Review: Ed Black, aka "edbl," is an increasingly prominent hip-hop and R&B artist and composer who has emerged from South London's indie music scene alongside luminaries like Jorja Smith and Jamie Isaac. His sound, a blend of lo-fi soul and hip-hop akin to Jordan Rakei and Tom Misch, garnered attention when Spotify UK featured him on their New Music Friday cover. Additionally, Music Business Worldwide Magazine nominated him as one of The Hottest Independent Artists In The World and now he backs up that potential with 'The Way Things Were,' featuring the mellifluous vocals of Isaac Waddington.

Review: It appears that Taylor Swift has caused somewhat of a revolution, as since the highly publicised feud with her former record label led the pop megastar to re-record and re-release her entire back catalogue, several other artists appear to be following suit by realising there lay a method ahead to reclaim their art. The latest act to take up arms against a faceless corporation (or merely be influenced by the "Taylor's Version" phenomenon) is alternative rock heroes Incubus, who after much delay, are finally ready to unveil an entirely re-recorded version of their critically acclaimed 2001 full-length Morning View. Re-dubbed Morning View XXIII, this newly revitalised version of their seminal fourth album comes on a limited blue vinyl double LP, complete with sonically sprawling renditions of some of their most essential anthems from the alt-metal bounce of 'Nice To Know You' to the anthemic serenity of 'Wish You Were Here' all the way to the aquatic funk of 'Are You In?' If you're yet to cop this early 21st century classic, make Incubus' version your only option.

Review: Originally released in 2005, and considered to be the second solo full-length from nine-fingered metal guitar pioneer Tony Iommi, Fused celebrates its 20th anniversary just a tad early with these revitalised remasters pressed to wax for the first time ever. Written in collaboration with vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (former Black Sabbath frontman during the mid-80s who would assume vocal duties on 1986's Seventh Star; released under the band moniker but long perceived as Iommi's first solitary creative endeavour), and legendary session drummer Kenny Aronoff (The Smashing Pumpkins, Bob Seger, Willie Nelson, John Fogerty, Bon Jovi etc), this limited translucent cobalt blue vinyl 2xLP pressing comes complete with three sporadically dispersed bonus cuts finally locked down onto own complete home.
