Merging the essence of what made the original a global success with an array of powerful new features, the microKORG 2 once again redefines the landscape of music creation. It maintains the essence that has made its predecessor a mainstay in studios and on stages while introducing innovative, contemporary elements that resonate with today's musicians. The microKORG 2 is not just a new instrument; it's a new chapter in synth history.

It's all about keeping the joy in music making - and the microKORG 2 does just that.

Crafting vocal perfection: the new vocal processor

The original microKORG is renowned for making complex vocal synthesis accessible and fun. Known as the synthesiser with its own mic, it has been the choice for producing unique robotic voices for over two decades - a feat typically reserved for specialized equipment. The true magic of the microKORG has always been in its ability to simplify complex sound engineering. Taking a leap forward, Korg have outfitted the microKORG 2 with a new vocal processor that goes well beyond the beloved classic vocoder effects. Korg are introducing advanced vocal processing technology at your fingertips, including hard-tune pitch correction for creating smooth and polished vocal tracks. Additionally, the new harmonizer feature allows you to layer and pitch-shift your vocals, enriching your music with depth and complexity.
As for effects, the microKORG 2 offers a rich array of options. Layer your vocals with immersive reverb, crisp delay, and a diverse range of sonic textures to fully realise your creative vision. The iconic gooseneck mic, now featuring a stylish metallic neck, is the perfect complement to this powerful vocal processor. Whether you're aiming for rich harmonies or contemporary auto-tuned effects, the microKORG 2's vocal processor is a versatile tool for unleashing your vocal creativity.

Master live performances with loop recording and arpeggiator

Discover a new level of musical creativity with microKORG 2's loop recorder. This feature brings a familiar yet powerful tool for modern musicians into the microKORG world. Ideal for crafting layered backing tracks, the loop recorder allows you to loop segments of music and overlay your own performance, enhancing your creative expression in real-time. While loop recorders are well-known in the music world, their integration into the microKORG 2 opens up new avenues for experimentation and performance, perfectly complementing the synthesiser's robust capabilities.

The loop recorder is designed for simplicity and ease of use, featuring three simple buttons: record, play/stop, and undo/redo. The user interface is streamlined for immediate understanding and use- long-pressing the buttons reveals recording and playback settings, ensuring you're always in control and can focus on your performance.

The microKORG 2 also includes an arpeggiator, perfect for adding rhythmic complexity to your compositions. Activate it with a simple press of one of the eight program number buttons, and watch as it infuses your music with intricate patterns and textures. 37-key 24-voice virtual analogue keyboard synthesiser
Notes: Combining analogue-style sound with digital convenience, the KingKorg Neo is a proper all-rounder for both recording and live performance. Features modelled emulations of classic Korg synth features.

Supplier's Notes:
The KingKORG NEO: a virtual analogue synthesiser that stands out with its analogue-like layout and intuitive, flexible editing. This compact powerhouse features 37 full-size keys and a versatile vocoder, making it perfect for both studio and stage. With our cutting-edge XMT sound engine, it delivers a wide range of classic and futuristic sounds. Designed for the contemporary musician, the KingKORG NEO is the ultimate tool for exploring new soundscapes and pushing musical expression.

KingKORG NEO features our XMT virtual analogue sound engine. XMT stands for eXpanded Modelling Technology and was created to offer an expansive array of sounds while ensuring simplicity in operation.

Gone are the days of laborious oscillator adjustments for sound crafting. The KingKORG NEO streamlines this process with pre-set algorithms. These carefully designed combinations of different oscillator types and quantities empower you to quickly shape rich, stage-ready tones with ease.

Embracing the demand for diverse tonal capabilities, the KingKORG NEO comes loaded with a wide range of oscillator algorithms. From the classic sawtooth and square waves to the more intricate noise patterns typical of analogue synthesizers, and extending to PCM/DWGS, this synthesiser is equipped to cater to an extensive variety of musical needs and preferences.

Crafting character with iconic modelled filters

In the heart of the KingKORG NEO lies its meticulously designed filter section, a cornerstone in defining the synthesiser's unique sonic character. Korg have infused KingKORG NEO with a diverse range of filters, each adding a distinct flavour to your sound creations, an aspect where analogue modelling truly shines.

