Notes: This module has 1/8" jacks to accept either mono or stereo audio signals from your modular gear.

It features input level indicator LEDs, and contains all the gain control circuitry necessary to drive external audio gear at the proper levels.

A ribbon cable is included for connecting it to either the Stereo Out Jacks 1U module, or a compatible Intellijel case with 1/4" jacks (e.g. 7U x 104HP, 7U x 84HP, or Palette 62).

Notes: Mixup is a versatile, expandable audio mixer for Eurorack format. It has eight inputs (6 on the front panel) and two outputs. Inputs 1 and 2 are single-channel mono inputs, each with its own mute switch and level control; Input 3 is a dual-channel stereo input with a shared mute and level control; and input 4 is an auxiliary unity-gain, non-mutable stereo input.

Using bus connectors on the back panel, you can chain multiple Mixups together in series, giving you the ability to mix together even more inputs, or to create sub-mixes for routing around larger systems.

Because Mixup is designed specifically for audio (and not for CV mixing), it uses AC-coupled circuitry (which reduces the potential for 'pops' when muting and unmuting audio), and it uses audio-grade, logarithmic attenuators for a smooth, even response across the entire volume range.

Notes: Befaco's new Output Module is designed to be the master output for your modular system, providing an extra Cue Input to monitor any signal.

Left IN is routed to both channels when no Right signal is present. Both Outputs are TRS balanced.

A Headphones out is available. You can route Headphone OUT to the main out or an independent signal with CUE switch. Like this you can either pre-listen your sounds with the CUE Input or listen to your main out without disturbing your neighbours!

Level LEDs are available to monitor levels of each signal on the module.

Notes: Noise Random Tools comprises a collection of useful utility blocks that you could use in many of your patches - Clock, Random Pulse, Analog Noise, Sample and Hold, and Slew.

Notes: The Voltage Controlled Amplifier or "VCA" is one of the most essential and useful building blocks in a synthesis patch. The DUAL VCA 1U packs two high quality, DC coupled, linear VCAs into a very compact 1U package.

The two VCAs can be used completely independently or in tandem via the handy signal normalling. The DC coupling means that the VCA can be used for the amplitude control of both control voltages (CV) and audio signals.

Some application/use examples:

- Dual, independent VCA for dynamic level control of two different audio or cv sources
- Stereo VCA (use the CV normalling where CV A normals to CV B) for processing stereo sources or CV pairs.
- CV/Audio summing (when Out A is not patched, it normals to sum with OUT B, CV A and B control the independent levels)
- Voltage/signal doubling (use input A only and the doubled voltage will appear at OUT B when a CV of +5V applied to CV A)

Notes: Triplatt is a three-channel active/buffered attenuverter and summing mixer. Each channel has a knob, which can function as a unipolar attenuator or a bipolar attenuverter, depending on the setting of its corresponding two-position polarity switch.

Each input is normalled to a built-in precision +5V DC voltage source. With nothing plugged into the jacks, each knob controls a voltage range of 0 to +5 V or -5 to +5 V depending on the position of the channel polarity switch. Outputs A and B are also capable of a range of 0-10 / -10 to +10 when using the special function switches.

Each output is normalled to mix into the output of the channel below, making it possible to do sub mixes in groups of two or three.

In addition, each channel has a "special function" switch to alter its input voltage in a specific way. Channel A has a 2x voltage multiplier switch, allowing you to double the voltage sent into Channel A. Channel B has a +5V switch, allowing you to add 5V to whatever voltage is sent into Channel B. Channel C has a mute switch, allowing you to completely turn off the signal being sent into Channel C.

Notes: 3xMIA is a 6-channel attenuverting mixer/offset/scale/polarizer.

3 blocks of 2-channel attenuverting mixers, using dual concentric pots. Each channel can be switched to mix with the subsequent channel, allowing for 2-2-2, 4-2, 6 mix configurations.

With nothing plugged into an input, an offset is normalled to that channel. The inner knobs control the A inputs, while the outer knobs control the B inputs.

DC coupled, so it can be used for audio, CV, or both at the same time.

Notes: Outs enables your modular system to output both professional and prosumer compliant audio, and send it to external amplifiers, mixers, recording devices, or DAW interfaces. Using the L+R Level knob, it scales modular-level voltages down to the level required to drive external gear at either the +4dBu balanced professional line-level standard or the -10 dbV unbalanced standard.

