Into The Endless Night vinyl

Vincent Koreman has always been a prolific musician, but he's really hit a rich creative vein since striking out under the name Drvg Cvlture back in 2011. Amazingly, Into The Endless Night is his seventh album in four years. Rooted in his usual, analogue-rich blend of new wave, Italo, acid house and Detroit techno sounds, the album boasts eight chunks of wayward, intergalactic funk. In general, it's a fairly dark and clandestine affair, with Koreman delighting in ratcheting up the intensity on tracks such as "Brakes Are Death", the acid-laden "There Were Rumours", and fearsome Rotterdam electro workout "Jericho Flats". As a result, the album's more obviously melodious moments - and, in particular, the superb title track - hit home even harder.
