Review: Since the release of "Les Beaux Jours", Agoria spent most of his time working in his home studio and traveling around the globe spreading his DJ skills. Today we can say "The Green Armchair", Agoria’s second album, is almost completed and will hit the stores October 16th. "Code 1026" is the first glimpse of this new album and it's already played by people such as Tiga, Laurent Garnier, James Holden, Carl Craig & Adam Freeland to name a few. The B-Side "Kick The Peace" is the mellow track everyone is looking for and would be perfect with a cocktail beside the pool.
Review: Agoria returns with a brand new single featuring Sylvie Marks from Berlin's ultra-cool Bpitch Control label! On the flip, "Snake Hips" employs a Moroder bassline into a kind of eighties pulsating electronic stomp.
Queen Of Ice (feat Dizzy - Pet Shop Boys extended mix) (5:29)
Queen Of Ice (feat Dizzy - Pet Shop Boys Moody mix) (3:29)
Queen Of Ice (feat Dizzy) (3:59)
Queen Of Ice (feat Dizzy - Pet Shop Boys 7" mix) (3:14)
Review: Record Store Day Black Friday edition gifts us this unlikely pairing of artists as Different offers up some Pet Shop Boys remixes of Claptone's 'Queen of Ice.' The extended mix goes first with a nice pop-tinged and subtly Balearic rework with warming electronic drums and the original emotive vocals. Their Moody mix then breaks up the beast a little into tumbling affairs that are perfect for summer festival deployment. On the flip is the heart-wrenching dance pop nugget that is the original of 'Queen Of Ice' (feat Dizzy) before the best of the lot - a nice and breezy 7" mix that is clean and catchy.
Review: Following the success of her debut album Man Made this year, here's a reissue of London artist Aria Wells aka Greentea Peng's Rising EP from back in 2019 on Different. She worked with different producers on this one such as Fred Cox, Kiko, Samo and Earbuds who lent their various talents. Peng's soothing vocal delivery is accompanied perfectly by hypnotic polyrhythms on songs like 'Risin', the blunted urban blues of 'Inna City', and the broken beat neo-soul of 'Liberation' being just some highlights on this terrific EP.

Review: Touring touring touring. That's what The Hacker did most of his time since the release of his last album "Reves Mecaniques". That's almost two years of traveling all over the world! Actually the title of the vinyl came out during a lunch the day after he played as a guest for Front 242. After all this time The Hacker felt he needed to come with something new, fresh, unexpected. So what about a almost 11 minute long track?! Deep, groovy, spatial "It Was Tomorrow" is one of these tracks you should listen to whilst watching the new Logan's Run movie. "Planet 89" with his vocal loop "This planet must be destroyed" has been already played heavily by The Hacker during his gigs and is one of the top summer tune of Miss Kittin, David Caretta and Angel Molina amongst others. Darker and hypnotic, a no-brainer for the clubs!
Review: "Alone In The Dark" is the debut single by French producer Kiko. It's a melodic slice of peak-time techno in the same vain as label mate Vitalic.
Review: Released due to popular demand, Tiga's 'Far From Home' gets the remix treatment from Digitalism and the man himself gives us his 'Speed Of Sexor reprise mix'. Released due to heavyweight demand the Digitalism mix of Tiga's 'Far From Home' is now available on 12" vinyl having been previously only available on promo and commercial CD. One of Digitalism's heavier mixes it is backed with Tiga's own unmistakable 'Speed Of Sexor reprise'. Both were big hits in clubland and both cut to a side of vinyl each for optimum sound quality.
Review: This new gem from Vitalic will be one of most played track for this summer. Played during his gigs for a while Bells features the voice of American singer Linda Lamb. Her vocals really lend themselves to Vitalic's sound, keeping up with the intensity and adding to its space-age felling. On the B-side lays "You Are My Sun". Love track smelling the summer with Vitalic's own voice. Both tracks are on the "Ok Cowboy Collector's Edition" to be released on July 3rd. This new edition includes a bonus disc with unreleased tracks, B-sides appearing previously on singles only and remixes. In total 10 tracks plus My Friend Dario and Poney Part 1 videos!
