Make Noise DXG Dual Stereo Low Pass Gate & Mixer Module
Make Noise DXG Dual Stereo Low Pass Gate & Mixer Module (dual/strereo/low pass gate/mixer module)
Cat: 992443 Rel: 29 Jan 24 • View all Synth modules

Dual stereo low pass gate & mixer module - 8HP
Notes: The Dual Stereo Gate (DXG) music synthesizer module is a Dual Stereo Low Pass Gate and Mixer. It follows in the footsteps of the QMMG, Optomix, RxMx, DynaMix, and LxD. Unlike its predecessors, the DXG is specifically oriented around mixing stereo signals, making it an important addition to any system containing modules like XPO, QPAS, Morphagene, Mimeophon, and other stereo modules by Make Noise or others.

Unique to the DXG is a new low pass gate circuit that does not use vactrols. This circuit is 100% analogue and its response was arrived at after many months tailoring it to meet or exceed the expectations that have been set by all the vactrol low pass gates that Make Noise has created over the years.

In the past, Make Noise produced the Dynamix module and Dynamics circuit in the 0-COAST, both of which are vactrolless LPGs; however, the DXG is a completely new approach which better implements the gentle single pole filtering of a low pass gate, while also emulating the slow decay and memory of the vactrol based low pass gate. This new circuit makes possible the consistency of response necessary for versatile stereo use, while also keeping the module small and affordable so that it can be a key part of just about any modular system.

As on all of Make Noise's low pass gates, the DXG's Control parameter is used to set both the amplitude and the frequency content of the sound that passes through it. The control parameter tends to open faster than it closes, imparting a subtle decay phase onto any envelope shape that is used to modulate it.

Unlike previous low pass gates made by Make Noise, all the DXG's inputs and outputs are stereo. Each set of inputs is normalled so that the left input can be used for a mono signal, sending a copy to both left and right outputs. The Auxiliary inputs are also a stereo pair with mono normalization. These normalizations allow for the DXG to be used as a simple three channel stereo mixer, with one or two of the channels additionally being used for dynamics control and note event generation. The Aux inputs can be used to chain together larger decentralized mixes using additional DXG modules, or X-PAN, Optomix, modDemix etc.

Features

- Make Noise's first Stereo Low Pass Gate

- Vactrol-free design for classic Low Pass Gate sounds, but with the balance and consistency needed for true Stereo

- Fully Stereo i/o for easy integration into a Stereo-equipped modular synthesizer

- All Left inputs normalled for easy use with Mono signals

- STRIKE Input allows use of Gate signal to trigger Low Pass Gate circuit, creating "plucking" or "pinging" sound from any Gate

- Summing stage with Stereo AUXiliary IN allows for chaining of multiple units, creating larger mixes

- Part of a decentralized mix console integrated throughout the system along with X-PAN, Optomix, XOH, etc.

- Pairs well with XPO, QPAS, Morphagene, Mimeophon, Spectraphon etc.

A cool back story from one of the founders at STOKYO :

"The story goes back around 22 years ago when the good folks at Xexxn would allow me to distribute these on the low for diggers and DJs overseas.

A few years later we (STOKYO and friends) did have the opportunity to take over manufacturing but ironically I was also at Vestax and at the time we had the Handy Trax.

Fast forward to 2019, this project took over 2 years but with the help of some original engineers, our manufacturing partner and the love we all shared for the original GP/GMX we bring you the all improved version.

The RM-1 and RMX -1 "RECORD MATE" series is the overseas edition. (GP-3R/GMX-3R are the JPN domestic model)

Updated molds, internal board, parts, new speakers, new case/tonearm construction, magnetic stereo cartridge (like you'll find on an AT-LP60), but everything else like the OG. The first model will be exclusive for the Americas (@ 120v).

As we continue to improve more parts to clear Global compliances, we also await for more parts with supply issues due to the Pandemic for our Global/EU model we aim to make available later in '22.

For those who pre-ordered, we originally aimed for an earlier ship date and our sincere apologies with all the port congestion but good news, it is on stateside awaiting customs. Arriving soon.

Thank you for the patience.

Big up to the crew for making this happen, grinding everyday and for your love we have for vinyl."

Crazy Tube Circuits HiPower Amp & Speaker Simulation Effects Pedal Crazy Tube Circuits HiPower Amp & Speaker Simulation Effects Pedal Crazy Tube Circuits HiPower Amp & Speaker Simulation Effects Pedal
Cat: 986581 Rel: 02 Jan 24 • View all Effects pedals

Pedal + amp-in-a-box overdrives recreating legendary sounds, following the success of Crossfire and Unobtanium
Notes: HI POWER is Crazy Tube Circuits' next endeavour in pedal + amp-in-a-box overdrives recreating legendary sounds, following the success of Crossfire and Unobtanium.

It was inspired by the sonic combination of two British tone machines. The almighty Colorsound Power Boost meets the blistering high-headroom Hiwatt amp.

While the combination of these two units directly hints at the gear setup of David Gilmour and especially the gear used on Pink Floyd's album: Wish You Were Here (think the guitar solo sounds of "Shine on you Crazy Diamond", "Have A Cigar") the sonic options are endless.

The orange enclosure silicon transistor circuit (Colorsound Power Boost) can deliver from a transparent clean boost to an all-out fuzz driving a tube amp to sonic bliss. Crazy Tube Circuits set out to clone the original unit featuring the true-to-the-original spec BC184 transistors running on 18V DC (via an internal voltage booster circuit).

The ultra-flexible 2-band Baxandall EQ circuit can add bite and low-end rumble to any setup. Crazy Tube Circuits used a reverse log gain pot (labelled as volume), compared to the linear taper pot found in the original units and acted as an on/off switch, to be able to set the amount of boost/overdrive more precisely. While the earlier units didn't feature a master volume control (only as an aftermarket mod - Pete Cornish made an external unit master volume for David Gilmour's Power Boost) Crazy Tube Circuits chose to include one that is setup in a way so that when it is all the way clockwise it is bypassed. Later versions of the Power Boost had 9V power supply and were renamed as the "Overdriver" due to the lower headroom and their ability to drive the signal earlier. They were offered in a grey enclosure and can be seen in the gear setups of Jeff Beck, Marc Bolan, etc. Crazy Tube Circuits chose to incorporate this version as well with a flip of a toggle switch (PWR-ODR toggle switch).

