MIDIコントローラー

A MIDI controller is one of the best ways to unlock the power of your hardware and software instruments. Some controllers follow the style of old analogue hardware like vintage synths and drum machines. Other MIDI controllers and control surfaces opt for a more customisable, versatile approach which can suit any workflow. Some even blur the boundaries of keyboards, pads and expressive physical controls. Whichever you prefer, a good MIDI controller gives you hands-on feel and tactile response. There are lots of different approaches, from hybrid drum machines to mix controllers. Even the most affordable pad controllers now tend to include pressure-sensitive MPC-style pads, faders, rotary controls and easy mapping options to work with a range of software and hardware. Thanks to the universally adopted MIDI standard, all MIDI controllers should be compatible with all MIDI hardware, computer software and mobile devices, with a choice of USB or DIN connection.

Intuitive Instruments Exquis Pure Expressive MIDI Controller
Cat: 1058196 Rel: 15 Jan 25

MIDI controller featuring 61 pressure and position sensitive hexagonal keys
Notes: A user-friendly approach to melody and harmony, the Exquis offers an alternative control method for those who want to break away from conventional keyboards. Compatible with MIDI or CV/gate.

Supplier's notes:
A controller, an app, an instrument.

The Exquis controller gives you immediate access to the rules of harmony to improvise with or without theoretical prerequisites, and offers you dimensions of expressiveness that you can quickly master. In combination with the Exquis app, a unique workflow opens up, allowing you to create an entire song in a few minutes: choose sounds, record loops, play the conductor and structure your songs in complete spontaneity.

Exquis offers an intuitive way to guide you on the right path, while allowing you to get out of it. No hassle: just choose a scale, and follow its luminous path to play in tune. Thanks to our default note layout, it's very easy to make chords; Exquis arranges notes that sound good together next to one another. You will be amazed at how harmony falls under your fingers.

Compared to a piano keyboard, on our note layout the semitones are also arranged horizontally, the harmonious (third) notes are always next to one another, and the intervals starting from any note are always the same. If you prefer, you can change the note layout, and soon even create your own tailored note layout using our editor.

On the default note layout, scales can be simply represented by a pair of light paths; whether you are a beginner, amateur or experienced musician, just follow the colors, with one or two hands, to stay in tune and improvise spontaneously. Explore many scales (major, minor, dorian, oriental...) and soon you will be able to create your own using our editor.

Our default note layout goes back to the basic logic of harmony, putting notes that sound good together (thirds) next to one another vertically. Each type of chord (major, minor, diminished, dominant etc) always forms a single and unique transposable form.

Inspired by the finesse of acoustic instruments, the keys of Exquis are both firm enough to play percussion and short notes with precision, and soft enough to modulate long notes with sensitivity. Tap, press, and tilt multiple keys independently using the MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE) protocol. The encoders (clickable, with infinite and smooth rotation and with a slight resistance) allow you to control the effects of a sound being played, as well as certain essential settings in the various menus.

In order to allow musicians to create new rhythms and moods, the application natively includes exclusive features. For example, we were inspired by the workshops of Jacob Collier and will soon allow the use of tuplets (particular divisions of beats such as 1/5 or 1/7), useful for creating grooves with a drunk effect.

The Exquis keyboard is a MIDI controller compatible with all software, MIDI synthesizers and modular synthesizers. The Exquis app, although optimized for the controller, is also compatible with all MIDI controllers, and like all MIDI controllers, the Exquis keyboard is compatible with most DAWs and plug-ins.

Dear users of modular synthesizers, Exquis connects directly to your favorite devices thanks to the CV outputs: GATE, PITCH and MOD. You can also connect Exquis to your MIDI synthesizers using the MIDI IN and OUT ports.

Intech Studio Grid EF44 4-Encoder & 4-Fader Modular MIDI Controller
Cat: 1032106 Rel: 28 Jan 25

Modular MIDI controller consisting of 4x encoders & 4x faders
Notes: Shape your sound with the EF44 Grid through fine-grained control over performance effects, modulation, panning and much more.

Geared with metal-shaft audio-grade linear faders and detent push-encoders. Seamless use for MIDI CC mapping for your DAW.

Equipped with customisable multi-coloured LED lights to enable labelling in dark environments. Facilitate differentiating each potmeter by changing the colour of each indicator LED, adjusting brightness levels individually or adding pulsing animations. All configurable in the Grid Editor. Each module is flexibly extendable with other Grid controllers enabled by the golden pins and magnets on all sides.

Thanks to its compact and lightweight structure, the EF44 is a fully ergonomic parameter controller. The encoders have a clicky, detent tactile feedback on turning, while the faders have a smooth travel and can be upgraded with old-school mixer style caps.

It is recommended that, Grid is connected directly to the computer with the supplied Intech Studio USB-C cable. Some USB hubs may not work with Grid, due to issues with how the various class compliant communication methods establish connection through a hub with the host computer.

