Dirg Gerner is the faux mysterious side project of Chilean producer FlaKo, who now resides in London after a stint in Berlin. The blue eyed crooning of Gerner was first seen on Eglo offshoot Ho Tep in 2011 and he's subsequently appeared on Kutmah's Worldwide Family compilation for Brownswood Recordings. Fresh from a successful graduation at this year's RBMA in NYC, FlaKo ascends to Eglo under the Dirg Gerner banner with this self titled six track EP that's sung and produced entirely by the artist himself and expands gracefully on the woozy, soulful approach previously seen on that Ho Tep release. It seems that Gerner's the latest London dweller to be welcomed fully into the Eglo fold with hints that he's been fully involved in the forthcoming debut album from label muse Fatima.
