Essential control with the Nektar Extra

X Mini features a newly developed velocity-sensitive keybed with 25 mini keys. Despite their miniscule dimensions, you can play them expressively with a defined and firm feel. You can also adjust the keyboard response to your playing style by choosing from three velocity curves.

Control pitch bend, modulation and other real-time MIDI messages with the Joystick. The left/right axis is assigned to pitch, the up/down axis is pre-assigned to modulation and foot controller but is also assignable to other MIDI CC-messages.

Control your DAW from GX Mini: Eight dedicated buttons put essential DAW functions right at your fingertips. Give your mouse a break and control transport, track navigation and other features with Nektar DAW Integration for most popular DAWs. The buttons are also MIDI assignable for use with any software that's not supported.

On a keyboard with just 25 keys, you are bound to hit the range limits. This is where Part Two comes in: While playing, simply press one of the dedicated "Part 2" buttons and momentarily shift the octave up or down, transpose, layer another octave on top - or switch to another MIDI channel altogether. The instant you let go of the buttons, Impact GX Mini reverts back to its original settings. What's more, any note that was played prior to pressing "Part 2" will keep playing at the original settings - so you could play and hold some really low bass notes, while playing a solo over the top. A great performance feature!

GX Mini even has a footswitch connector, so you can connect a sustain pedal. As it is programmable, you can assign any other MIDI CC message as well.

Install Nektar DAW Integration and the 8 buttons right above the Joystick let you take control of essential tasks in your DAW right from Impact GX Mini. Most major DAWs are covered, including Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, FL Studio and Studio One. Also included is a template setup for Pro Tools.

DAW integration features cover extended transport control including goto and set locators, track navigation, launching windows and patch navigation - without ever reaching for the mouse.

The streamlined no-fuss control panel is based on the successful Nektar Impact GX-series, enabling advanced DAW integration with extended transport control, track selection and volume control as well as options to open/close DAW windows and navigate songs. In addition, GXP88's user interface also has 14 assignable illuminated RGB buttons for direct MIDI program- and bank-selection.

The GXP49 gives keyboard players all the right expression options needed for live and studio work. It offers large pitch bend & modulation wheels and connections for up to 3 optional external pedals: Connect any standard expression pedal to the first, and any standard footswitch to the second socket. And if you use an optional Y-cable adapter, the footswitch socket even supports two independent switches.

The RGB buttons now give you direct one-button access to Repeat Rates, Accent, Interval, Swing and routing aftertouch or modulation to velocity. The large Data/Tempo Encoder turns into a dedicated tempo control, unless synchronization is set to external MIDI clock.

Choose from 5 different key trigger modes to change the repeat behaviour from interesting arpeggio-style effects with human feel to hard-quantized repetitive rhythms. Repeat is a fun way to experiment and create those famous "happy accidents", that make you come up with unexpected new ideas.

The assignable buttons in the transport section can be configured to send out Program message or MMC (MIDI Machine Control) transport control. Footswitch

LX Mini even has a footswitch socket for connecting a sustain pedal, a feature often missing on mini-keyboards. Connect any standard sustain pedal to the 1/8" mini socket (an adapter from 1/8" to 1/4" is included). Polarity is detected automatically on boot-up, and it is freely MIDI CC#-assignable.

Transport

Control any MIDI music software from LX Mini's 7 Transport buttons. All buttons are MIDI-assignable, with the shift button doubling the number of assignments to 14. With Nektar DAW integration, you even get a third control level for a total of up to 21 functions - all pre-mapped for instant use.

Knobs

8 knobs give you instant access to arpeggio, instrument or MIDI CC# parameters. The Instrument, Internal and Arp/Repeat mode buttons instantly assign the panel to the corresponding features. The Page button doubles the number of assignments.

Pads

Impact LX Mini helps you creating expressive grooves and beats with its 8 velocity-sensitive pads. They offer a hyper-sensitive and even response, ideal for finger-drumming. Assignments are done in seconds and can be stored in 4 pad maps for a total of 32 note assignments.

Arpeggiator & note repeat

Two independent Arp/Repeat engines (one for keys and one for pads) with instant parameter access will inspire exciting synth and percussion lines. Once selected and activated, the Arp/Repeat engine parameters are available on the 8 knobs: Rate, Swing, Accent Level, Interval, Tempo, Arp Modes and Arp Octave can be changed in real-time. The screen printing makes it easy to find the parameter you are looking for.
The Page button switches between the Keys and Pads engine settings, and the buttons next to the pads allow to activate them independently. So it is really easy to have a hi hat or percussion figure going on the pads, while you have an arpeggio bass line figure assigned to the keys in double time - with immediate access to changing either. The tempo can be clocked internally or via MIDI.

Double up: Part 2

Part 2 is a unique performance feature for momentary setup changes: While playing, press one of the dedicated "Part 2" buttons to momentarily shift the octave up or down, transpose, layer another octave on top, switch to another MIDI channel altogether - or any combination of these features.
The instant you let go of the buttons, Impact LX Mini reverts back to its original settings. What's more, any note that was played prior to pressing "Part 2" will keep playing at the original settings - so you could play and hold some really low bass notes, while playing a solo over the top. You'd like to latch your setting? Simply press the second Part 2 button while still holding the first. Part 2 will help you play in new ways, not even possible on larger keyboards!

