Review: Sometimes the 'faceless' producers behind your favourite pop hits just need to come out of the woodwork. Forget your Max Martins, Malcolm McLarens, or Trevor Horns, though. Here comes Frank Farian, the brain behind Boney M and Milli Vanilli, with this vinyl reissue of the first album from his '90s solo project 'Greatest Hits', from which the hit single 'Be My Lover' emanated. Coming to limited double red vinyl, 90s vocal dance classics (in terms of style, think Sonique or Haddaway) like 'Sweet Dreams' and 'Fallin In Love' return to audiophile-quality wax, some 15 years after the original CD.

Review: Lamb's first new material in almost four years and highly limited numbered gatefold on 180 transparent vinyl... This has got it all. Most importantly, it sounds beautiful, too. Picking up where they left us, Lou Rhodes' vocal is still as delicate and soul searching and Andrew Barlow's instrumentation and production is still as broad and contemporary. From the timeless piano/string ballad "As Satellites Go By" to the heavy bass jacker "Seven Sails" via the rim-shot wriggling space jazz of "Nobody Else", Lamb remain as alluring, exciting and relevant than ever. Unwinding material just went next level.

Review: Originally released back in 1994, Forever Now was the tenth studio album by British jazz/funk outfit Level 42, fronted by Mark King and the Gould brothers. Considered one of their greatest albums, it was a commercial success which reached the top 10 in UK album charts at the time, and was the last album before the band's breakup. Features the well known title track as well as other popular hits such as 'All Over You' and 'Love In a Peaceful World'. This reissue courtesy of Music On Vinyl is a limited edition, on silver and black marbled vinyl with credits and photos on the insert.

Review: What a gem this is to follow up the much-loved 2024 stop-motion animated Netflix classic directed by series creator Nick Park. Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl earned critical acclaim, winning two BAFTA awards and receiving an Academy Award nomination in the process. The story follows Gromit as he tries to save Wallace, whose new "smart" gnome invention seems to have a mind of its own and may be linked to a vengeful figure from the past. The film's score was crafted by Emmy-nominated Lorne Balfe and BAFTA-nominated Julian Nott and adds depth to the adventure with theme tunes, dramatic operatic moments, more tender interludes and plenty of great musical narratives. The release includes a four-page booklet with an exclusive Nick Park drawing.

Review: The Upsetters' legendary Build The Ark album is one of the many pioneering works of dub that the late great Lee 'Scratch' Perry was involved with. It brings together the very best of Jamaican reggae with a number of the more rare tracks sitting alongside some stone cold classics. Junior Murvin's 'Cross Over', Windston Heywood's 'Long, Long Time' and Eric Donaldson's 'Freedom Street' all feature on this one, which was first put out by Trojan Records in 1990. This limited edition repress has been pressed to orange vinyl just 2000 times.