Most digital audio workstations can identify Grid as a MIDI controller and appear as a MIDI mappable device. When multiple modules are interconnected, Grid is identified as a single control surface. If the interconnected controllers are plugged in separately into the same Host, they appear as Grid #1, Grid #2 MIDI devices and so forth.

By default, through the Host's MIDI learn functionality, all of the control elements can be mapped. Grid's default firmware uses a unique dynamic assignment, so a 10 module Grid control surface will have unique Channel, Command and CC/Note assignments on each control element.

Grid controllers are shipped with firmware default configuration. To modify the configurations of the controllers, the Grid Editor cross-platform application can be used. Through the Grid Editor, suggested manufacturer profiles and community profiles are also available. Grid has an event driven architecture, where every interaction with the controller triggers an event. The triggered event runs the configured actions, like setting LED colours and intensity.

Events on Grid available for configuration:
Init - when a page is initialized
Potmeter - fader or potentiometer change event
Encoder - rotation of endless encoders
Button - switch button or encoder interaction
Utility - side button
Midi rx - MIDI processing incoming to Grid
Timer - delayed message triggers

Grids are created to suit distinguished workflows. Whether it comes to controlling outboard hardware gear like synthesizers, guitar pedals, and effect boxes, or inboard software such as DAWs, Lightning, and VSTs, a Grid controller is an ideal choice.
Get started with Grid in an instant: just plug in, snap together and play. There is no need for a brain module or any additional software components.

Intech Studio Grid BU16 16-Button Modular MIDI Controller
Cat: 1032097 Rel: 28 Jan 25

Modular MIDI controller consisting of 16x buttons
Notes: A neat button module with long-lasting 4x4 tactile buttons that provide instant access to triggering samples, launching clips, controlling playback, or just simply drumming.

Set them to momentary, 2 or 3-step toggle action to enjoy playful experimentation. Can be used with other Grid controllers used as a HID macro controller or for MIDI programming in your creative environment.

Equipped with customisable multi-coloured LED lights to enable labelling in dark environments. Facilitate differentiating each potmeter by changing the colour of each indicator LED, adjusting brightness levels individually or adding pulsing animations.

Thanks to its compact and lightweight structure, the BU16 is a fully ergonomic parameter controller with easily mappable push buttons.

It is recommended that Grid is connected directly to the computer with a USB-C cable (this is not included). Some USB hubs may not work with Grid, due to issues with how the various class compliant communication methods establish connection through a hub with the host computer.

Clatters Pocket Garden Listener Portable Random Control Messages Generator
Cat: 1039372 Rel: 03 Dec 24

Portable random control messages generator from biometric signals
Notes: The Pocket Garden Listener is a portable random control messages generator from biometric signals and it's meant to be the compact and desktop version of our Garden Listener eurorack module.

It detects conductivity variations on living beings' surface and transforms them into MIDI notes, ranging from C-1 to C8, and CV signals (0 - 5V).

Its behaviour can be tamed through the one-knob menu from which you can choose and modify:
probes' sensitivity (making it more or less sensitive to current variations)
scale (chromatic, major, minor, Indian and Arabic)
MIDI channel (1 - 16)
LEDs' brightness
USB powered

MIDI data are simultaneously transferred:
via USB, to control DAW plugins and sequences
via TRS, to control any other gear with a MIDI port

Equipped with Trigger, Gate and Control Voltage to control modular and semi-modular gear.

Conductivity variations are detected by the Probes Input and converted into MIDI notes in real time according to the Main menu settings. Each MIDI note exits through the MIDI output and the USB, allowing you to take advantage of the sound of either any synthesizer equipped with a MIDI port or any VST in your DAW, and gets converted into an analogue signal.

Trigger and Gate are fired every time a new note is generated (5V).

All the MIDI notes are converted into variable voltages (0 - 5V) depending on their pitch and exit through the CV output (1V/oct).

The Pocket Garden Listener comes with:
3.5mm white probes
1 set of snap-on adhesive reusable electrode pads
A MIDI-TRS type A adapter for the MIDI output (1m long)
A USB cable (micro type B to type A)
A small Torx-7 key for further calibration
The Pocket Garden Listener comes already calibrated for a proper 1V/oct output.

Supplier's Notes:
The most playable knob controller around.

Each knob doubles as a super powerful button. Turn the encoders to control a parameter in any software and twist their built in buttons to quickly reset the knobs or turn effects on and off. This means each knob is like 3 knobs.

The heart of the Twister are the 16 "Endless Encoders". These are very powerful knobs that don't have a start or ending point. Instead the LED rings show you the position of the knob. This means that the controller and the software are always in sync, even when changing banks, racks or songs on the fly.

The Twister allows for deep customization of every knob across all 4 banks with 5 killer features not found on any other controller. Change LED color, transform an encoder into a DJ filter, enable fine midi control, toggle a parameter on/off, or setup a "shift" knob so pressing a push-encoder activates control of a secondary function

The Midi Fighter twister was designed with producers in mind. We need compact, reliable controllers that are easy to map to our DAW's. The endless encoders respond to the software so everything is always in sync, even when playing back recorded automation.

