Over the last few years, MOOER has released several Prime multi-effects devices, including the Prime P1, P2, S1, and most recently in 2024, the Prime Minimax M1. Excitingly, the company is kicking off 2025 with a brand new addition to the Prime family-the Prime Minimax M2 Intelligent Pedal.

Within this small multi-effects device, a whole lot of functionality is packed in, including an impressive 194 effects models, including overdrive, preamp simulators, cabinet models, delays, reverbs, modulation effects etc., and more. In typical MOOER style, though, the company took things a step further by offering limitless flexibility through the support of its in-house MNRS sample files, as well as third-party IR sample files. Essentially, this means that users can download additional tonal emulations and effects from the MOOER Cloud and third-party sources to the device, which they can then save across 80 preset slots.

As with some past models in the Prime series, the M2 sports a convenient touchscreen design, facilitating easy browsing through the device's banks of presets. However, guitarists are not limited to interfacing with the pedal in this way, as it also features two footswitches, both of which can be used to switch between presets in each bank. There is even a MIDI jack built into the device, enabling users to connect their MIDI controllers to extend the control functions, and the MOOER F4 wireless footswitch support is also supported. Extra features are included to complete this all-in-one pedal, including a high-precision tuner with fully customizable frequency ranges. Guitarists can even leverage the M2's built-in Bluetooth input support, allowing them to practice, jam, and even produce looped musical structures over their favorite backing tracks, band prototypes, and musical pieces.

Perhaps unsurprisingly for existing MOOER product users, the Prime M2 also boasts an impressive variety of audio routing systems. Notes: Over the last few years, MOOER has released several Prime multi-effects devices, including the Prime P1, P2, S1, and most recently in 2024, the Prime Minimax M1. Excitingly, the company is kicking off 2025 with a brand new addition to the Prime family-the Prime Minimax M2 Intelligent Pedal.

Within this small multi-effects device, a whole lot of functionality is packed in, including an impressive 194 effects models, including overdrive, preamp simulators, cabinet models, delays, reverbs, modulation effects etc., and more. In typical MOOER style, though, the company took things a step further by offering limitless flexibility through the support of its in-house MNRS sample files, as well as third-party IR sample files. Essentially, this means that users can download additional tonal emulations and effects from the MOOER Cloud and third-party sources to the device, which they can then save across 80 preset slots.

As with some past models in the Prime series, the M2 sports a convenient touchscreen design, facilitating easy browsing through the device's banks of presets. However, guitarists are not limited to interfacing with the pedal in this way, as it also features two footswitches, both of which can be used to switch between presets in each bank. There is even a MIDI jack built into the device, enabling users to connect their MIDI controllers to extend the control functions, and the MOOER F4 wireless footswitch support is also supported. Extra features are included to complete this all-in-one pedal, including a high-precision tuner with fully customizable frequency ranges. Guitarists can even leverage the M2's built-in Bluetooth input support, allowing them to practice, jam, and even produce looped musical structures over their favorite backing tracks, band prototypes, and musical pieces.

Perhaps unsurprisingly for existing MOOER product users, the Prime M2 also boasts an impressive variety of audio routing systems. As was previously mentioned, that includes Bluetooth input, as well as industry standards such as dual-channel stereo output, perfect for stereo delay and modulation effects. Notes: The SetonixSynth Marsupial is a new dual filter design based around the re-issued AS3350 filter IC, originally used in rare synths such as the Synton Syrinx, Crumar Spirit and Rhodes Chroma but never widely utilized. Normalization between the control inputs and a Series/Parallel switch makes it simple to dial in a huge variety of unique and musical filter sounds.

Notes: The QSlider black is an analogue CV source with four 60 mm faders.

The control range of the four sliders can be defined with two min/max controls.

The Min controller determines the output voltage at zero position of the slider and the Max controller determines the output voltage at the end position of the slider.

The slider now regulates between these two voltages. This allows you to restrict the control range and still have the entire control path of the slider available.

The reverse voltage is available at a second output socket (min and max are reversed). This means that the slider can also be used as a crossmix fader.

Two common channels can be operated unipolar or bipolar. The voltage ranges are 0..+10V or +/- 5V.

The output sockets are located on an extra 4HP panel for mounting at any point (with approx. 40cm long connection cable). This means that several modules can also be mounted seamlessly next to each other.

Coaxial driver
Mounted in the center of the woofer is a 30mm silk dome tweeter in a coaxial configuration. Using this technology (unique in its price range) makes it a point source device, meaning that all the sound emanates from a single point - not points that are 10" apart. This is crucial for improving off-axis response, but also allows for a more compact footprint cabinet.
Other benefits using coaxial studio monitors are sound clartiy and imaging.