On the left side of the HI POWER you will find an all-analogue circuit set out to emulate the sound and feel of a Hiwatt amp. Following the path of the famed British tube amplifier, this circuit offers authentic amp tone and feel resembling guitar tones from guitar greats like David Gilmour, Pete Townsend, Jimmy Page, Noel Gallagher to name a few. From the big bold high-headroom clean sounds to the face-melting crunchy tones.

True to the last detail, Crazy Tube Circuits have included the full EQ section along with a presence control located at the negative feedback of the power amp simulation circuit. A headroom toggle switch selects between the high headroom 100w power section provided by a quartet of EL34s (think Hiwat DR103), or the lower headroom and compression provided by a 50W power section with a pair of EL34s when hit hard (think DR504). Similar in operation to the original amps the master volume was designed to produce more gain at higher settings.

Crazy Tube Circuits taken the design a step further by adding a switch to select between input channels of the amplifier. You can select between the full response of the normal channel of the amplifier, the increased presence and tight low end of the bright channel input or the "Gilmour-ish" enhanced frequency response and added gain of those inputs linked together. This follows the modifications that Pete Cornish did to all David Gilmour's Hiwatt amps.

Like their other dual overdrive/amp-in-a-box designs, Crazy Tube Circuits also included a passive effects loop to give you the option to connect your beloved pedals between your booster/overdrive and amp in a box or use the two sections as separate and independent effects when using an external bypass switcher/looper. Gilmour enthusiasts will love to insert their Big Muff, Tube Driver and Phase 90 in there. Note that all pedals inserted in the passive effects loop are still in the signal chain when any or both sections of HI POWER are in bypass.

HI POWER features a power-up bypass/engage pre-set function for the footswitches. That way you can select which state your pedal will go to when you plug the power supply. This function comes in especially handy to people that use remote pedal switchers / loopers as they only set the state of the pedal once and then operate from the controller.

DT 700 Pro X

Trusted sound meets performance and flexibility

In launching the closed-back DT 700 PRO X, Beyerdynamic are unveiling circumaural studio headphones, which are set to usher in a era for the long-established, Heilbronn-based company. While the classics of the PRO X series are regarded as reference products in professional studios all over the world, the PRO line is suitable for flexible use both in the studio and while on the move. It is all made possible by the STELLAR.45 driver that loudly reproduces the best sound in studio quality without any distortion - with all playback devices.

Professional audio quality

Trusted studio sound meets high performance

The STELLAR.45 sound transducer, developed and produced in Heilbronn, Germany, delivers that proven Beyerdynamic sound at previously unattained levels of studio-headphones-class performance. This is down to the neodymium ring magnet as well as copper-clad high-tech wire. The trade-off between electrical conductivity and the weight of the wire is unique. In combination with the developed three-layer speaker diaphragm featuring integrated damping layer, this has created a highly efficient driver system that performs superbly on all playback devices.

The innovative membrane structure controls the axial motion of the voice coil and ensures that it remains securely positioned in the magnet gap even during high oscillations. Another benefit is vast and natural frequency response. The fast response of the transducer and the detailed transient response, produced by the low coil weight, create a sound that is always reliable and distortion free even at high sound pressure levels.

Flexibility

Wide range of applications on all playback devices

Anytime, anywhere - the wide range of applications offered by the PRO X line unleashes your creativity. Be it on an audio interface, laptop, tablet or mobile phone: Thanks to Beyerdynamic's high-performance STELLAR.45 driver, the PRO X headphones with an impedance of 48 ohms reproduce sound at volume and power to familiar levels of studio quality - on all playback devices. The cable concept is also demonstrably suitable for everyday use: the removable mini-XLR cable can be swapped out as required to be replaced with cables that have different lengths or feature other connectivity options.

Superb wearing comfort

Tailored fit for extra-long sessions

The PRO X line also embodies what these professional headphones have always been synonymous with: maximum wearing comfort. The robust spring steel headband design assures the over-ear headphones provide a secure fit and ensures durability. The supple velour ear pads are soft to the touch, as you would expect, and guarantee superior ventilation. The headband ergonomically adapts to the shape of the wearer's head with the aid of soft memory foam and, like the ear pads, can be replaced if required.

Design & materials

Built to last, featuring a sleek, robust design

Black, minimalist and reduced to the essentials. In a word: PRO. As far as the design of and materials used in the PRO X line are concerned, attention was paid to the resilience of all components: metal headband, GRP components, a robust mini-XLR connector and hard-wearing cable. This means you are geared up on a daily basis for any professional application.

Sustainability

Sustainable headphones - made in Germany

The PRO X line headphones have been designed for daily use in challenging conditions. This is why they are handmade in Germany using premium quality materials. If required, nearly all the headphones' components can be replaced, turning these headphones into an investment that makes sense for every creator.

Space echo effects pedal
Notes: Based on the legendary Roland Space Echo, the RE-202 brings tape-style delay effects into the future. Classic vintage sound in a modern, user-friendly package.

Supplier's Notes:
A Masterpiece Returns in the Modern Era

Introduced in 1974, the Roland RE-201 Space Echo stands among the most legendary and sought-after effect units ever produced. This tape-based classic remained in production for over 14 straight years, and its distinctive rhythmic echo sounds, warm character, and highly playable sonic quirks still inspire musicians, producers, and audio mixers over four decades on.

Backed by intensive R&D and Boss' latest innovations, the RE-202 faithfully delivers the authentic sound and behaviour of the Space Echo like never before. Built by the company that designed the original, this advanced pedal captures the RE-201's magic in flawless detail, from the magnetic tape and motor properties to the vibrant spring reverb and colourful preamp circuit. And to take things even further, Boss have expanded the vintage Space Echo experience with lots of new features tuned for today's music.

Tape Echo Magic

Tape echo was the first delay effect and one of the first effect processors available for electronic musicians. In contrast with today's CPU-based digital units, a tape echo is a simple machine that uses a motor to pull magnetic tape across one or more record/playback heads. Warm, full, and dynamic, the tape echo sound is influenced by many factors. The ever-changing input level colours the sound with varying amounts of tape saturation and compression. In addition, motor speed fluctuations, friction, wow and flutter, and other elements introduce an appealing modulated character that's subtle and continually evolving.

RE-201 Space Echo: Simply Legendary

The RE-201 was a benchmark Roland product and one of the leading tape echo units of its era. It featured three evenly spaced heads that produced a wider range of echo effects than typical single-head designs, plus an innovative free-running tape system that provided superior performance with minimal tape wear. Grab-and-go controls enabled quick access to clean, single delays or various head combinations for dense, rhythmic echoes. A spring reverb tank was included too, making the RE-201 a one-stop shop for quality ambience effects. Last but not least, analogue preamp circuitry was another key ingredient in the Space Echo's rich sonic recipe.

