Dope Jams NYC Vol 1: 2005-2012 Addendum #1
Cat: DJ 581. Rel: 30 Jan 17
2AM/FM - "Poison Dart" (7:11)
James T Cotton - "Bizarre Carnival" (13:10)
Review: Tripping back to 2005/4 on a raw, machine funk flex, Dope Jams track back over Todd Mullinix's earlier chapters with two immense slabs of future tech. First up, his 2AM/FM project with D'Marc Cantu with "Poison Dart" a gritty late night Berlin lazer-fest. It's followed by the wily, unpredictable data charges on "Bizarre Carnival" on which you can almost hear the machines hissing in meltdown. This is what flashbacks were invented for.

Selador Decade Vol 1
Cat: SELV 008. Rel: 18 Apr 23
3D & Robert Owens - "Known Love" (7:51)
Olivier Giacomotto & Quivver - "Snailblazer" (6:40)
Dave Seaman & Hernan Cattaneo - "Napkin Knowledge" (7:28)
Argia & Jepe - "Salitre" (7:38)
Review: In celebration of their tenth birthday, Selador marks the occasion in style with a four-track collaborative EP, featuring tracks from 3D, Robert Owens, Olivier Giacomotto, Quivver, Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo, Argia, and Jepe. The opening track, 'Known Love', is a deep, pulasting house tune that feels like an instant classic, perhaps thanks to the soulful, pop-tinged vocals - think LCD soundsystem meets Four Tet. 'Snailblazer', the second track on the EP, takes a much darker turn, with a chugging, EBM-esque feel. Full-bodied and complete with obscured vocals, this is the kind of track to pull out your bag when it's time to really get stuck in. On the B-side, 'Napkin Knowledge' draws on the glistening synths of eurodance, yet still securing the melodies to a grounded bassline and rhythm section. 'Salitre' is the perfect closing track, rising up in a gleaming, ecstatic melody, before delicately returning to ground level. A varied yet firmly cohesive collaborative release - the perfect way for Selador to kick off their 2023 catalogue.

8Kays & Juan Hansen - "Falling Down" (Chris Avantgarde remix) (6:52)
8Kays - "Lyra" (5:23)
Review: Watergate, the cult Berlin club known for its riverside location and legendary LED ceiling above the dancefloor, is also a reputable tech house label that deals in fresh names only. Here it is 8Kays that makes a debut with Falling Down, a selection of superb collaborations including 'Matematica' with Glowal which is tense and electric tech with indie vocals and with Juan Hansen he cooks up the medically hopeful 'Falling Down' which then gets two remixes. Colyn & Beswerda make it into a moody and deep groove, Chris Avantgarde brings some peak time prog energy and solo cut 'Lyra' has a warm, paddy broken beat to cruise on through the stars.

Bassywax - "Amona Left Us Overnight" (5:33)
Mathys Lenne - "Error" (5:14)
Review: Welcome to the Slippery Yard, a new label out of Spain which is sure to turn heads with this fine first release - a psychedelic blend of techno from various artists. A Morgan's 'Air' is urgent and cosmic a la Jeff Mills, Dc11's 'It's All An Act' layers up deft synth details with sleek linear rhythms and Judy's 'Bide Luzea' is a hurried, pulsing, late-night mental techno trip. A further deep and heady trio of tunes features on the B-side with Bassywax's sub-aquatic sound world on 'Amona Left Us Overnight' taking the headlines for us.

DJ T-1000 - "Detroitism"
Terrence Dixon - "Daily Routine"
Obsolete Music Technology - "Past Virtue"
Plural - "07"
Jamal M - "Fine & Mellow"
Windimoto - "Friday Night: UBQ"
Review: A hefty double 12" from Generator features a slew of basement techno bombs from both sides of the Atlantic (oh, and Australia). From the pounding, relentless throb of Abstract Science's "The Grinder" to the shuffling groove of "Detroitism" by DJ-T 1000, the eight tracks cover the full breadth of techno's rich sonic landscape. Other highlights include the broken beats and woodblock percussion on Plural's "07" and the more experimental vibe of "Fine & Mellow" by Mathematics boss and general Chicago underground legend, Jamal M. An unmissable collection of tracks packaged in highly collectable artwork by Alan Oldham, who was also responsible for the superbly illustrated Defenders Of The Deep House World EP that surfaced on Third Ear a few months back.