The KingKORG NEO's filter collection is a treasure trove for sound designers. It encompasses a wide array of essential analogue modelling filter types, enabling you to sculpt sounds with precision and ease. But there's more. Korg have painstakingly modelled filters that echo the iconic analogue monophonic synths of the '70s - the go-to for punchy leads and deep basses. Korg have also captured the essence of polyphonic synths from the vibrant new wave era of the '80s, and the legendary filters from Korg's own MS-20 analogue synth.

One of the most captivating features of these filters is their ability to self-oscillate when you dial up the resonance - a hallmark of classic analogue synthesis. This capability opens up a world of sonic possibilities, from creating ethereal textures to crafting powerful, resonant tones.

Vocoder wizardry

KingKORG NEO synth comes equipped with a balanced XLR input on its front panel, and includes a rugged, high-quality microphone. This setup invites you to dive into the world of vocoding instantly.

At the core of the KingKORG NEO's vocoder is a sophisticated 16-band filter, rivalling dedicated vocoder machines. This powerful feature allows you to craft classic vocoder tones, but that's just the beginning. By shifting the filter frequency with the formant shift function and finely adjusting the level and pan of each band, you open the doors to an array of unique and original sounds. Whether you're aiming for vintage charm or contemporary edge, this vocoder adapts effortlessly to any genre or style.

But there's more - the KingKORG NEO redefines flexibility. Timbre B can ingeniously be used as a modulator, providing an alternative to the traditional microphone input. This allows the vocoder effect to be seamlessly blended with the synth sound, paving the way for limitless sonic exploration.

Moreover, each of the three oscillators, A and B timbres, can be individually selected as a source for the microphone input. This unique feature enables you to synthesize a rich mix of voice and instrument, creating a fusion of timbres that's both innovative and captivating.

Masterful effects

The KingKORG NEO elevates your sound with three master effect slots, each offering six distinct effect types.

The PRE FX slot brings the grit and edge of effects like distortion and amp simulator. MOD FX infuses your tracks with the classic charm of phaser, chorus, and tremolo. For creating expansive atmospheres, the REV/DELAY slot offers ambient effects including hall reverb and modulation delay. Adjusting and selecting these effects is straightforward, thanks to dedicated dials on the front panel for each slot, complemented by FX control knobs for detailed fine-tuning.

Virtual patching

Embrace the spirit of classic synthesisers like the MS-20 with the KingKORG NEO's innovative Virtual Patch system. This intuitive feature brings the flexibility of physically patching synthesizers into the digital age. With six Virtual Patch assignments available for each timbre, you can virtually connect control signals like EG, LFO, or joystick movements to key sound parameters, including pitch and cutoff. This seamless integration allows for intricate modulation and a deeper exploration into sound-shaping, giving your music a new dimension of sonic creativity.

A universe of inspiration

KingKORG NEO's extensive library of 200 stage-ready preset programs is created for the modern music maker. These presets span across eight categories like SYNTH, LEAD, and BASS and offer an intuitive gateway to finding the perfect sound for any scenario.

Step up with arpeggiation

The KingKORG NEO comes equipped with a versatile step arpeggiator, a tool that breathes life into your performances by automatically generating arpeggio phrases based on the chords you play. Tailor your sound even further by selecting from six different arpeggio types. You can specify the duration, interval, and on/off status of each step, opening up a vast array of rhythmic possibilities.

MIDI 2.0

The future of music

MIDI 2.0 is one of the most exciting developments in electronic music production in decades and allows two-way MIDI conversations. Previously, MIDI 1.0 messages went in one direction: from a transmitter to a receiver. MIDI 2.0 is bi-directional and changes MIDI from a monologue to a dialogue.

Thanks to new MIDI-CI (Capability Inquiry) messages, MIDI 2.0 devices can talk to each other, and auto-configure themselves to work together.

Keystage retrieves information such as which Control Change (CC) parameters should be linked and the appropriate names to display for each parameter. This means that Keystage can talk with a wide range of MIDI 2.0 compatible devices and exchange information in both directions. This exciting feature extends not only to software plugins, but also to hardware devices.

MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange is compatible with traditional MIDI DIN cables, allowing Keystage to seamlessly integrate with existing devices. Furthermore, backwards compatibility is not an issue with Keystage: it can still communicate using MIDI 1.0 with devices that do not support MIDI 2.0.