Five velocity curves shift the emphasis from soft to hard, giving enough choice to cater for any playing style. A fixed option enables velocity values to be set by controls, including the wheels.

Beats on tap:
Designed with finger drumming in mind, Panorama T4's 8 large velocity and pressure sensitive pads are the perfect tool for beat creation. Triggering at an extremely low threshold, they will capture ghost notes and flams as easily as you can play them. If the factory settings are not expressive enough for you, it's even possible to calibrate each pad individually for optimum performance.

Each pad can be assigned any MIDI note number or MIDI CC message for use as MIDI trigger or toggle buttons - and assigning sounds couldn't be easier: Activate Pad Learn, select a pad, play the required note or drum sound on the keyboard and assignment is done. A Pad Bank Button left to the pads gives you access to another 8 pads, for a total of 16 pads within a pad map. 8 such pad maps are available for recall at any time.

Key and pad repeat:
Located just above the wheels are the Key Repeat and Pad Repeat buttons. Press to activate the repeat function and notes will be repeated at the set rate. Change the rate in real-time from 1/4 - 1/96 note values, change the tempo, add some swing and set an accent interval.

Repeat settings for pads and keys are independent of each other, so one can be set for the drum beat and the other for an instrumentation part. The Repeat's trigger mode can be set to repeat from the point of playing a note or to sync with the beat. Clock source can either be internal or external MIDI clock.

Nine 30mm faders, 8 assignable LED buttons and 8 encoders are at the centre of the T-series' control panel. Each control is fully programmable to send any MIDI CC message for use with hardware or software MIDI products.

When used with Nektar DAW integration or Nektarine, the controls provide flexible pre-mapped DAW- or plugin-control, giving you deep tactile control right from the hardware. The DAW integration files also contain automatic catch-up and soft-takeover functions to avoid parameter jumping when you switch between devices.

Our most compact MIDI keyboard controller is about as wide as a laptop and gives you all you need to create music on the move: 25 mini keys (that actually play well), six control buttons and Nektar DAW Integration. MOBILE ACTION - THE KEYBOARD:

The keys are the most important feature for a MIDI controller keyboard: They transport your playing and musical ideas into the computer. As the SE25 is designed to be ultimately mobile and fit in any backpack, there was simply no room to fit full-size keys. But still we wanted it to be playable well. So we developed a new velocity-sensitive mini-keybed for the SE25. Despite these keys' miniscule dimensions, you can play them expressively with a defined and firm feel. What's more, a choice of three different velocity curves allows you to adjust the keyboard response to your playing style. These keys are ready for action!

DOUBLE UP - PART TWO:

Simply press the dedicated "2" button to momentarily shift the octave, add an octave or harmony layer while you play - or switch to a different channel: The unique Part Two feature will enable you to play in ways not even possible on keyboards with many more keys! What's so special about this? Well, the moment you let go of the Part Two button, the SE25 reverts back to its original settings. So you can toggle back-and-forth between two different keyboard configurations in realtime. A fun performance feature!

The "2" button is assignable to Octave, MIDI Channel, Transpose, Layer and Latch or a combination of these features.

MODULATE - PERFORMANCE CONTROLS:

Pitch Bend, Modulation and Sustain are key ingredients for dynamic keyboard performances. So we found a way to shrink the controls to size and put them right at your fingertips. Six buttons to the left of the keyboard are pre-assigned to octave shift, transpose and sustain. Don't need transpose? Then assign the transpose buttons to Pitch Bend, MIDI Volume, Pan, Track* or Patch* change instead (*= requires Nektar DAW Integration). Of course, the SE61 works with any MIDI software, but with custom Nektar DAW Integration you can do even more: Use the Transpose buttons for track or patch change, always have the currently selected track's volume assigned to the fader and turn the Octave and Transpose buttons into Play, Stop, Record and Rewind buttons. How's that for giving the mouse a break?
Nektar DAW Integration for SE25 surrently supports Bitwig, Cubase, Garageband, Logic, Nuendo, Digital Performer, Mixcraft, Reason, Reaper, Sonar and Studio One. (In order to take advantage of Nektar DAW Integration, you need to register your SE25 and download the integration files from your user account.)

SE61 keyboards are USB class compliant and don't require a driver to operate. Installation and connection is easy; just plug the keyboard in to a USB port on your computer. You can also connect an Impact SE49 keyboard to an iOS device using the optional Apple USB camera connection kit. A 1/4" input jack allows you to add a foot switch pedal for sustain or sending MIDI messages.

You can start producing, performing, and designing sounds like a pro from day one with the included Bitwig 8-Track DAW. It includes over 50 software instruments and effects for use on up to 8 audio or MIDI project tracks, and you can use any 3rd party VST plug-ins you might own, too. The 'Bitwig Essentials Package' comes as part of this package as well, featuring a highly versatile handpicked selection of loops, clips and samples, to make it even easier to get you started.
