Saving My Love (4:18)
Review: Adam Port, &ME and Rampa at team up with Little Dragon are quite the collaboration here on 'Saving My Love', a one track 12' where the deep house sound of Berlin collides with Swedish pop sensibilities. Proper mood music for late night basement parties, the Keinemusik trio's idiosyncratic style of bold, emotive and futuristic groove is the perfect backdrop to Yukumi Nagano's breathtaking vocals. Tip!

2000 & One - "Work" (Late Nite NYC edit)
Len Faki - "Odyssee I"
Review: Podium presents 'Work (Late Nite NYC Mix)', just the type of track that was always missing in your record case. Where
other contemporary house tracks dissolve the tension with superfluous sounds, 2000 And One's production has a striking,
efficient economy. He condenses the uplifting nature of this style of music: with the compellingly humble bassline and the
restrained fanfare, New York House sparkles in its most basic beauty. It is music that cultivates simplicity as an art form.

Soz Adams - "Broken Thought"
Soz Adams - "Liars Chair"
Luka & Lazo - "The Safe"
Luka & Lazo - "Mood Mood"
Review: Archipel brings in it's new friends, Soz Adams and Luka & Lazo, for it's fifth vinyl outing, "Tahiti Excursion Joint 2". Soz starts things off with "Broken Thought", a thumping, sweaty, late-night floor mover which is sure to bend limbs in ways never witnessed before. "Liars Chair" is a slightly slower pusher which twists and melts along through corroded vocal snippets and dark polyrhythmic moments. Luka & Lazo take the same attitude of dark funk from Soz's a-side journey and shred it into a million pieces. "The Safe" is warmer tinged funk but still keeps things moving and grooving while "Mood Mood" jacks along and rips up a world of digital fabric.

ADMNTi - "Liquor Locker" (7:55)
ADMNTi - "BetaSpace" (8:02)
Laidlaw - "Open To Receive" (5:07)
Laidlaw - "Repeated Patterns" (5:54)
Review: Sonder is a new London-based label dealing in sprightly tech house with plenty of wiggle. Cutting the ribbon is ADMNTi, who has been on superlative form via releases for Dansu Discs, 4Plae and Yamanu amongst others. His 'Liquor Locker' and 'BetaSpace' cuts are splashed with a little sunshine, some garage bump and subtle trance touches, all the better to grease up the dancefloor. Laidlaw takes up position on the flip, offering his own strain of shuffling funky stuff for the peak time crowd. 'Open To Receive' has a subtly spiritual slant to it, while 'Repeated Patterns' gets into a snaking house trip with cheeky hooks and snappy basslines for days.

Funky/Club House
Nightshade (Alexkid club remix)
Nightshade (Tekel Junior mix)
Review: The a-side on "Nightshade" is a pure old school vocal version remixed by Alexkid. Groovy and long-building, this track has obsessing gimmick and a deep bass turning it into a hypnotic trip. The b-side was reworked by talented and acclaimed duet from France, Tekel (Initial Cuts, Crosstown Rebels). With a strong kick and a dub approach of the vocals, this is a pure techno mix which perfectly completes the package of remixes already delivered on the Vol 1 of the series.

Nightshade (Chicken Lips vocal mix)
Nightshade (Rodriguez Junior mix)
Review: A remix signed by some of the most creative remixers of the moment. Built around a strong bass line and deep kick, this funky dub mix with disco sequences brings the vocal in after a long building break with a second part of the mix which turns have funky anthem feel with percussions and organ line. The B side is remixed by Rodriguez Jr (half of the Youngsters and who did release an amazing 12" on F..U). A minimal vocal version that is full of melody takes the track in an amazing direction. A mix dedicated to radios and after hours parties in Ibiza!