A Masterpiece Reborn

Realized through the latest technologies and exhaustive analysis of several vintage RE-201s-including a pristine original unit from the BOSS and Roland factory archive-the RE-202 brings the complete Space Echo experience to life in a versatile modern pedal.

While previous BOSS designs captured the true sonic flavour and essential characteristics of the Space Echo, new advancements have allowed us to go much deeper than ever before. With the RE-202, Boss' engineers have fully reproduced all the complex, non-linear behaviours that contribute to the RE-201's immortal character. Everything that influences the sound was carefully examined and recreated with all-new algorithms, including the tape path, record/playback mechanism, motor variations, preamp coloration, tape age, spring reverb character, and more.

Retro Sound at Your Fingertips

The RE-202 delivers the full vintage vibe of the RE-201-without the need for regular tape replacement and hardware maintenance. All the core controls of the original are here, including the iconic 12-position mode selector. Every behaviour is replicated with complete accuracy, such as the gradual pitch change that occurs when the Repeat Rate knob is tweaked, or the cool runaway feedback that happens when the Intensity knob is maxed.

With selectable tape age and variable controls, you can dial in everything from a brand-new Space Echo to the worn character and quirks of a well-loved vintage piece. The Saturation control has been carefully calibrated based on the actual magnetic tape and preamp behaviours of the RE-201, with the sound becoming warmer and more compressed as you turn up the knob.

Dual digital VCA module with zero crossing detection, polarisation, noise, sample & hold - 8HP
Notes: Another update for WMD's clever dual VCA, this time a little bigger to give more control. Digital control of CV and attenuation gives lots of creative options. Third time's a charm.

Supplier's Notes:
WMD have done several designs of this circuit over the years, the first one had no knobs, the second was too small, the MKIII is finally how this circuit should be packaged. This module does some really cool stuff and is super useful in any system.

The Digital VCA lets signal through like a normal VCA, but the CV and attenuation level is controlled digitally. This lets us do things like wait until there is a zero crossing to change the amplitude, resulting in clickless amplitude changes.

The Trigger mode causes the VCA to only update when a trigger is received. The addition of a noise circuit for each side let us do a very quick and easy sample and hold that never droops. With no input, 5V is normaled to the attenuator, so you get a 0-5V sample and hold. In Bipolar mode, you can get -5 to +5V.

Both sides have bipolar VCA mode (polarizer), which lets them invert the signal when negative CV comes in. Also known as ring modulation. With the zero crossing detector, this can produce some super wild wave shapes.

Klavis Grainity Digitally-Controlled Full-Analogue Path Granular & Multi-Mode VCF Module (silver)
Cat: 934965 Rel: 19 Dec 23 • View all Synth modules

Digitally-controlled full-analogue path granular & multi-mode VCF module in 10HP.
Notes: A unique analogue take on granular synthesis, inspired by Yannis Xenakis, the Grainity pairs a granular filter with a multimode filter to create new textures and harmonics.

Supplier's Notes:
The Grainity brings a unique and never-heard-before concept to the world of analogue VCF.

While being based on analogue filtering only, the Grainity expands and enriches the sound in creating subharmonics, harmonies, unison, flanging effects and formant filtering all at once.

The module presents two sections, the granular filter itself and a typical multimode filter, each with its own output.

A third output offers a mix of both filter paths. Numerous controls and CV allow a very wide palette of results.

What is the Grainity

Granular?

The word granular was chosen for this filter module in relation to the concept invented by the composer Yannis Xenakis, and which is described as assembling small chops of sounds - he called grains - according to a pattern.

This is exactly what the Grainity does, no more no less ... but, digital control allows doing it in ways that are decades away from what tape and scissors allowed at the time.

Technology wise ...

In the granular section, the incoming sound cycle is determined in order to step through various filtering and phase variations of itself according to predefined patterns called structures.

The controls allow alterations to the cycling phase, cycling frequency offset (tuning), structure selection and frequency division of the filters cycling. This comes in addition to the usual filter frequency and resonance controls.

What the Grainity is not

Technology wise ...

Despite relying on a microprocessor, the Grainity is not a digital audio processor. At any time, the sound remains in the analog domain and goes through analog circuits from in to out.
The digital processor does not convert or generate audio signals; it is there to control the analog circuitry and manage the interface and display.

Sound wise ...

Several digital modules offering granular processing rely on the layering of sound grains, which leads to blurry and cloudy textures.
Layering of the grains is a late addition to the concept of granular synthesis and is not a mandatory feature of the concept.
The Grainity does not use delay lines or sampling memory but is nevertheless true to the foundations of the granular synthesis concept.

The granular VCF in the Grainity is unconventional in that, most of times, it is not filtering the sound in the common expectation of removing something. Typically, the granular process adds more than it removes by expanding both the lower range, creating subharmonics, and the upper harmonic contents in multiples ways.

Cat: 979276 Rel: 13 Feb 24 • View all Synth modules

Quadruple low frequency oscillator module - 10HP
Notes: An updated version of the excellent Batumi quad LFO, version II introduces performance updates plus compatibility with the new Poti II expander. Original Poti I breakout functions are now included in the Batumi II.

Supplier's Notes:
Xaoc Devices presents Batumi II - a greatly improved and enhanced new iteration of the modern day classic that is/was the original Batumi, preserving its layout and form factor. The premise remains the same: four LFO's with individual outputs for sine, assign and rectangle waves. The channels can operate independently or they can be linked - phase shifted, divided or multiplied (new mode alert) with regard to the first channel. Multiple major and minor improvements have been implemented, e.g. when synced to an external clock source, each channel's frequency slider selects a clock division for that channel's outputs.

Xaoc Devices have managed to incorporate the features of the original expander into Batumi II (sync mode switching and assign waveform selection) without changing the size of the module which opened up new possibilities for the new optional expander. The Poti II expander for Batumi II adds multi destination inputs for sine wavefolding, assign output waveform selection or rectangle pulse modulation with the destination set for each channel independently. Poti II also features frequency input attenuation as well as sine and assign output attenuation. All adjustments may be performed separately for each individual channel or for all channels simultaneously.

The Batumi II software has been rewritten from scratch to ensure best performance. The hardware has also been updated to allow for V/oct tracking and stable operation up to audio rates (more powerful CPU, precise, wideband converters, antialiased waveforms).