Acronym - "Nabu"
JC - "Chenox"
Zadig - "Panic"
Review: Ah yes, The Tresor Demo line...what could be a better surprise on a Thursday? Whether you're into it or not, the German institution is a bloody techno power-house and recent released by the Zenker Brothers have been truly killer. This time, Northern Electronics man, Acronym steps up for a rattling, shape-shifting chest-burster on "Nabu" and tracks from newbies JC and Zadig both detonate splinter-like floor dynamite. It's heavy, be warned.

ADHS - "Razor" (6:52)
Julian Jeweil - "Pulsation" (6:41)
Marco Faraone - "Dream" (7:04)
Gary Beck - "Ship Went Down" (5:46)
Review: Gargantuan-room techno trailblazers Drumcode return with 'The A Sides Vol 11 - Pt. 7'. If the title is any indicator enough - and no, it's not irony - this is a stonking closer to a mammoth seven-12" compilation series. The love-em-or-hate-em label always deliver a rave romp for titans, barging past polite types with frick-off bits from A.D.H.S., Julian Jewell, Marco Faraone and Gary Beck. Topping off a project originally conceived in 2012, this is a pulsing sensation suitable for both budding techno enthusiasts and chinstokers willing to let their hair loose for once.

Review: Those seeking out the hardest, no holds barred techno need look no further than the latest Mord release. On Herdersmat Part 23, the esteemed Dutch label presents four furious tracks by some of the scene's heaviest hitters. On side A, the one-and-only Cisco Ferreira returns under The Advent alias with the proper old school techno vibe of 'Radar 06', followed by the functional DJ tool by Sedvs 'Come Clean' which is proper tackle for tripping out under the strobe. Over on the second side of the disc, you'll be banged into submission by a couple of seething industrial-edged cuts; label staple Bas Mooy teams up with Jeroen Liebregts on the seething 'Ash' and closing it out with the Code Is Law affiliated Under Black Helmet on 'Message'.

Review: Dutch label Illegal Alien is rightly celebrating its last 16 years in existence. It's doing so with a bumper collection of 44 exclusive tracks from 46 of its best artists across an eight-volume vinyl and digital series. The series not only traces the label's evolution, but that of techno itself and this sixth outing once again offers no-nonsense, heady and atmospheric techno that is both physical and inventive. Review: For its seventh release, southern Italians Obscura Music return to welcome exciting new talents and core label acts. Head honchos Agents Of Time venture down an electro route with "East Coast", as do the ever impressive London Modular Alliance on the hypnotic "Buck One". Man of the moment Aussie Jensen Interceptor channels classic Drexciyan aesthetics on "Manix" before homeboys and label staples Hiver come through with the slinky and hypnotic tech house of "Stasys" and Detroit veteran Kris Wadsworth makes a surprising appearance with some slow burning minimalism displayed on closer "Abroad".

Juaan - "Talt" (5:51)
Ramez - "Devil Selectro" (5:39)
Plazeg - "German Physicist" (6:03)
Review: Poggio and Gabriel Belabbas' cheeky Positive Future label is back once again to bring some playful mischief to the contemporary electro-techno scene. This split release showcases some of the artists orbiting the label, kicking off in spooky style with Aline Umber's 'Hypnotized', which features a pitched down vocal from Poggio no less. Juaan's 'Talt' is equally steeped in B-movie freakery and tongue-in-cheek samples, while Ramez takes things deeper on bass-toting dirtbag joint 'Devil Selectro'. Plazeg finishes the record off with the scattershot bleep feast 'German Physicist', which has a whale of a time plying its own line in gleefully macabre club music.

Locked & Loaded (7:46)
Altitudes (7:03)
On The Run (8:07)
The Seed (7:11)
Review: Back in 2016, legendary Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen approached techno pioneer Jeff Mills with the idea of working together. A series of live gigs and off-the-radar studio sessions followed, with the first fruits of their joint efforts finally appearing on this must-have 10". As you'd expect, the duo's collaborative work combines Allen's traditional Nigerian polyrhythms, traditional Afrobeat instrumentation, and the far-sighted, sci-fi inspired electronic futurism that has always marked out Mills' work. The result is a quartet of cuts that could arguably be described as retro-futurist Afro-tech - all delay-laden beats, basslines and organs subtly sparring with gentle acid lines, Motor City electronics, beguiling deep space textures and shimmering, 31st century motifs. It's arguably Allen's stylistic contributions that dominate, but that's no bad thing.