Andrey Djackonda - "Calida Noche" (7:00)
Dimitri Monev - "Makalu" (7:45)
Leparente - "Leflor" (6:38)
Maarka - "Reveranz" (10:31)
Review: Moldova-based Resonanz are back with their third edition of minimal oddball house grooves. Considering its close proximity to Romania; we're definitely interested in hearing what this bunch is up to. Starting out with the hypnotic low-slung tribalism of Andrey Djackonda's "Calida Noche", we then get treated to Dimitri Monev's "Makaulu" a druggy broken beat experiment in maximalism reminiscent of Barac or Suciu; it's pretty wicked! On the flip the loopy and dusty deepness of Leparente's "Leflor" will definitely get good vibes happening at the after-hours while Maarka's "Reveranz" is exactly the kind of tunnelling trance inducing groove that we like, kind of like when Cristi Cons or Vid are on point, if you get what we mean?

Review: Refune, Sebastian Ingrosso's imprint, release their follow on from Til West's "Same Man" that reached number 1 in the Coolcut's chart as a re - entry (signed to Data). Steve Angello's own Size imprint continues to grow -"Teasing Mr Charlie" & "Straight" have just been signed to the next Cream compilation - as well as having a mammoth touring schedule. DJ support for Refune's 6th release from: Tall Paul "Sounds great, original mix for me"; Robbie Rivera "Badass - love it!"; King Unique "Sounds good"; David Guetta "I have played this alot already, Steve gave it to me, it's great!"; Eddie Halliwell (Radio 1) "A possible last minute inclusion for the album. Into the original mix, probably use it on the show"; Funk D'Void "Great production"; Andi Durrant (Galaxy Network) "This tracks is HOT!! Awesome piece of work. Will be playing this on the radio and in our Riley & Durrant club sets - will give it a spin over the weekend at Hi Fi, Love Leeds and Gatecrasher"; Dan Mangan (Kiss FM) "HOT, both mixes have a time and place but the original mix is gonna be Hooj"; Dave Lambert (DJ Mag / Hype Chart) "Huge as usual with Steve and Luke! Love it and will chart / play this!"; Dean Facer (CRMK / Hype Chart) "I'm liking the Laidback Luke mix of this track, very nice indeed! Will be giving this plenty of support"; Hector Romero "This ones on point - both mixes actually - will be on all summer"; Huggy (XFM) "Very cool cuts, I'll try them out over the next few weeks"; Mannix (DJ Mag / Double Jackpot) "Top 10 in my charts and already tested both mixes this weekend to large crowds with a great result on the Laidback Luke mix!!". Anonym - "Go Deeper" (Kenny Larkin remix)
Soulmate - "Set Fire To My Feet" (Chez Damier Set Fire To My Feet mix)
Leonel Castillo - "Stone Peace" (Delano Smith remix)
Review: Sushitech finally unveil the second round of Tessera remixes and they've really gone to town here with contributions from Chicago and Detroit heavyweights. Kenny Larkin takes over the A Side with a superlative remix of Anonym, infusing "Go Deeper" with some vintage Motor City soul via deep organ flourishes and searing strings. This is more than matched by Chez Damier who adds some real bump to the drum programming of Soulmate's "Set Fire To My Feet", retaining the bassline throb but replacing the hopeful mood with something altogether sleazier. Finally Leonel Castillo's subaqueous exercise in filtered jazzy deepness is given a soaring once over from Delano Smith, who adds some weight to the groove and introduces delightful chords for good measure. Essential stuff!

Lulla - "99 Year Old Port" (7:40)
Petit Batou - "Tadam Tadam" (7:51)
Review: We've become relentless pushers of (albeit, only the best) minimal and tech house as of late, and of this batch, French label Stamp Records almost certainly head up the microgenre, microhouse. Welcoming four funky affiliates with a flair for fleeting feels, every track here is a beautiful vignette. In the future, when we have flying cars, Alich & Simo's 'Ahlia' might function as a fittingly dreamy and esoteric soundtrack for late cosmic nightrides. Meanwhile, Lulla's '99 Year Old Port' works better for scouring underwater sewage systems and future undersea tunnels. Sample-heavy, light and flighty.