-4 LFO's
- redesigned from scratch - both the hardware and software
- new waveforms for the assign output (including random)
- new frequency multiplication mode
- all features of the Poti expander incorporated into the main module
- very wide frequency range well into audio rate
- 1V/oct tracking = so can be used as 4 VCO's
- in the Phase/Divide/Mult modes the random waves at the ASGN output follow the values available in the master/A channel
- 10HP
- +90/-50mA

Digital percussion pad
Notes: DP-2000 is a digital percussion pad with 8 touch sensitive zones and a huge library of internal sounds.

A USB-to-PC/Mac interface enables integration with a software recording suite as a trigger controller and sound source. Sounds from the flagship DM-8 kit are stored internally, along with additional world percussion instrument samples and the option to add user samples from a USB flash drive. Sounds are assignable to pads and adjusted using the intuitive user interface and control surface, and each pad has a dynamic indicator which varies in brightness to mirror the playing dynamics. Dedicated MIDI in and out connections mean that the DP-2000 can expand a live playing setup or operate from hardware sequencers and other MIDI controllers. In addition to tuning and dynamics control, dual-engine DSP effects can be applied to each sound and tailored to suit each sound. If performance space is very limited, inputs for a hi-hat pedal, kick pad and an additional trigger can turn the DP-2000 into a fully playable super-compact e-drum kit. Add the possibility of music playback from USB flash drive and comprehensive input and output options, the DP-2000 is as much at home as a standalone instrument or as an expansion to an existing drum or percussion kit.

Installs in minutes in any studio or space
Sonically invisible, audiophile performance
Emulates top monitors and playback systems
Customize your monitors' performance to taste

Improves mixing accuracy

Your room has a big impact on how you hear your music. The size, shape, materials and furniture all work to distort the frequency and stereo balance of your monitors, degrading your sound.

ARC 4's all-new algorithm analyses and corrects these issues in minutes. Your music snaps into focus, with more controlled low-end, tighter transients and pinpoint stereo imaging. It's like an instant upgrade to your monitors.

And when you trust what you hear, you'll mix faster and more confidently than ever.

Installs in minutes

Plug the mic into your interface and you'll be guided through measuring acoustical spots within your listening position. IK's award-winning ARC technology uses this 3D snapshot to identify and completely correct all the problematic issues degrading your monitors' performance.

An all-new listening experience

ARC 4 stores the correction profile and loads it into the ARC Studio processor, sitting invisibly between your interface and monitors to apply to all incoming signals. The standalone processor corrects studio monitors in any studio, including hardware- and console-based setups.

Audiophile performance

ARC Studio features a 120 dB(A) analogue input to analogue output dynamic range, 0.5 Hz to 40 kHz frequency response and ultra-stable clocking for vanishing low jitter, offering total sonic transparency and a level of accuracy you only find in mastering-grade audio converters.

And it connects to your studio and monitors via balanced XLRs with power-safe relay-based hard bypass - so when bypassed you're protected from sudden power-related pops. Between the premium audio quality and ARC Studio's all-new correction algorithm, you'll enjoy the most natural, transparent monitoring ever.

Affordably priced

ARC Studio hardware is not only designed and made in Italy to the highest precision and quality standards, but its clever engineering makes it available at a fraction of the cost of other hardware solutions.

Now everyone can dramatically improve the sound in their mixing environments: from a single pair of monitors to multiple monitoring systems, up to large facilities with multiple mixing and recording rooms.

Improves any studio

For pro studios, whether in-the-box or console-based, ARC Studio allows for a sonically transparent correction and custom-tuning for any monitoring setup from nearfields to mains, preserving the inherent system's sonic quality.

For DAW-based studios, ARC Studio frees you from the hassle of inserting plug-ins on the master bus of your work and preserves zero-latency monitoring setups, plus it allows you to listen to your preferred streaming service with acoustically corrected monitoring without messing around with system drivers.

You can create a profile for every configuration, listening position or even monitor pair. Whether you're in a makeshift studio or a world-class one, fine-tuning your monitoring to your taste has never been easier and has never sounded so good.

Customise your monitors

Customise your setup for ideal performance no matter your preference. ARC 4 offers deep control over each profile so it always sounds its best:

Target curves

ARC 4 now comes with 9 factory target curves for most situations. The default curve offers optimally balanced results with other specific curves for different needs or setups.

Adjustable correction range

By default, ARC corrects the entire frequency spectrum, but you can define limits to both upper and lower correction ranges separately. This is useful if you want to preserve the unique voicing of your monitors or are just looking to correct a certain frequency range.

Mixer & preamplifier module - 28HP.
Notes: A characteristically unique take on mixing from Buchla, with six mono inputs and a built-in mic/guitar pre-amp. Each channel can be cued to a monitor mix, while the first and last channels also include voltage-controlled panning.

Supplier's Notes:
The Tiptop 207t is a modern reimagining of the classic Don Buchla 207 Mixer/Preamplifier from the 1970s 200 Series. This stereo mixer comes with a built-in preamp that allows you to boost external instruments and microphones, making it a versatile tool for any modular setup. The 207t also features a six-channel mixer with a variety of signal routing options, including the ability to route channels to the monitor and L&R signal outputs, with per-channel control over loudness and panning.

Each channel has a Mon switch that sends the channel's signal to the monitor outputs, which are always full-volume and summed to mono, making it useful for basic monitoring applications or rudimentary mixing. The Prog switch sends the signal to the L&R signal outputs, with loudness controlled by the Level Adjustment slider and panning determined by the Channel Assignment knobs. The first and sixth channels offer voltage control of panning; these channels are hard-panned when no CV is applied.

The preamp section features a 1/4" input and multiple gain settings, making it suitable for use with external line level instruments, electric guitars, or dynamic microphones. The continuous amplification control provides added flexibility for your audio needs. Finally, the Expansion In is a stereo input that sums to the left and right main outputs, which is great for chaining multiple 207t modules or adding another stereo source at the final output.

While the 207t's functionality may be simple, it is an essential part of any 200t system, serving as the glue that holds everything together. The Tiptop 207t is a fantastic mixer/preamp option that delivers quality sound and reliable performance.

A unique analogue take on granular synthesis, inspired by Yannis Xenakis, the Grainity pairs a granular filter with a multimode filter to create new textures and harmonics.

Digital effects pedal including reverse delay - pitch shifter - delay and modulated reverb.
Notes: This is a digital effects pedal in a compact format, including reverse delay - pitch shifter - delay and modulated reverb.

