden. Lead track "House Train", which combines the titular vocal with a steady clattering house groove and squeaky synth lead, supposedly found its way into the hands of Trago last year without realising it had been produced by a local; when he found out it was signed and the rest is history. On the flip, Makam beefs up the original with some slamming kicks and iron-clad chords, pushing the "House Train" forward at runaway speed. Great stuff from Voyage Direct as always!
