Tiptop's reissues of iconic Buchla modules continue with the 285 frequency shifter. Edgy, twangy harmonic modulation with ring mod options and stereo operation via sum and difference outputs.

The 285t combines two sets of functions: the top section features a frequency shifter, while the lower section includes both balanced modulation and classic ring modulation, all with voltage control. The frequency shifter can shift incoming audio using either its internal oscillator or external audio. Both SUM and Difference outputs are available simultaneously for analogue stereo widening effects and more.
As Tiptop Audio continues its aural odyssey of preserving and transforming the hallmark engineering prowess of Don Buchla's namesake synthesizer modules, the 285t brings a constellation of blistering sonic-contouring tools to your Eurorack array. Like its predecessor, the Tiptop Audio Buchla 285t is a menagerie of modulation madness, offering variable degrees of ring, frequency, and amplitude styles of modulation.