Effects engine is 12 bit and includes analogue filtering before and after digital conversion, based on vintage eighties units' topologies, but it allows for all the effects to be simultaneously available.

Despite its complexity, operation is simple and intuitive, all functions are directly controlled by the corresponding knob.

Pots controls:

1-Blend controls mix of effects over final output signal
2-Octave blend mix a pitched signal to the input of the reverb
3-Octave -1 +1 controls tuning of pitch component
4-Repeat controls feedback of delay component 5-Balance controls mixture from reverb and
delay.
6-Sample rate controls the frequency operation for the whole pedal, modifying delay time
and reverb decay.
7-Reverse blends the reverse component with the direct signal.

Indicators:

Signal: indicates clipping, the input path has compression and limiting so it gives an idea of how hard you are driving the pedal.

Tap: blinks at the rate of the delay, depending on tap and sample rate.

Tap/freeze: turns red while tapping time, blue indicates reverb freeze.

Bypass: global effect on/off

Footswitches:

1-Tap/ freeze works as a tap tempo for the delay and reverse delay, and freeze/infinite for reverb, selected by the associated toggle switch. Max delay time is around 6 seconds, depending on sample rate setting.

2-Bypass: buffered bypass for the whole pedal.

Power consumption: 150 milliamps.

Triple tracking overdrive/distortion effects pedal
Notes: The Beam Splitter is a single pedal meant to create a massive sound. It is three different takes on overdrive, voiced to work together perfectly. Two of them can be delayed in time, and all three can be run in parallel or split out to three separate sources.

Beam Splitter takes a mono input and makes it wildly bigger than before. Things stretch in time and compress in dynamics, and a rich harmonic wash is achieved without sacrificing clarity.

To be washed in sound, does it have to be one big sound, or will a number of small sounds do the trick? To create a wall of sound, same question, but also how does it stay solid? How can sound waves make a wall, and is it just a moment in time; will it always crash down?

Why record your guitar thrice when Beam Splitter exists?

Beam Splitter is best seen in three sections - Purple, Green and Blue.

Purple is a hard-clipping distortion that can be seen as the core gain sound of Beam Splitter.

Of Beam Splitter's three gain sections, it is arguably the heaviest and most compressed. It has three controls, identified by their purple knobs and labels - Gain, Volume and Tone.

Green is an overdrive with both soft and hard clipping. It is the lightest and brightest of the three gain sections in Beam Splitter. Also featuring Gain, Volume controls the green gain circuit features a Time knob, which sets the delay time, up to 125 sections. When blended in parallel with the other drives, this delay time can create anything from tight comb filters to loose doubling delays to short slapback.

Additionally, there is a Decay knob, which sets the feedback of the delay, from one repeat up to many repeats trailing off. In comb filter settings this can increase resonance.

Blue is a transistor Overdrive and the most neutral and reactive of the three gain circuits, with a gain range somewhere in the middle. Its Gain switch sets the amount of breakup. In the down setting, it is less overdriven, with less compression in the mids and highs. In the up setting, it is more overdriven and aggressive. It also boasts Time and Decay controls, on top of the Tone and Volume knobs and gain switch.

The pedal's Deviate control is a shared knob that sets the amount of random variation in the delay time of the Blue and Green drive sections. The more it is turned up, the farther their delay times can deviate, and the faster those deviations happen. When at zero, the delay times are fixed, above zero, each Time knob sets that sections delay time.

Deviate intends to create a more realistic sense of doubled players, with random variations in timing as if you were playing to the track twice. It can also give the impression of flanging, chorusing or broken vibrato, depending on the settings.

The Expression jack is used to externally control the Deviate knob using a TRS expression devices with standard polarity and tip connected to the wiper.

Beam Splitter has a mono input. From there the signal goes out to Purple, Green and Blue drive sections in parallel. If only plugged into the Purple Out Jack, all three sections will join in parallel mono at that Output. Green and Blue can each be broken off into their own output by plugging into the corresponding Out jacks.

In this way you can have a full 'stereo' setup.

Notes: Your studio headphones

DT 900 Pro X

Trusted sound meets performance and flexibility

In launching the open-back DT 900 PRO X, Beyerdynamic are unveiling circumaural studio headphones, which are set to usher in a era for the long-established, Heilbronn-based company. While the classics of the PRO series are regarded as reference products in professional studios all over the world, the PRO line is suitable for flexible use both in the studio and while on the move.

In combination with the three-layer speaker diaphragm featuring integrated damping layer, this has created a highly efficient driver system that performs superbly on all playback devices.

Be it on an audio interface, laptop, tablet or mobile phone: Thanks to the high-performance STELLAR.45 driver, the PRO X headphones with an impedance of 48 ohms reproduce sound at volume and power to familiar levels of studio quality - on all playback devices.

Notes: Dial in Professional Sounds in Seconds

The BOSS ME series has been a favourite of performing guitarists for over three decades, combining multi-effects power with intuitive hands-on control for crafting tones in seconds. The ME-90 is the most advanced ME model to date, offering exceptional audio quality, flagship-grade AIRD amp models, IR loading, an effects loop, and more. Compact, battery-powered, and filled with premium BOSS tones, this versatile all-in-one processor makes it easy to build customized sound setups for every playing situation.

Fast Sound Creation

With its knob-driven interface and diverse effects selection, the ME-90 lets you build configurations and tweak tones with the ease of a stompbox-filled pedalboard-without the hassle of fastening tape, power distribution, and multiple connection cables. Just dial up an amp model or effect type within a category and turn the knobs to get the sound you want. There are 36 preset patches with ready-to-play pro tones, plus 36 user patches for storing your custom creations.

Flexible Real-Time Control

The ME-90 features eight footswitches with smooth, quiet operation and an expression pedal with an integrated toe switch. Use Memory mode to call up complete patch setups with the footswitches, and then switch to Manual mode for direct on/off control of each effect category within the patch. The footswitch LEDs light in different colours for quick identification in the heat of a performance. It's also possible to set all LEDs to light in a fixed colour for each mode if desired.

High-Quality BOSS Effects

The ME-90 puts a massive library of BOSS effects at your command, offering seven different categories filled with selections derived from the flagship GT-1000. Everything you need is here, from overdrives and distortions to pitch/mod effects, delays, and high-quality reverbs. You also get 11 dedicated Pedal FX, a looper, and specialized effects such as acoustic simulation and down tuning. There are 60 effect types in total, with access to over 20 more via BOSS Tone Studio. A send/return loop is available for external pedals, complete with the ability to save the on/off status in patches and place the loop before or after amp models in the signal chain.

