Following a series of killer releases from Fred Everything, Cle and Lee Webster, Swedish label Local Talk look to Liverpool for their next deep house dispatch. Dale doesn't disappoint with two shuffle-jack workouts that plough deep grooves while maintaining a certainly air of subtlety. "Throwback" is the prize fighter thanks to minor-key organ bass that's so heavy it mutates to stabs on the build-up. "In Out", meanwhile, takes similar bass tones but softens them a little. Complete with cheeky female vocal hits, it's a pretty authentic homage to Chicago 15 to 20 years ago.