Review: New various sampler on Safari Electronique. A connection between France, England, Italy & Japan. This release is again a new story for Safari; Marc Ashken (Leftroom) produced a powerful dancefloor track played by Craig Richards & all Fabric's resident DJs. The potential of this track is high and has too been played at Ibiza this summer at Space. Akiko Kiyama gives her normal high standards for this EP. Luca Bachetti from Italy will have support from the Italian dance scene for sure and further a field also. Of course, the last track is from the label manager himself. Surely you cannot miss this one.

Review: Moscow label BodyParts Records has become a byword for quality minimal fare since its emergence a few years back and this latest offering is their most comprehensive yet. V3 pairs up six producers across two slabs of vinyl and will probably become one of those double packs that doesn't leave your box. The future tribalism of Nu Zau's "Noise" stands out here, as does the bristling abstract grooves of Anrilov & Bvoice collaboration "Budet". The chiming beauty and simple beats of "Rose Bleue" by Clovis might just be our favourite contribution here however.

Pavane (12:07)
Review: Having launched the label with two fine 12" singles last year, Barac returns to his Moment imprint for the first time since. This time round, the Romanian producer has joined forces with established French composer Lyonel Bauchet. The latter has a reputation for creating masterful electronic symphonies using vintage analogue gear. These modern classical roots are much in evidence on the brilliant, 12-minute "Buchla Market", where Bauchet's intoxicating, almost Arabic electronics cluster around Barac's tension-building, minimal techno rhythms. They're perhaps less evident on the slightly spacey - but more percussively chunky - "Pavane", but it's still a fine chunk of atmospheric, late night techno.

On the b-side there are 18 loop grooves produced by artists who have released on the Mo's Ferry sublabel. The collection is well assorted and

Lechuga Zafiro - "Sapo De Manga"
Matias Aguayo - "El Transatlantico"
Alejandro Paz - "El House"
Christian S - "Die Durch Die Nase Lachen"
Review: The Comeme juggernaut gathers pace with the label's fourth release of the year, veering off from the impressive full artists release schedule set by Barnt, Ana Helder and Phil Gorbachev for one of their trademark split releases. Featuring no less than six tracks, El Untitled offers an equal share of artists resident to the Comeme cause and newcomers. Buenos Aires DJ and production duo Carisma (Carolina Stegmayer and Ismael Pinkler) fall into the latter category but feel perfectly at home on Comeme on the basis of opening track "Muerte Instrumental" which pairs chunky almost stadium rock drums with wavering sinewave stabs and skittering radio interference - if Mr Oizo was born in South America he might make music like this. Columbian Gladkazuka debuts proper a remix on the label's recent compilation with the detuned and dusty twilight sojourn through Medellin that is the title track, whilst Lechuga Zafiro offers some Uruguayan flavour to the Comeme cause for the first time with the chirping Candombe rhythmic of "Sapo The Manga". The flip pairs together new cuts from Aguayo, Paz and Christian S which in no way overshadow whats come before.

Review:
Long Vehicle loads up some seriously high class cargo for this second voyage. It's a various artists affair that will having you honking your horn in no time. Carmel & Solomo pair off for the punchy but roomy deep house opener, which is silky as you like. Edward immediately switches it up with a bleeping, glitchy electroid cut but on a rugged drum line. Laras '3N16M4' is slinky and icy electro that rides on waves of cosmic synth and bumping grooves, then Grant Dell closes on house territory with the lovely acidic loops of 'Intoxication.'

Review: This new collection offers up a quartet of tracks that are all tailored for slightly different moments on the dance floor. On side A, Dani Casarano kicks off with deep, hypnotic grooves that make for an immersive atmosphere before transitioning to punchy, bass-driven energy with other cuts. Side B introduces a new alter ego from Felian and Bruno Schmidt and the pair explore a robotic, looping groove with incidental breaks and nostalgic synths in the euphoric third track. Closing the release in style, Omar Akrhif & Lucretio present a minimalist masterpiece that is aimed at heady after-hours sessions.