Dungeon Funk lands heavily here with a debut release that sets a good standard from the off. This marks the first time that assured and hardcore deep house heads Dungeon Meat and SlapFunk Records have come together and it is the result of Meat man Brawther hosting a comp on his Patreon channel for aspiring producers to try and impress. From the many entries he received, the four best are served up here starting with Ibiza-based A.M. Project whose 'Flippin' Kicks' has heavyweight kicks and plunging bass. UK-based ADMNTi & Jack Ling offer the quick tech funk of 'Meat Slap', Russia's Fanick brings a trippy breakbeat vibe with 'Watch Me' and Canada's Modal Logic offers 'Space and Science Center', a nice loopy and low-slung banger to close.

Review: MCMLXV welcomes back Analog~1 for a third outing here. It is an alias of JS Zeiter and one that is reserved more for esoteric and electronica tracks following notable outings on labels such as Furthur Electronix, Meandyou and We're Going Deep. 'Mirage' kicks off with melancholic pads and dubby chords over crisp minimal drums that sink you into a reverie. That vibe continues through 'Virtual' and 'Haunted' which care both sophisticated atmospheres with subtle electro-tinged rhythms and quietly emotive pads. 'Solano' closes down with another icy and cavernous space that is filled with meaningful synth craft to make for another classy EP.

Outland Records will now take new directions with this release that has been produced by Outland Records label owner Jerome (Jeroen Krom) & Jamie Anderson (Artform, NRK) together, the first project from these two pioneers in techhouse resulted in a big release on Amsterdam "100% Pure Records". This time they have taken techhouse to the next level. Very deep minimal sounds, added a bit of electro flavours to it and rocking fat beats. A fresh sound for your ears.

Review: The Hyperdrive label is back with a third outing which once again offers up some exciting and forward-thinking new artists. Anderson's 'Sweet Psylow' kicks off with some psychedelic synth loops over crisp tech house drums that hark back to the 90s prog heyday. HearThuG's 'Back To The Future' is a darker sound with whistles, snappy snares and eerie chords and Luis Malon & Seb G then combine for the bouncing techno rhythms and acid-laced pads of 'Extasis Nebular.' Last but not least, Jamie Leather's 'Strange Commodities' is a surging cosmic techno trip with dynamic drums and perc and majestic leads. This is another fine release from this young label.

CTSD - "Algorithmica" (4:57)
Jerm - "Toxic Positivity" (6:09)
Review: Up to this point, the deliciously devilish Renegade Methodz label has largely been a vehicle for founder Endlec's fearsome, formidable techno productions. Following his Cycle Of Doom release comes this VA drop, which helps map the contours of the techno which makes this Greek label tick. ANFS brings a claustrophobic pressure to 'Kavatza' before Scalameriya lets rip with some punishing, noisy firepower packing all the necessary punch for a big room rave-up. CTSD brings some wild sound design flair to the peaks and troughs of 'Algorithmica' while still keeping the production gnarly and then Jerm finishes the job with a deep-diving, heads-down chokeslam of a track.

On the A side "Reprise 01" is unashamedly Millsian with its film score style strings persisting alongside a bell melody and the hiss of a 909 hi-hat. ANNE kicks off with the deep, thudding kicks of 'Coral Reefs' complete with lush hits to smooth the groove. Spook In The House - "Conspiracy" (6:14)
Review: Silverlining keeps up the pressure with his flawless series, hitting the tenth release in style with this batch of remixes he's sprinkled some metallic underground house magic over. First up is Arctor & Jay Hill's "Mercurial", which gets given a cavernous rub down, as brittle but mightily groovy percussion pirouettes around dubby inflections, whispered atmospherics and more besides. Ravi McArthur's "Here & Now" takes on a '90s tint as a killer phased lead hook and woozy pads bring the wiggle to Rizvi's limber deep house rhythm structure. "Conspiracy" by Spook In The House completes the set with a fractured ping into more experimental territory that sports a serious whiff of Stasis-esque psychedelia in its genetic make up.