Premium Amp Sounds with AIRD Technology

Along with its effects, the ME-90 includes amp models ported from the GT-1000, driven by our advanced AIRD technology for authentic tube tone and touch response. Eleven onboard amp types offer everything from clean combo sounds to punishing high-gain stacks, and you can access more selections in BOSS Tone Studio. Each amp includes a dedicated cab sound for connecting to a PA or recording device, and you can load three of your favourite speaker IRs to personalize sounds to your taste.

Edit, Customize, and Expand

BOSS Tone Studio for macOS and Windows extends your creative range, allowing you to edit tones and change out some amp and effect types with alternate selections. In addition, you can save and organize patches for different gigs, download pro setups at BOSS Tone Central, and swap patches with the ME-90 community on BOSS Tone Exchange. The ME-90 also supports the optional Bluetoothr Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor, enabling you to stream music from a mobile device and wirelessly shape tones using the dedicated BTS editor app for iOS and Android.

Light, Durable, and Ready to Travel

The ME-90 is lighter than its previous generation model while maintaining the rock-solid durability that BOSS is famous for.

Befaco Octaves VCO Additive Oscillator Module
Cat: 1005946 Rel: 27 Mar 24 • View all Synth modules

Additive oscillator module - 12HP
Notes: Really clever stuff here. The Octaves VCO takes an additive approach, layering harmonics on top of a fundamental frequency to create complex tones. Control the six bands via CV to adjust the harmonic content.

Supplier's Notes:
A harsh and funky take of an additive Oscillator.

Pile up multiplications of your frequency to get a lo-fi-retro wall of squared sound!

You get six doubled frequency pulses, or octaves, with common PWM and volume control for each of them.

The output of each is cascaded to the next one, so you can either have one output with all frequencies or break the chain and get several sums and modulate each independently!

Features
Six bands, multiple of the base frequency.
Square wave oscillator with Octaves selector PWM control and sync.
Range control for Tune pot.
Volume CV control and individual output for each band
Cascaded summing outputs.

Teia Synthesizers OpticTone Vactrol Filter & VCA Module
Cat: 937614 Rel: 16 Feb 24 • View all Synth modules

Vactrol filter & VCA module - 10HP.
Notes: The OpticTone is a combination of a 12dB multi-mode Vactrol Filter and a Vactrol Voltage Controlled Amplifier.

It is a completely original circuit inspired by the singular nature of Vactrols and their fluid and natural character.

The Filter section provides the three fundamental filter types: Lowpass, Bandpass and Highpass.

A Resonance knob with voltage control input is available for improved modulation flexibility. The feedback knob interacts with the Resonance path, tempering it from creamy resonance to wacky self-oscillation.

Filter and VCA run in parallel, both are controlled by the Freq/Amp knob and it's associated voltage-control input. The combination of both signals can be crossfaded with a dedicated knob.

The Freq/Amp is also controlled with direct touch control on the panel via the 3 lines below the knob.

The filter frequency control can be inverted by the Inv Freq switch, providing the possibility to change the filter direction. This feature allows the filter to "close" when the VCA is "opening" or the other way around.

The Ping input allows to generate the well known vactrol filter percussive sounds if a gate or trigger signal is provided. The Ping frequency if controlled by the Freq/Amp knob, ranging from low kicks drums to high pitch bongos.

There is also a Drive knob to take care of your saturation needs. The Overdrive range is wide, from soft textural clipping to heavy distortion.

All voltage controlled inputs have an attenuator-inverter knob.

Features:

Vatrol based 12dB multi-mode Voltage Controlled Filter: Lowpass, Bandpass and Highpass.
Vactrol Based Voltage Controlled Amplifier.
Crossfade between VCF and VCA section.
Voltage controlled Resonance.
Ping Input for percussive sounds generation.
Cutoff Frequency polarity inversion switch. Doesn't change VCA polarity
Overdrive and Feedback controls.
Attenuator/inverter knobs on all voltage controlled inputs
Touch control over Frequency and Amplitude.

Dual Juno-inspired oscillator module - 14HP
Notes: A Juno-inspired oscillator module? We're flattered, but credit has to go to Roland for this one. Based on the Juno-106's digitally-controlled analogue oscillators, the Castor & Pollux modernises the 80s design with a built-in LFO and hard sync.

Supplier's Notes:
Twins that dance in and out of phase, never completely together but never fully apart, bound to each other in the infinite universe.

Castor & Pollux is a dual oscillator that echoes back to the legendary Roland Juno but shines with its own unique, massive voice. It contains two digitally-controlled analogue oscillators implemented using a faithfully modernized version of the original Juno 106 design. It builds on the classic '80s sounds of its inspiration by using the second oscillator and internal LFO to layer in thick detuned sounds and harmonically complex hard synced waveforms.

Castor & Pollux II brings a redesigned interface and moves individual waveform outputs to an included expansion. Both versions have the same features and use the same firmware.

AJH Synth/Tone Science Triple Cross XFader Panner Module (silver)
AJH Synth/Tone Science Triple Cross XFader Panner Module (silver) (attenuator/dual/stereo/mixer/panning/utility/VCA synth module)
Cat: 944987 Rel: 20 Oct 23 • View all Synth modules

A crossfader panner module in 14HP
Notes: The Tone Science Triple Cross module is a design collaboration between electronic musician/composer Ian Boddy and AJH Synth.

It features three independant cross fader and panner channels, and it can be used with both audio and CV signals. Each of the channels can be configured in one of four different ways:

1) One In, One out Linear VCA

2) Two in, One out crossfader

3) One in, Two out panner,

4) Two in, Two out cross fader & reversing panner combined.

Audio rate modulation can also be used on the CV inputs to create Ring modulation and Cross modulation type sounds. Each channel has a dedicated Fade control, CV input, and CV Level attenuverter. These can be used together to bias incoming CV signals.

The L1 and L2 outputs from channels 1 and 2 are normalised to channel 3's inputs, which also have their own level controls to balance incoming signals. This allows very interesting, complex fading and panning between four different input sources, to either Mono or Stereo outputs..