Headphone monitoring is also provided via a low noise built-in headphone amp (with its own independent level control), capable of driving a wide range of impedances - from studio grade headphones to portable style earbuds.

To use Outs, simply connect the final output of your patch to the 1/8" inputs (where the built-in activity LEDs light up to indicate the presence and intensity of the input signal). The left input is normalled to the right, so you can create a stereo signal from a mono source. Or if you have an Intellijel Mixup, you can remove a jumper from its rear panel, and connect it to the Outs module using the 3-pin link cable included with the Mixup.

Notes: Mix up to four stereo channels in just 4hp, or chain multiple modules together to add channels. Inputs are normalled for mono operation. Simple, compact and high quality at a reasonable price.

Notes: Inamp is a dual pre-amp in just 4 HPs. Featuring 6,3 Jacks inputs as well as Minijacks.

Both inputs are summed so you can use them at the same time as an input mixer.

The unit is designed to amplify up to x20 the input signal, allowing to amplify most of the music machines out there (Domestic line levels) as well as some guitars (Humbucker-like pickups and so).

The first channel is normalled to second one in series, so it's possible to have two stages of amplification or two separate ones.

Notes: Creatively inspiring business from Xaoc as usual. The Erfurt is a digital phase accumulator, digital oscillator, binary counter or clock/audio frequency divider. Versatile stuff.

Xaoc Devices Erfurt is a digital module that may be used as an 8-output clock and audio frequency divider, a bi-directional binary counter, or a component of the Leibniz binary system, i.e. a programmable digital oscillator.

Erfurt features an 8-bit register which holds its current state: an 8-bit number representing digital values from 0 to 255. The state is available at the front panel via eight binary (5V gate) outputs and reflected by the 8 status LEDs. There are three clock inputs: one incrementing the state at each impulse, one decrementing, and one resetting the state to zero. The state may also be changed manually with two buttons.

When operating alone, the state of Erfurt changes by 1 at each impulse from the clock inputs, so that it counts from 0 to 255 in a cycle (modulo 256). This yields the signal frequency divided by 2, 4, 8, etc. up to 128, available at individual bit outputs. Depending on which clock input is used, the clock patterns correspond to the so called mathematical or musical divisions of the rhythm.

With two different clocks patched to the inputs, the counter alternately increases and decreases its state, and ultimately it counts with a rate proportional to the frequency difference between the clocks. A third clock patched to the Reset input may be used to shorten the sequence thus making the cycle incomplete for even more rhythmic diversity.

When there is a Leibniz data source connected at the back (even as simple as Lipsk), the state increases or decreases in larger steps, depending on the data present at the Leibniz bus (eg. the value programmed by the Lipsk buttons). The counter overflows quicker, and produces more complex patterns.

The state of the counter may be used as a phase input to a digital wave table. Connected to other Leibniz modules, Erfurt may play various roles, eg. it may scan waveshapes in Jena, produce stepped voltages useful for making interesting glissandi with Drezno and any VCO, generate gate patterns animating the spectrum of Odessa harmonic banks, spawn pseudo-chaotic sequences when fed back to Lipsk, etc. Since Erfurt is based on CMOS logic (no CPU!), it can be clocked at very high frequencies (exceeding audio rate), therefore some selection switches are provided for clock pre-scaling.

Notes: Updated expander module for the Moskwa II sequencer. The Ostankino adds additional connectivity to the Moskwa II, allowing CV control of most parameters, plus extra outputs.

Ostankino II expander adds CV inputs for many Moskwa II functions, as well as a transpose input, clock out and individual gate/bit outputs for each step.

Notes: Lipsk facilitates the inversion of the individual bits produced by Drezno (or any other module connected to its input header at the back), and delivers the resulting code to its output header. Bit inversion can be manually controlled by pressing any of combination of its eight illuminated buttons, or it can be automated by patching gate signals into its gate input sockets. An active (5V) gate flips the state of the respective bit. If the button is active (bit already flipped), then the gate flips the bit again yielding double inversion (no inversion). The corresponding LEDs show the combined effect of both manual and gate actions. The bit processing logic is hardware-based, so there is virtually no latency, allowing the binary signals to be manipulated at extreme rates.

