As the title suggests, this rather delayed 12" from Optimo Trax is "is all about the drums" and features a trio of DJ tools from across the 1990s that have been long term dancefloor weapons for label boss JD Twitch. Of most interest is A Side production "The Way Out Is The Way" by Illumination, an Anglo-Norse pairing of Nicholas Stilltoe and Per 'Mental Overdrive' Martinsen, which was originally released as a B-Side on Music Man back in 1998. Twitch has apparently been mistakenly playing his original version at 45rpm instead of its intended 33rpm, and it's been pressed on this sampler to be played at either speed. The apocalyptic drum cascades of "The Way Out Is The Way" are complemented by the snare happy "Rigid" by Fuel and a tribalish track from Mr. Marvin, originally released on R&S offshoot Global Cuts in 1993.