Russia's Promonova follows up a great release on King Street last year with his surefire funk edit "Feel Alright This Morning". On the flip there's more highlights, with Riki Inocente's late night funky house remix of B and Levan's second contribution "No Trouble" and finally Rapson's ode to the NYC deep sound "Heat" (Exclusive extended mix). Review: The Fruit Medley series has been hella juicy so far so we're glad another edition is ripe and ready for picking to kick off the label's 2025 season. This one features all newcomers starting with Cromie's 'Timereite', a chubby and clubby tech pumper with full throttle rhythms. Wilba's 'New Recipes' has lush synth smears over grinding low ends that echo early West Coast tech, and Darren Roach then gets a little deeper on the percolating 'Brettski Colectski'. Lazer Man's 'Time Of Ghosts' closes down with a mid-tempo, off-kilter house cut with steely drums and distant alien activity.

My Voice (Christian Smith remix)
Review: Swedish label Tronic have put out a solid flow of pumping tribal house and techno from BOTH well established and upcoming artists since their birth in 1998. For their 67th wax release they welcome D Nox & Beckers; "My Voice'" is a tough and rumbling trip made distinctively for the dark caverns and eerie corners of nocturnal bodies and minds. Warped "my voice" vocals robotically moan over sharp and cutting drum patterns, adding drama to the already spooky samples. Christian Smith's remix on the flip is a marching house adaptation. The rhythm is manipulated into an easy-to-swallow groove and drum patterns are lovingly re-worked, with Smith managing to turn a hard hitting, underground affair into an upbeat track with far more capabilities - Juno's pick hands down.

Track 1 (4:11)
Track 2 (5:31)

Track 4 (2:19)
Review: Marvin Dash and Lowtec combine to serve up some house grooves here that perfectly embody the Workshop sound. They are lovably loose-limbed, dusty and ramshackle, and almost feel as if they may fall apart at any given moment, but that is the joy of them. Instead, they keep you locked amongst rickety drums, frayed pads and imperfect little vocal hooks that bring the soul. 'Track 1' does that with a hazy feel, 'Track 2' is more one out with a dubby undercurrent and sustained keys and 'Track 3' brings little more prickle and drive, like a super raw Omar-S track. 'Track 4' is all about the prying, bulbous bassline that unfurls with a mind of its own beneath DIY percussive sounds.

Lost In A Moment (9:54)
Lost In A Moment (Dixon rework) (9:28)
Review: The Innervisions crew has long been fans of Matthew Dekay and Lee Burridge's "Lost in a Moment", which first appeared on a largely forgotten Ame compilation back in 2012. Here, the track gets its first proper single release, backed with a fresh rework by label co-founder Dixon. The original, a dreamy, emotion-rich and occasionally melancholic affair blessed with heart-aching piano motifs and flotation tank chords, remains a fine chunk of melodious tech-house bliss and is well worthy of this first vinyl appearance. Dixon takes it in a slightly different direction on his similarly epic rework, layering the original's mazy synthesizer solos over a slightly foreboding backing track rich in druggy arpeggio synthesizer lines and oblique Turkish flourishes.

Review: SPIL Records follows up its impressive vinyl debut here with a second 12" release featuring fresh tracks from label head Jack Swift and Scott Diaz. Diaz kicks off with 'Like Dis' which is all classic US house drums and bouncy bass, then Timmy P & Lunoize's 'Ouch' is a swirling, vocal-laced party starter. Swift then offers 'Burning' which is a lively garage house cut with throwback diva vocals. Devstar's Feel The Vibe remix shuts down with some more naughty, dark and dirty bassline sounds perfect for pumping up the floor.