The fourth EP to come from the UK imprint, and third this year, is a various artist sampler featuring label inaugurator Joey Anderson, who is joined by the best of British; October, Lief and the impressive Arnaldo. Nuclear Funk (A Made Up Sound remix)
Get Up Off It (Dexter remix)
Review: Dexter and A Made Up Sound get the Clone call to mess with the material from Arttu's great debut on the Royal Oak label, and naturally the results are a must have. In their original form both "Nuclear Funk" and "Get Up Off It" were the improvised results of a studio session between the 4Lux artist and Detroit vocalist Jerry The Cat. It's a bit of a genius stroke from Clone to enlist two well respected audio technicians like Dexter and Dave Huisman to bend them further out of shape, with the latter's take on "Nuclear Funk" a particular demented delight. Operating under his alias A Made Up Sound, this remix typically smudges the boundaries between genre and rhythm to suit his own needs, reworking the synths to sound like a faltering dot matrix printer over incessantly stumbling drums. Dexter indulges his love of 303 patterns on a remix of "Get Up Off It" that stays closer to the original's origins and makes for a nice contrast to the A Side onslaught.

Who better for the job on this second edition than master craftsmen ASC and Joachim Spieth? ASC opens up with 'Tidal Disruption Event', an understated, underwater rhythm with jittery percussive patterns and bright shards of melodic light piercing through the mix as more coarse soundwaves break over the top. Entitled "Dark Side", the pair's collaborative effort, remixed on the A-side by Metroplex artist Kimyon Huggins, combines Atkins' techno and electro style with Ernestus' dub background into exactly the kind of deep and muggy take on Atkins' sound you'd expect from such a union. Remix duties are handled by another legendary pair, with minimal veteran Ricardo Villalobos and renowned experimentalist Max Loderbauer uniting again under the name Vilod. Awanto - "Sit On This"
S3A aka Sampling As An Art - "The Ravist"
Jared Wilson - "You Get Down"
Samuel Andre Madsen - "Waterwalking Paris"
Review: Concrete has been integral in the rebirth of Parisian clubbing culture, offering a unique 19 hour long party that begins early on Sunday and goes on and on in the picturesque setting of the Port De La Rapee on the River Seine. Looking to expand, this new Concrete Music label should operate as an extension of the party commencing with a series of three planned Textures releases inviting local talent and previous guests to contribute. Volume 1 inaugurates the label in style, brandishing original productions from the excellent Jared Wilson, Awanto 3 and Nsyde artist Samuel Andre Madsen as well as Parisian producer S3A (Sampling As An Art). "Sit On This" is a typically dusty slice of house from Awanto 3 which contrasts nicely with the percussion heavy classicist house of "The Ravist" by S3A and the deep acid of Jared Wilson. Madsen takes it deep and moody on "Waterwalking Paris" to end a superb and diverse debut release.

Review: Noise Manifesto is a new creative endeavour from techno producer Paula Temple, less a label and more a "platform for electronic music artists that do not follow the distorted norms". The first release brings together the collective talents of rRoxymore, The Knife's Oni Ayhun, Planningtorock (as Aquarian Jugs) and Paula Temple as Jaguar Woman for Decon Recon #1, a four track 12" that smudges away traditional notions of artistic authorship. Instead of explicitly stating who did what on Decon Recon, the music is presented as a collective with no signifier, leaving you to enjoy the sounds unencumbered by prejudice or expectation. There's a wonderfully off kilter feeling running through all four tracks, as the traditional tropes of techno rub up against odd textural tones and weirded out strings. A fine start to the Noise Manifesto.

Retrograde Youth - "Final Days" (4:36)
LVRIN - "Black Tank" (4:58)
Review: Somewhat later than initially intended, Pinkman serves up the second volume in its celebratory "Five Years of Tears" series (the first landed back in April 2018). As was the case with its predecessor, the six-track set is made up entirely of previously unreleased material. This time round, the majority of the material is inspired by EBM, industrial, coldwave and other skewed, left-of-centre electronic sounds from the 1980s. The material is uniformly strong, with highlights including the sweaty, percussive, all-action insanity of "Al Batard" by Jann, sleazy, mid-tempo EBM pulse of Kris Baha's superb "Beatthemachine" and the pitch-black, DAF style intensity of Retrograde Youth's "Final Days".