The Triple Cross is very versatile, yet relatively simple to understand and use. However, as they say "knowledge is power", so do spend a little time reading about how to configure the channels in the four different modes, and how to combine all three channels together to create a super-powerful Four to Two to One cross fader.
Each of the three channels can be configured in four different ways, and all three can be used simultaneously. They do not all have to be in the same mode, so we could for example use channel 1 as a cross fader, channel 2 as a Panner for completely different signals, and channel 3 as a Linear VCA, again for different signals.

Specifications

Effective CV Range for CV-1, CV-2 and CV-3 is 0 to +5V with attenuverter fully clockwise or 0 to -5V with attenuverter fully anticlockwise.
Maximum permissible CV Range for CV-1, CV-2 and CV-3 is -12 to +12V
IN 1A to IN 3B Input levels -5V to +5V, levels up to +/-10V are possible however some clipping may occur.

Xaoc Devices Drezno II 1989 Binary Conversion Komputor Module
Xaoc Devices Drezno II 1989 Binary Conversion Komputor Module (comparator/CV modulation/distortion/frequency divider/logic/quantizer/sample & hold/waveshaper synth module)
Cat: 945630 Rel: 10 Nov 23 • View all Synth modules

An improved version of the original Drezno module in 12HP.
Notes: Part of Xaoc's Leibniz Binary Subsystem, the updated Drezno ADC/DAC module builds on the original with higher resolution converters, allowing you to use it for pitch quantisation.

Supplier's Notes:
Drezno II is an improved version of the original Drezno module. It is an essential member of the 8-bit Xaoc Devices Leibniz Binary Subsystem. The Leibniz subsystem is a family of modules that operate on 8 binary (two-state, on/off) signals. These signals are arranged as 8 bits of digital data and may represent analogue signals and voltages, or they may be whatever you want them to be (clocks, gates, rhythms, etc.).

Drezno features an ADC (analogue-to-digital-converter) and DAC (digital-to-analogue-converter), allowing it to act as an analog front-end of the system. In other words, Drezno allows one to convert analogue signals and CVs into digital numbers, as well as to obtain analogue signals back from some other digital numbers (or 8 binary signals). Between these two conversions there is a whole universe of digital shenanigans waiting to happen resulting in all kinds of signal transformations and modulations.

Both (ADC and DAC) sections of Drezno can work independently, or they can be linked. Input and output range of analogue signals may be adjusted using Gain and Offset sliders. Individual bit outputs (for the ADC) and inputs (DAC) allow for extensive cross-patching and the creation of complex waveforms and rhythms. A very fast clock (up to 2MHz) at which the conversions are performed may be replaced with any external clock (for each section separately).

Compared to its predecessor, Drezno II uses new converters of much higher resolution which results in much lower noise floor and higher accuracy. The lower bits are much more stable than before. It is easy now to use Drezno for quantizing pitch voltages with accurate results with 128 or 256 semitone steps. Potentiometer ranges are factory calibrated for precise chromatic scale. A new switch on the front panel allows the user to select the calibrated range of 10Vpp or 20Vpp, so that the lowest bit or the second bit correspond to 1 semitone.

ART wavetable dual oscillator mono voice source module - 8HP
Notes: An ART wavetable dual oscillator mono voice source that can be used to build polyphonic patches and multi voice patches. It generates its harmonically rich sound using two 80s vintage D/A converters to feed your filters and effect processors. VORTEX comes loaded with dozens of wavetables, plus additional user wavetables can be loaded from the front panel SD card. A detune knob controls the second VCO and adds effects from deep phasing to a sub octave. The position knob and CV input selects waves in the tables and vibrato from LFOs to create FM. Like other ART sound generators a dedicated Gate output manages the voice envelope or any modulation synced to that voice. VORTEX is a great companion to the analog ATX1 and a must for digital synthesist enthusiasts.

TipTop Audio ATX1 VCO ART Analogue VCO Module
Cat: 947141 Rel: 04 Mar 24 • View all Synth modules

Analogue voltage controlled oscillator module - 8HP
Notes: A classic all analogue saw VCO core with 3 switchable modes, ART, 1V/Oct, LFO and is recommended as the basic building block for ART systems. It is designed for patching analog polyphonic synths from discrete modules or multi-mono patches in ART mode. When using ART the ATX1 takes care of the tuning including accounting for temperature changes. In 1V/Oct mode the ATX1 runs as a standard old school modular VCO. LFO mode drops the frequency range and is great for patching vibrato to other ATX1s among other things. The ATX1 outputs variable waveshapes with manual or CV control. Classic FM, PWM and hard sync are provided. A dedicated Gate Out in ART mode manages the voice envelopes or any modulation synced to that voice. TipTop consider the ATX1 the best sounding analogue VCO they have ever created.

Klavis Grainity Digitally-Controlled Full-Analogue Path Granular & Multi-Mode VCF Module (black)
Cat: 951606 Rel: 15 Jan 24 • View all Synth modules

Digitally-controlled full-analogue path granular and multi-mode VCF module - 10HP.
Notes: Digitally-controlled full-analogue path Granular + Multimode VCF

At any time, the sound remains in the analogue domain and goes through analogue circuits from in to out.

The digital processor does not convert or generate audio signals; it is there to control the analogue circuitry and manage the interface and display.

A characteristically unique take on mixing from Buchla, with six mono inputs and a built-in mic/guitar pre-amp.

Buchla 207t Features

Mixer/preamp module based on Don Buchla's original 207 design

A delay effects pedal
Notes: *** Onyx Edition ***

The ARP-87 is a compact, feature-rich delay, packed with a large pallet of inspirational delay tones. Featuring four main algorithms, digital, analog, lo-fi, and slap back, the ARP-87 can cover some serious ground in the world of echoes. The Digital algorithm boasts pristine, crystal clear repeats great for rhythmic riffs. The Analog setting works well to add warmth and dimension to chords and lines without getting in the way. The Lo-Fi algorithm, with its adjustable frequency range on the repeats, goes from warm, warped, and murky, to strait AM radio. Finally, the Slap setting makes it easy to dial in a great slap back echo perfect for smoking chicken pickin' runs.

With other features like the smart bypass switching, and momentary knob ramp, the ARP-87 provides endless creative opportunities that are waiting to be explored. The X knob changes functions depending on which Algorithm you are using. It adjusts a specific parameter in each algorithm.

In Digital, Analog, and Slap modes, the knob will control modulation depth. In Lo-fi mode, the knob will control Filter width. Note that when changing delay types this loads a whole new algorithm and the tempo must be tapped in again.