Mark Nicholas O - "Deep Groove" (6:00)
Review: Hailing from New Mexico and on a mission to uphold the principles of soulful house music, Plastik People offer up another fine selection of operators who understand the legacy laid down by the pioneers of true deepness. DJ Aakmael has been doing his thing on labels like Uzuri and his own UnXpozd Entertainment for a long time, and he's on perfect form on "Deeprespectrak" (with a little assistance on the mic as well). Lars Behrenroth meanwhile brings a drum heavy pressure to the otherwise smooth "Infection", and Mark Nicholas O lays down a sharp and nagging garage beat laden with jazzy licks.

Emergency Delivery (Politics Of Dancing remix) (6:42)
Review: French house vet DJ Freddy steps up on Politics Of Dancing with a surefire party starter with "Emergency Delivery". From the disco blips to the snappy vocal slices, it's everything a peak time belter should be, marking the seasoned producer's first trip out in nearly 10 years in style. Archie Hamilton steps up for a sophisticated remix that subtly dubs out the original, while the Politics Of Dancing crew turn in a version that strips everything back to the rhythm core with a mean acid rub tooled up for the deeper end of the dance.

Motiv (6:08)
Review: We're told that these tunes on the new Kest 12" were "recorded in the path of the Andean mountains that crosses the whole city of Bogota," which is where the label is based. Whether or not that adds anything specific to the sounds we're not sure but they are nice minimal grooves all the same. '2000s' is a light, airy number with pulsing synths that move it onward. 'Kosmove' is more trippy with its psychedelic patterns looping over crisp metal beats. 'Rokicks' brings some prog and acid hints from the 90s and 'Motiv' shuts down with a nice celestial and dreamy number for the heads.

DJ Sossa - "Rossobarbera"
Luc Ringeisen - "Bells" (Lee Van Dowsky remix)
Review: Very first release of the brand new Ibiza based label Vinyl Club Recordings, born in the record shop Vinyl Club in Ibiza, and dedicated to the most underground and avant-garde dance music. Label boss Luc Ringeisen hails from France but now lives on the island, and has been remixed on the A side by techno master Lee Van Dowski (Num records, Cadenza), and the original minimal track has become a really dark and trippy modern techno tune. B side, 'Rossobarbera', has already been played in DC-10 in Ibiza since 2006 opening parties by its creator DJ Sossa (aka Alessandro Di Maria - Circo Loco resident, producing together with sound engineer Marco Scocchi) and other residents like Fabrizio (Circo Loco), another active partner of the Vinyl Club Recordings project.

Jean Bressan - "Apartment 303" (7:16)
Review: Aesthetic Audio are back with another grip of sleek and refined tech house rollers to keep you bumping from dusk 'till dawn. First up, Dudley Strangeways lays down a smooth blend of cosy organ tones and crisp, shuffling drums that lend themselves to the warm-up as much as the after-hours. Loht Vostok's 'La Luz' has a tighter uptempo flavour, but it's still resolutely deep. TIJN takes things in a mellow, introspective direction without slouching on the groove, and Jean Bressan taps into a playful, artfully sculpted vibe with plenty of funk. If you're looking for something sophisticated to slip into a long and winding session, this record will have you covered four times over.

Review: Exxtra Beats Records backs up its commitment to pushing things on with a new four-tracker of minimal and tech cuts. Edo Ecker's 'Extraluxxo' has warped synth lines that encourage introspection while the snappy beats make you move physically. Leff's 'Future Problems' has hazy and positive arpeggios that toot away over sustained chords and move at a nice inviting pace. Little Sea offers the snappy drums and gurgling acid lines of 'How I Wanna Feel' while Andrea Bertoli & DJ Bogdan's 'Extremely On Line' is a snappy and upbeat cosmic tech cut with wonky lines adding the charm.

Review: Double drop of big room techno thud from some of Glasgow's finest via the less than prolific Slant imprint. Edit Select teams up with Alex Smoke for the arid bleep filled relentlessness of "The Retainer", with masked vocal edits adding more than a hint of robotic menace. This sense of menace continues on "Valentino" by Soma stalwart Let's Go Outside, appearing in the industrial haze of the bassline and spreading to the Herculean kicks.
