The unstoppable Golf Channel has got it on lock-down with this latest slab of wax from NYC scene dwellers Robbie Busch and Josh Dunn - both of them present during the city's golden era and two blokes who have seen it all - who appear here under the LGK moniker. These two house gems are unquestionably killer thanks to their tough but intricate sound design, both cuts are masterfully filtered and washed-out. "I Like It" is a Pepe Bradock style cut with a bubby bassline, funky tones and dashes of gritty experimentation, whereas "Please" is looser and more soulful, chopped-up and echoed out in fine style - that filter lurking in the back is simply class.