Trails Mode

The ARP-87 can be run in trails or no trails mode. In trails mode, when you turn the pedal off, the delay trails die off naturally. In no trails mode, the delay trails are abruptly cut off when you turn the pedal off. To toggle between either mode, hold down the bypass switch for 1 second while applying power to the pedal. Unplug power and repeat to toggle to the other mode.

Momentary Functions

When the switch is in off position, press and hold the Bypass Switch to temporarily activate the effect to add a moment of delay texture. Releasing the switch turns the effect off. When the effect is on, press and hold the bypass switch to momentarily ramp the X parameter to maximum. Releasing the switch sets the X parameter back to the knob location. Press and hold the Tap Switch to temporarily ramp the feedback to maximum.
Release to set the feedback back to the knob location.

The ARP-87 comes in a Frosted Charcoal finish with cream and seafoam ink featuring original artwork by Chris Castro of a lone ship traveling through the ARP-87 Galaxies.

Eons is a five-state fuzz capable of massively thick sounds ready to test the limits of any amp's grill cloth.
Notes: *** Onyx Edition ***

For Eons, man has thought the sound of thunder to be from the heavens above, echoing boastfully over us as we stay safe from its greatness. However, legend tells of a stoic and indomitable beast residing in the highest mountains seen and heard only by the most brash of travelers. With gnarled and twisted horns, this creature emits a sound thicker than Earth's crust to command attention and warn all who stand in his way. This is Eons.

Eons is a five-state fuzz capable of massively thick sounds ready to test the limits of any amp's grill cloth. Use the Voltage (lightning bolt) knob to crank up to 18 volts into the pedal's circuit for massive, open fuzz sounds, or choose to starve it down to 3 volts for spatty, gated fuzz. Experiment with the Voltage and Mode knobs for nearly endless styles of fuzz tones. Find vintage-inspired sounds emanating from the stages of Woodstock to chaotic three-chord punk rock. Eons is ready for a fight.

The Eons features a five-position rotary knob that offers the following clipping configurations. Think of them as different "flavors" of the pedal:
I. Silicon soft clipping traditional fuzz that's well rounded with a huge sound; compressed and smooth.
II. Silicon clipping with an added bass boost that boosts the low end at the beginning of the circuit; compressed and crunchy.III. Germanium soft clipping with a feel of "what if a distortion and fuzz had a kid?"; crunchy and dynamic.
IV. LED clipping diodes with a slight high-end cut; dynamically dark.
V. Hard clipping silicon transistors combined with LED and Silicon soft clipping diodes. The rowdiest of the modes with tons of gain: compressed, loud, and angry.

Specs

The Eons comes in a sandy tan enclosure color with red, cream and black ink. Artwork features a stoic four horned, Markhor goat illustrated by Adam Forster.
9V DC, center negative, 100mA min

A fully analogue, feature-rich chorus/vibrato packed with a wide array of tonal landscapes begging to be explored.
Notes: *** Onyx Edition ***

The Julia is a fully analogue, feature-rich chorus/vibrato packed with a wide array of tonal landscapes begging to be explored. Julia is able to produce mild smooth chorus, to seasick vibrato and everywhere in between. With controls like Lag, Dry-Chorus-Vibrato Blend, and selectable analogue LFO wave shapes, you are able to dial in all types of classic and unique chorus/vibrato sounds not found on traditional chorus pedals.

In 1999, spectrographs picked up an unexplained sound emanating from dark ocean depths. The source of the sound was untraceable. While most scientists attributed it to an iceberg dragging the ocean floor, some sceptics began to understand the true source of the sound. Julia, the water demigoddess. Crying from the deep in a chorus of melancholy hymns, she remains to be uncaught but the pursuit for her is unceasing. Walrus has captured a fraction of her powers in the Julia Analog Chorus/Vibrato.

A stereo chorus/vibrato effects pedal.
Notes: *** Onyx Edition ***

Building off of the lush, tonal landscapes that the Julia Analog Chorus/Vibrato created, Julianna is an all analogue, digital LFO, stereo chorus/vibrato with new expanded features. Julianna is able to produce mild smooth chorus, to seasick vibrato, to everywhere in between.

Familiar controls like Lag, Dry-Chorus-Vibrato Blend, and selectable LFO wave shapes are all still here, but Julianna employs some new tricks: The Secondary LFO speed, modulation drift, tap/expression control and momentary features will have you commanding all new kinds of sounds not found in traditional chorus pedals.

Unlike most other chorus pedals, the Julianna and Julia have a special feature called Lag control. The Lag knob lets you set the centre delay time that the LFO modulates. From smooth and tight modulation at lower settings, to a warbling detune at maximum, the Lag knob adds a new dimension to the traditional chorus/vibrato landscape.

D-C-V KNOB

The DCV knob sets the ratio of dry to wet signal through the mono channel of the Julianna. Traditional mono chorus sounds can be heard with the knob set around noon. Pitch vibrato is found in the full clockwise position. The ground in between offers unique blends of chorus and vibrato not commonly found on other chorus pedals.

When both outputs are connected, set the DCV knob to full counterclockwise to send your dry signal to the mono output and vibrato signal to the stereo output for a traditional stereo chorus sound. Explore other variations by turning the DCV knob up slightly to add some vibrato signal to the dry output changing the stereo image.

An analogue flanger effects pedal.
Notes: *** Onyx Edition ***

Like the Iguana that's malleable to its environment, blending into its surroundings for harmonious balance or standing out with vibrant confidence, the Polychrome Flanger is a uniquely colourful tool for adding modulated textures to songs.

The Polychrome Flanger is a true bypass, all analogue Flanger pulling in familiar layout controls from the Julia and Lillian.
Dial in a wealth of colourful flange with the D-F-V blend knob and the shape and voice switches.
The Shape Switch lets you select from sine, triangle, or random LFO wave to modulate the delay line

The Voice Switch lets you select between two voices for the flanging effect.
In the down position, the flanger is more traditional and full frequency.
In the up position, you get a more complex and notched flange effect with less low end.

Like the other members of the Walrus Audio modulation family, the Polychrome has a blend knob. The D-F-V (Dry, Flange, Vibrato) knob lets you blend the dry and delayed signal from full dry at minimum (no effect), to traditional flange at noon to full pitch vibrato at maximum. Don't sleep on the vibrato sounds in the Polychrome.
Set the D-F-V knob to maximum, feedback to a minimum, and the voice switch up for some unique pitch vibrato.

Top mounted input, output, and power jacks as well as soft switch relay bypassing make the Polychrome fit well on your board and ensure smooth operation for years to come.
