Review: If you're after a dash of mystery minimalism, step this way. All we can tell you is that Telum is a new, publicity-shy label dedicated to letting "the music do the talking". No names (artists or tracks), just two tasty workouts that have already seen support from Raresh, Rossko and Ricardo Villalobos. The A-side is a surprisingly dreamy, deep space affair, with becalmed, intergalactic pads and bubbly electronics gentky rising above a subtly acid-flecked groove. Turn to the flipside for a slightly warmer riff on the same basic blueprint, where yearning synthesizer motifs cascade down over a tactile but chunky bassline, woozy chords and snappy, machine style percussion. Both tracks feel like the kind to soothe the frazzled minds and aching limbs of locked-in early morning dancers.

Review: Mysterious British imprint Telum (sister label of AnaloQ Musik) is back with some groovy and hypnotic tech house that is sure to work the dancefloor. Previous editions have been rumored to be served up by scene favourites such as Romanian Lizz - so it's fairly niche kind of stuff indeed. We don't have any idea of who this one is by, but it's certainly 'avin it - we can tell you that much! On the A side we have the slick and rolling afterhours funk of Track 1, followed by the deep, bouncy and emotive numbers on the flip - these two being our favourite of the bunch. Tip!

Review: After a years' hiatus, we're hit round the face with the return of Germany's Telum, as though a repressed memory had come back to haunt us. Making up chapter 13 in the Telum story, this big-hitter record compiles three unknown authorial knowns onto a bite-sized but palette-testing green label. 'Track 1' riffles away with its high-fantasy sound design, while 'Track 2' hurtles through implacable FM harmonics, and 'Track 3' mobilises the very same set of sounds for a brilliantly breathable, nocturnal knee-nudger.

Review: Cheeky minimal house moods from an unknown artist for the minimal TELUM label, furtively laying down four cuts for Sunday-evening laydowns. Swung, low-slung bass hits and surreptitious bells make this a calmly spiritual affair, while snappy kicks, claps n' glitches ensure the label's ever-present deep tech M.O. Keener listeners will note the constantly shifting textures, ornamentations and rather schizophrenic voices muttering away in the background, hinting at a deeper subtext than mere dancefloor vibe-ism.

Review: The ever reliable Telum (a division of AnaloQ Musik) returns with its ninth missive, and its first for 2022. Once again it's a case of "no names, just music" on this anonymous four-tracker. There's some truly emotive and hypnotic minimal house cuts on the A side which are aimed squarely at the afterhours dancefloor. Over on the flip things take a deeper and more emotive turn on a truly glassy-eyed and bittersweet affair that's perfect to drop at sunrise. Tip!

Review: Three years after making their bow, the shadowy TELUM crew continues to deliver deliciously hypnotic, off-kilter tech-house treats. The mysterious collective's eighth EP holds few surprises, but plenty of ear-pleasing, mind-expanding headiness. They begin by wrapping deep space electronics and starry chords around an addictive bassline and smooth beats, before opting for crunchier beats, woozier chords and bolder bass on the cut that follows. Over on side B, metallic motifs, echoing melodies and more trance-inducing arrangements are the order of the day on the third untitled track, while the EP's final missive makes great use of sharp, Mr Fingers style acid bass, reverberating synth squiggles and chords so deep they're positively subterranean.

Review: Five years in and we're no closer to finding out who the mystery artist behind Telum is, but it hardly matters when the tracks are so consistently brilliant. Bringing a distinctive flair to the minimal tech house template, these tracks prize musicality over functionality whether that's in the soulful, enchanting vocal turn on the, snaking, funked up A side joint or the B1's swirling melodic hooks and B2's deeply rooted bassline and cheeky guitar licks. Handling ear-catching ingredients with a touch of finesse, these are sophisticated joints for those who need something to pop out of the minimal mix.

Review: It is a mystery who is creating the tracks for the German label Telum. We are now given the 12th release in the catalogue and we still aren't any closer to discovering much about the artist or the label. The A1 takes the classic 'I Heard It Through the Grapevine' sample and fuses it to their deep house groove and you have an instant winner. The B1 track almost updates the cologne style dub techno sound and injects it with some house attitude thanks to the addition of the singing. B2 is another great blend of techno and house for the late-night audience. Each of these tracks are sultry and for the deeper heads while still not alienating any house or techno fans. Another strong release from the Telum camp!
