Review: Don't DJ, the artist otherwise known as Florian Meyer, has been increasingly active outside the immediate Salon Des Amateurs-affiliated world of Diskant, having contributed fine records to Berceuse Heroique and Emotional Response in 2015. Meyer's next solo move finds the German landing on the curious Travel By Goods label with Metasepia, which features three new Don't DJ productions and comes replete "with a transcription of a conversation between Florian Meyer (producer) and Wouter Hisschemoller (software-engineer) about the Euclidean rhythm pattern generator, bugs and the future of musical production." Loose, poly-rhythmic machine music is of course the order of the day and will appeal to the freaks that like Durian Brothers, SUED, Themes For Great Cities etc.