Combine The Twisters powerful knobs with a DAW template so that every time inspiration strikes, a powerful studio environment is there to support you. This is how the pro's do it - why wouldn't you?

The knobs not only control your typical volume, pan and FX send controls but they also enable a host of quick access to deeper control - only available on the twister. For example, push the encoder to send out a fine resolution range and dial in the exact EQ setting you want. Release and return to normal range control.

You need to be able to react to the dancefloor. Having a dedicated controller is just like being a practiced instrumentalist. Once you have a idea, you can just make it happen as soon the inspiration hits.

*** Firmware update June 2023 ***

If you just bought your Midi Fighter Twister or haven't used the utility in a while chances are you might need to update it's firmware with the latest and greatest. This is a fairly straightforward process as long as you take some extra precautions.

1. Download and install the MF Utility if you don't have it already on your computer (PC/Mac).

2. After you check that any other MIDI related applications (Ableton, Traktor, etc) are closed connect your Twister directly to your computer and open the MF Utility. DO NOT USE A USB HUB

3. Click on "File>Export Settings" and select a destination, this will back up your Twister's settings if you have customized your Twister beforehand and make sure you export it outside of the "Midi Fighter Utility" folder since your OS might lock this location and prevent the MFS file from being generated successfully. If you just got your Twister you can skip this step.

4. If a new firmware is available for your device you should see a message in the utility as soon as your device is detected.

5. Click on the orange UPDATE FIRMWARE button and accept the pop up message warning you not to use a USB hub.

6. Once this process finishes your device will reboot and the MF Utility will now show it has successfully updated the firmware!

Faderfox MX12 12-Channel USB MIDI Mix Controller (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1079809 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.***

MX12 as successor of the UC44 is a universal controller for all kinds of MIDI controllable hardware and software.

You can combine NEW MODULE devices to a large system. The connections are on the right side to allow a back to back placing of two or more devices. Connect two NEW MODULES by a special extension port.

Furthermore, there are 4 MIDI-ports and one USB-port with various routing possibilities.

It is packed in a metal case with the same dimensions like the famous ELEKTRON devices so it's a great extension for these devices. But you can use the mix controller also with your DAW like a classical 12-track-mixer.

The device has 24 standard pots, 12 Faders and 24 buttons in a 12-track-layout, various kinds of MIDI commands like control change, note on/off, pitchbend, aftertouch and program change are possible. You can program every MIDI command for every separate control on the device very fast and easily.

Of course you can assign the pots and keys to any of these commands by learning incoming MIDI commands, which is the same procedure you know from your software/DAW. The pots work with standard resolution of 7 bit to have full compatibility to any software and hardware instrument, effect and DAW. Use the internal 30 setups to save your individual settings. Backup and restore of all settings by sysex dumps is possible too.

The factory settings are perfect to control music and video software products out of the box if they are freely assignable. So any additional device programming isn't necessary for many applications.

Some special setups are preconfigured for use with ELEKTRON RYTM and ABLETON LIVE.

Check out this amazing power box and you will get a reliable mate...

Supplier's Notes:
MPC Studio is a Complete MPC System

MPC Studio brings the total MPC experience to your computer by combining intuitive hardware control and innovative, inspiring software. Load a loop from the library, chop it into samples, lay down a beat, then play instruments over it to add more melodic textures. Add some insert effects to develop your song structure and arrangement, or to build drops and transitions. MPC Studio makes your workflow one continuous stream of non-stop creativity.

Premium Pads for Perfect Production

Pad performance is the top priority for any beat maker. With MPC Studio, you can be confident that every beat and note will be right on time, every time. Velocity-sensitive RGB pads mean maximum expression, whether you're playing soft melodies or booming kick drums with coloured visuals to keep track of your velocities and pad groupings. Switch from Note to Chord Mode quickly and build out your tracks right as inspiration strikes.

Assignable Touch Strip Control and Expression

Create your own signature sounds with the assignable Touch Strip. This fluid controller bends and shapes your sounds however you want. Make that pad synth more mysterious with a swell, control the roll of your hi-hats to fill your trap drumbeat, or make that guitar part more realistic by articulating the strum right where you need it. Assign any of the numerous knobs, sliders, and parameters to the Touch Strip for new and inventive manipulation of any track. Add dynamic and real-time Touch Strip effects for the ultimate live production and performance.

Colour Screen for Vibrant Feedback

When you're locked in the creative moment, the vibrant colour screen ensures you can keep your hands on the MPC Studio and your focus on the music. Whether you need to trim a waveform, browse through instruments, samples, and plugin presets, or adjust parameters on the fly, the screen gives you the visual feedback you need in a moment's glance without having to stop your workflow and reach for your laptop. When it comes to your musical efficiency, every moment matters, and every move needs to help you effectively capture your ideas to finish your songs faster.
