There's no real clue as to the origin of this record by 2 Bitches From Queens, the first of two to drop this week, though the tone of the music and the chosen name is clearly done in reverence to the ballroom scene of early '90s New York and DJ Junior Vasquez. Apparently made by, for and with DJs in mind, The Dip features four fierce examples of percussion heavy house music with plenty of bass, filtered vocals and general attitude. There's an authenticity to the production here that makes it hard to decipher whether this is uncovered material from the time or some well schooled contemporary artists. Peep the flip for the two mixes of "Delkalb Ave" for the hotness!