Notes: Module A-192-2 contains two independent CV/Gate-to-Midi/USB interfaces. For each of the two sub-units these inputs are available:

- Gate Input (min. +5V)
- CVN Input (defines the Midi note number), 1V/octave standard, range 0...+10V (i.e. 10 octaves)
- CVV Input (defines the velocity value assigned to the Midi note message), can be used alternatively for Midi volume (CC#7), range 0...+5V
- CVC Input (free assignable to any Midi control change number), range 0...+5V

For both sub-units a common CV Transpose input is available (1V/octave, range 0...+10V). The voltage applied to this input is added internally to CVN before the Midi note number is generated. It can be used e.g. to transpose two sequences simultaneously by one voltage.

How it works:

Whenever the rising edge of the Gate input is recognized a Midi note on message is generated. The note number corresponds to the sum of the voltages applied to the CVN input and the common CV Transpose Input that is present at the rising edge of the gate signal.

Notes: The only module named after a Swedish botanist? Possibly. Relentless synth innovator Dave Rossum pushes the boundaries again with a state-variable stereo filter offering through-zero frequency modulation. Sounds complicated. Sounds good.

LINNAEUS is a stereo state-variable filter that provides the unique ability to linearly modulate its resonant frequency through zero into negative frequency, while maintaining stability. With extensive voltage control of nearly every parameter, Linnaeus lets you manipulate the filter's natural response curve in new ways, to create both subtle and dramatic timbral effects. And with a "one-knob-per-parameter" interface, LINNAEUS inspires sonic creativity that invites (and rewards) real-time interaction.

LINNAEUS's cutoff/resonant frequency is exponentially voltage controllable from sub-audio to ultrasonic frequencies, while its resonant gain (Q) is exponentially voltage controllable from 0dB to greater than 60dB.

LINNAEUS's channel output response characteristics are independently and continuously variable from Lowpass, through Bandpass, Highpass and Notch, to Low and High Shelving characteristics. Voltage control of the response characteristics are independently selectable for each of the two channels.

The linear thru-zero modulation is provided by an integrated modulation oscillator and/or an External Linear FM modulation input.

The voltage-controllable modulation oscillator can track the filter's exponential frequency or operate independently. The modulation oscillator's output waveform is continuously variable from Off through Sine, Triangle, and Sawtooth, to Square. The modulation oscillator output is summed with the external linear FM input and applied to the modulation index VCA, which controls the linear thru-zero modulation index from zero to 8X. The modulation index is, of course, also voltage controllable.

Notes: The Vermona MEX3 is a midi extension for the meloDICER sequencer and allows the sequencing of synthesizers outside the modular system.

Push (or Pulse) the Envelope

Snappy, classically analogue envelopes with visually intuitive controls. Add a powerful, cv controllable cyclical gate generator, integrated VCA, and trigger buttons -then double it-now you've got Tangrams.

Tangrams, like the Dual ADSR before it, is a dual analogue core-envelope inspired by the Roland SH-101 / System 100m design with several enhancements. Taking further inspiration from trapezoidal function generators like the one on the EMS Synthi, Intellijel have added a voltage-controlled pulser circuit to link the triggering of two envelopes - allowing for delayed one-shots, cycling organic envelopes, and more. In addition, Intellijel added two VCAs for level control of each envelope, or alternatively, direct injection of the signal you'd like to envelope - freeing up your other VCAs.

The Pulser

The Pulser can be thought of as a way to set both a gate ON time (T1) and an OFF time (T2). In this way, you could configure a cycling ADSR that has a gate time that is different from the interval between gates. Alternatively, you can create a sequence where ADSR2 is triggered by a delayed amount of time after ADSR1 is triggered (either cyclically or in a single shot sequence). The panel switches for routing or disabling the pulse sources allow for even more complex combinations of control beyond these examples. This special combination of functions can yield a plethora of interesting and organic envelope and gate patterns to be created; cyclical and single shot.

Use this module to tap into the 3-pin LINK connector used in several Intellijel products, including Mixup, Pedal I/O and the Palette and 2nd Generation Audio Jacks Board in a 7U case.

The XY I/O uses two 3.5mm TRS jacks, which accept insert cables to provide send/return capability to a pair of Pedal I/O's, or additional stereo inputs (or outputs) to a pair of Mixups, or one of each.

Pico BBD is surprisingly great sounding (we were surprised ourselves), full analogue 4092 stage bucket brigade delay module; the smallest BBD in Eurorack. Besides nice and clean flanger and delay effects, at full CW settings of TIME and feedback knobs it can produce extreme sonic artefacts. Tweak knobs and enjoy!
