Review: While not as celebrated as some of their peers on the Oslo scene, Flunk has a long track record of making genuinely good albums of atmospheric downtempo (or as we like to call it, "Scandolearic") music. Their latest full-length missive, the band's first since 2019 and seventh studio set in total, lives up to the giddy heights of its predecessors, delivering a mixture of dewy-eyed songs, dreamy Americana, folksy treats, atmospheric trip-hop and woozy eyed ambient pop. There's nothing particularly ground-breaking here, but it's still a hugely enjoyable and evocative listen. Perhaps mow they might get the props their track record deserves.