New, contoured baffle enclosure design
Keeping true to the original keyhole design, the FX enclosure has been updated with a complex radius front baffle, which not only looks pretty cool, it improves cabinet defraction.

Boundary compensation DIP switches
Sometimes the spaces where we mix aren't the most forgiving acoustically (especially if you're in a home studio).
The FX series monitors come equipped with boundary control EQ switches, that allow you to compensate for spaces that may not have been tuned or just need to be adjusted due to their proximity to the wall behind them. There is also a guide conveniently printed on the rear panel to show how the DIP switches work, and a more detailed explanation in the user guide.

Class D and DSP powered
The FX80 is a Class-D bi-amplified studio monitor.Class-D benefits are clean, reliable power, more headroom, less power consumption and heat.

LED indicator on front baffle
The illuminated LED on the front panel is not only a status indicator, displaying whether the FX monitor is on, off or in standby, but also acts as an alignment beacon which allows you to properly align your speakers to your ear level.

A Coaxial Monitor for the 21st Century
The Fluid Audio Coaxial speaker design is notably different from traditional coaxial designs. Coaxial studio monitors in the 50's and 60's placed the high frequency driver behind the woofer, porting the high frequency through the woofer's voice coil opening. This design effectively used the woofer's cone as the wave guide, or horn. Since the woofer's cone is constantly moving (sometimes dramatically as it plays bass frequencies), there is a significant amount of Intermodulation distortion and audible smearing that happens as the high frequency radiates off the woofer's cone.

The coaxial design of the Fluid Audio FX series places the high frequency device in front of the woofer, secured to a fixed post. The tweeter is mounted in a hard plastic wave guide that allows the high frequencies to flow uninterrupted, so there is no audio smearing from the woofer's movements. By using the on-board DSP, 48 and 36db per octave Linkwitz-Riley slopes not only perfectly blend the low and high frequencies, but are also used to filter out acoustic anomalies inherent in coax designs (as the tweeter does not have a full size baffle to radiate from.) In addition to these unique benefits, users get all the other known benefits of a coaxial driver Symmetrical off-axis response (which creates a bigger, more even and consistent sweet spot) and that of being a point source device, which allows better phase coherence between drivers resulting in extremely realistic imaging. Whether upright or laid on its side, the Fluid Coaxial design will perform identically making studio positioning easier and more user friendly.

Front-loaded slot port design
The bass-reflex slot port tunes the cabinet to maximize the bass output efficiency of the speaker. It is placed on the front panel not only to directly radiate the bass energy towards the listener, but also for flexibility of placement in your studio.

Updated Tweeter Grille protection
The FX coax design, with the tweeter suspended in the middle of the woofer, is very robust. As such, it provides outstanding protection for the woofer itself. However, the tweeter needs protection as well, this is why we added a small, steel perforated grille to protect the delicate silk diaphragm of the tweeter.

It's one thing to put high quality speaker drivers in a cabinet with an amplifier and call it a great speaker. But for a transparent reference monitor, that is only the beginning.

(Delay And Reverb)

Motion Pictures combines lush delay and reverb with intuitive, powerful controls within a 10HP module. Choose between a crisp digital delay or a warm analogue delay and pair it with a spacious, large-hall stereo reverb. Delay and reverb levels can be adjusted independently, allowing you to use them separately or together. The delay time can be controlled using a knob, tap tempo, or CV. You can even send opposing CV signals to the tap tempo and delay time for glitchy, pitch-bending, rhythmic effects. Additionally, CV control extends to the feedback, delay, and reverb levels, providing greater flexibility. Motion Pictures offers rich ambient sounds in a compact design, combining delay and reverb in one module to optimize rack space while preserving sonic depth.

The Polychrome Flanger is a true bypass, all analogue Flanger pulling in familiar layout controls from the Julia and Lillian.
Dial in a wealth of colourful flange with the D-F-V blend knob and the shape and voice switches.
The Shape Switch lets you select from sine, triangle, or random LFO wave to modulate the delay line

The Voice Switch lets you select between two voices for the flanging effect.
In the down position, the flanger is more traditional and full frequency.
In the up position, you get a more complex and notched flange effect with less low end.

Like the other members of the Walrus Audio modulation family, the Polychrome has a blend knob. The D-F-V (Dry, Flange, Vibrato) knob lets you blend the dry and delayed signal from full dry at minimum (no effect), to traditional flange at noon to full pitch vibrato at maximum. Don't sleep on the vibrato sounds in the Polychrome.
Set the D-F-V knob to maximum, feedback to a minimum, and the voice switch up for some unique pitch vibrato.

Top mounted input, output, and power jacks as well as soft switch relay bypassing make the Polychrome fit well on your board and ensure smooth operation for years to come.