John Shima - "Gravitron" (6:41)
Review: The first missive from freshly minted Spanish label Tribe is a multi-artist affair, with a quartet of producers serving up some seriously good material. Barson kicks things off via the psychedelic acid lines, bustling TR-909 drums and early LFO mannerisms of "Inertia", before self-styled "ageing B-boy" Freddy Fresh surprises with a stomping, bass-heavy chunk of early '90s techno. Over on side B, Artes impresses via the dreamy but energetic techno-funk of "Chromatic Life", while Sheffield-based John Shima steals the show with a killer slab of intergalactic Motor City techno with distinctive ambient influences.

Review: Over two decades into its lifespan, Adam Beyer's Drumcode imprint keeps evolving and excelling, pushing techno forward while remaining wholly respectful of its roots. On Part 3 of A Sides Vol 7, Beyer brings in the scene's top guns to expertly execute some main room peak-time action. On the first side, it's an undeniably Dutch affair with Amsterdam hero Bart Skils stepping up to deliver the deeply hypnotic tunnel vision of "West Of The Moon", while veterans Secret Cinema & Reinier Zonneveld deliver the darkly druggy dancefloor drama of "Pain Thing". On the flip, Pig & Dan should need no introduction and are in fine form as always on the adrenalised "Pushing On" while ascendant Aussie Juliet Fox similarly impresses on "Wanted Me".

Review: Following the sudden impact of Remco Beekwilder's Moortgat EP, his label Emerald is straight back to it with a double pack VA release of quality hi-octane techno. Beekwilder himself kicks off proceedings with the nightmarish pressure of 'Rhythm Allegiance', and then we get a merry romp through all kinds of pile-driving gear from artists like Rove Ranger, Sedvs, Parano, Alarico and Jacobworld. While the vibes range from industrial and pounding to light and funky, the tempo maintains at the upper end of the spectrum, making this a very handy collection to have for those long-haul peak time gigs when you need to keep the crowd wound up.

Review: Holland's fearless Tape series returns with a hefty dose of electroid groove science from some of its most talented members. As per usual, the beats are murky and the melodies swamped, ingeniously blending shards of techno together with bursts of electro. The killers have to be Mark Du Mosch's "Soulsearch", a blistering clusterbomb of a track reminiscent of Gesloten Cirkel at his finest, and "1999" by Interstellar Funk. Don't miss this one; it'll go for bucks in the future. Hand-stamped.

Review: Some serious peak time weapons for the main room on offer here, from the ever reliable Swedish label Drumcode. Usual heroes of the label such as Luigi Madonna, Sam Paganini and Joseph Capriati step aside for some other equally reliable staples. On the A, side label boss Adam Beyer teams up with Enrico Sangiuliano on the evocative and life affirming "Preset Heaven" which takes its cues from early trance with its amazing chord progression. It is something more typical of the label next, on the pummelling warehouse stomp of "Muzik" by Bulgaria's Timmo. On the flip, there's more trance nostalgia on offer again - this time from legends Pig & Dan on the hypnotic/melodic bliss of "La Bruja" which we could imagine melting the minds of festival crowds well into the new year. Finally they save the best for last with French peak time specialist Julian Jeweil, serving up the furious, tunneling and strobe-lit ultraviolence of "Nasa" which will have your adrenaline going from the first beat. It has been a stellar year for the powerhouse label, with great releases by Moby, Dubfire and newcomer Layton Giordani.

Track 2
Review: Adam Beyer is now firmly established as one of the world's most talented and sought after techno DJs and producers. One of the cornerstones of his monumental success is the constant high quality output on his 3 labels - Drumcode, Truesoul and Madeye. Not only that but he also released one of the biggest techno records of last year on the legendary Plus 8 - 'Adam Beyer - A Walking Contradiction'. Moving on from there this new release on Madeye is simply the bomb!! When Adam Beyer and Jesper Dahlback work together in the studio the results are always explosive and this well-crafted two tracker is no exception. The A-side is a pulsating tough groove with razor sharp edits that just builds and builds. On a large club system this is simply devastating. On the flip there is a slower bass driven groove with a deadly build down and series of edits mid way.

Wilson is now synonymous with wild acid workouts and 303 magic and he serves up more of it here on the mind-melting10 minute 'Mind Travel'. The lesser spotted veteran Bizz O.D. then brings some jack to her previously unreleased bomb 'One Two,' which was recorded in the mid-'90s but still sounds future. Last of all is the label head FIT Siegel with 'No Feedback,' a studio sampling exercise turned experimental broken beat techno workout with hypnotic effects. Here's hoping many more of these will follow.

