There are few synth-boogie records better than Imagination's 1982 club smash 'Changes', an impeccable chunk of soul-fired dancefloor brilliance rich in undulating synth-bass, mazy high-register solos, echo-laden piano riffs, warming chords and superb lead vocals from the effervescent Leee John. This reissue not only boasts the peerless Larry Levan remix - the finest version of the tune by far, and subtly dubby in the Paradise Garage legend's typical style - and the dub style Instrumental mix, but also Dimitri From Paris's impressive, stretched-out revision that first featured on the 2009 BBE compilation Night Dubbin.
