The mysterious Russian Torrent Versions returns for another salvo of grime-encrusted vinyl-only house excursions, this time coming from Nation affiliate Beau Wanzer and the unknown NJB. Wanzer is at the helm for the A-side, with "Rhythm Track #39" providing some strangely downtempo rhythms with some ghostly sample ambience in the background, while "Something To Tide You Over" provides a more throbbing cut which feels like its tunnelling deep into the fabric of space. On the flip, NJB provides an untitled piece of industrial-edged techno that pulls no punches with its pummelling 4/4 kick and sheet metal melodies.