Review: The second volume of Bushwick Is Melting features original unreleased material by Brooklyn-based producers Black Meteoric Star, Lorna Dune, and J. Slusher. Gavin Russom apparently has a new Black Meteoric Start LP on the way and we can't wait based on the epic, sweeping grandness that is the 18 minute A-side hogger "Unearthed Arcana" which is quite hypnotic when in full flight. The B-side finds Lorna Dune putting her experiments with the piano to one side to focus on some celestial house moves with "Reflux" which will appeal to fans of Legowelt's more star gazing moments whilst the wonderfully named J. Slusher closes out the record with the face melting techno cut "Night Train".

Review: As the title suggests, this 12" provides a second selection of cuts from Dynamic Reflection's recent five-piece box set, "Continuum". First into bat is Blawan, whose moody, foreboding and intense "The Narrowing" is a deliciously crackly, mind-altering slab of Halloween-friendly horror-techno. SHDW and Obscure Shape successfully join forces for the retro-futurist brilliance of track 2 "Zuruck Ins Licht" - think "Brown Album" era Orbital fused with mid-'90s James Ruskin fare - while Jeroen Search serves up some serious dancefloor hypnotism in the shape of EP highlight "Fundamental Force". To round up a fine EP of slamming peak-time techno, Stefan Vincent does his best Surgeon impression on "You Taught Me How To Hate".

John Beltran - "Return To Nightfall"
Review: Dutch label Delsin's 100th release celebrations continue, albeit in a typically understated fashion, on this fifth instalment. BNJMN's beautiful but brief opener "Dive" sets the scene for the release as does the dreamy but serene "Radio's Mutterings" by Herva. While the pace picks up on Delta Funktionen's "Petrol", a fusion of robust broken beats and dreamy chords, the overall tone here is mellow and melodic. This is audible on Bleak's "Keep Me Close", where dubbed out drums and a trancey bass prevail, and on the standout track from John Beltran. The US producer may be known primarily for his home-listening sounds, but on "Return to Nightfall" he copper-fastens his dreamy, melodic textures to a pulsing, hypnotic groove.

Review: The fervour surrounding the Boddika and Joy Orbison production axis has seemingly tempered in the period since the last Sunklo transmission, the Pearson Sound featuring Faint which surfaced in July of 2012, but that seems set to change with their latest round of collaborative tracks. Returning with Sunklofaw, the duo deliver "More Maim" and "In Here", both of which demonstrate Al and Pete have lost none of their collective prowess for finely crafted techno tools. Review: ** Repress ** The first of two 12" samplers heralding the forthcoming Nonplus label compilation Think and Change arrives bearing two heavy hitting tracks not to be found on the compilation proper. On the A-side, Boddika & Joy Orbison's Sunklo hit "Mercy" gets the VIP treatment from Boddika; the result is a peak time tool which strips the original down to its barest components but still maintains the juggernaut-like quality of the original. It's joined by a fresh Kassem Mosse track in the form of "Broken Patterns", a typically tough production from the Bosse which combines and endlessly stomping 4/4 rhythm with cascading string plucks and rattling synth textures.

Review: Those that missed out on Nonplus's blink-and-you'll-miss-it Think & Change boxset now have the chance to grip each of the 12"s in the package individually - though sadly without the bespoke box. The first sees a rare outing for Boddika & Joy O outside of the Sunklo habitat, with "&Fate" delivering a jittery piece of slick tech-house whose surprisingly soulful vocal samples is pulled down with dense beats and pulsing analogue textures. Review: Midland's Graded launches a new diffusion imprint: Intergraded. Featured here are four cuts from emerging producers. With Graded now focusing on the label boss's solo work and ReGraded catering to a different style altogether - the logical progression was to start a new label that could help introduce this music to a wider audience. Body In The Thames kicks things off on the A side - despite the name he's actually Swedish. His track "Silver Threaded Crystal Beads" is an emotive piece that sits somewhere between early Detroit techno and electro, in the vein of the Motor City godfather Juan Atkins. This is followed by the slinky tech house of "Silky" by London's Peach - a sturdy number supported by ethereal elements. On the flip, NTS host Jay (Siren) presents some moody, heads down techno for the late night on "Balsam Drum" while Yorkshire native Webstarr (De Grey/Mistry) goes deep into the afterhours on the darkly hypnotic "The Muse".