Powerful software suite

Keystage comes bundled with an incredible software set that provides all the tools needed to take your music production to the next level:

Keystage comes bundled with Ableton Live 11 Lite as part of its software suite. Ableton Live 11 Lite is a beginner-friendly version of Live, providing many of the core features to help you kickstart your journey in music creation and performance.

The best of both worlds, combining analogue drum circuits with samples and Korg's Multi Engine. Versatile step sequencing, built-in effects and seamless connectivity.

Supplier's Notes:
The introduction of Drumlogue marks a paradigm shift for drum machines. It combines the rich and raw power of analogue, the flexibility and convenience of digital, and the deep customisation of a unique SDK. A heavy-duty dynamic sequencer, powerful effects, and intuitive controls make Drumlogue a must-have in any setup.

The power of analogue

Drumlogue features completely new analogue circuitry from legendary Korg engineer: Junichi Ikeuchi (ARP 2600 M, MS-20 Mini, ARP Odyssey). The depth and richness of its sound is on a whole new level. New analogue circuits for bass drum, snare drum, low tom and high tom provide a solid foundation, and elevate tracks with harmonic richness and a thick low end.

The versaility of digital

Drumlogue has 7 digital parts: 6 sample-based and 1 Multi Engine based. The sample-based parts can play a wide selection of pre-loaded PCM samples alongside imported user samples. These can be easily loaded into Drumlogue by connecting to a computer via USB and simply dragging and dropping into its main memory.

Endless creative potential

The wildly popular Multi Engine from Minilogue XD is made even more powerful: in addition to Variable Phase Modulation (VPM) and Noise generator engines, the Multi Engine in Drumlogue features a new user slot able to play fully-fledged synth voices - providing vast sonic possibilities never before heard on a drum machine.

Custom Synths

Synth voices in Drumlogue are so much more than static waveforms. Custom synths can be built to not only generate sound, but can also draw on built-in filters, LFOs, MIDI controlled polyphony

Exclusive "Nano" plugin

Korg has collaborated with popular plugin developer "Sinevibes" to create a brand new synth plugin for Drumlogue: Nano. This exclusive plugin explores the power behind the newly expanded Multi Engine and gives an incredible first taste of the platform.

"Nano" is a full-fledged virtual analogue synth with a broad array of features and customisable parameters. The synth engine has dual oscillators with optional ring modulation, a 4-pole state-variable filter with soft clipping distortion, built-in EG and built-in multi-waveform LFO.

Sequencing powerhouse

At the heart of Drumlogue is a flexible, easy-to-use, and extremely powerful 64-step sequencer. This makes it easy to create complex patterns and polyrhythms that elevates the music creation process. Innovative features are available including per-step probability, per-step alternate trigger patterns, per-step micro offsets, per-track groove patterns and much more. With the clear OLED display, it's also easy to follow and edit your sequences visually.

Chain mode makes creating long and interesting patterns simple. In loop mode you can switch between several variations to play sequences in new and interesting ways. The Motion and Accent recording functions are fast and intuitive, and if you want to try new things on your track, the randomisation function is there to help you.

Effects and customisation

Drumlogue has high-quality effects across three categories that can be used simultaneously: delay, reverb and master effects. The send amounts for delay and reverb effects are set independently, with multiple return points also available. Master effects add that final polish to the sound and can be bypassed on a per-part basis, meaning it's possible to send the effect to specific audio parts. A sidechain bus is also available to the master effects section.

Drumlogue has an audio input, so you can process other instruments through Drumlogue's effect chain, making it an ideal companion for your studio setup.

Connectivity

With a wide range of I/O, Drumlogue can be integrated seamlessly with your rig. A USB-A port supports connectivity with USB MIDI class-compliant devices, meaning volumes can be controlled with the faders on a nanoKONTROL 2, or sounds triggered by the pads on a nanoPAD 2.
It almost goes without saying that Drumlogue easily syncs with other gear via the MIDI in/out, sync in/out, or via USB MIDI.

Four individual outputs are available, in addition to headphone and main L/R. Any part can be assigned to any output, allowing for expanded routing versatility with external processing and multi-track integration.

Ease of use

Drumlogue is incredibly easy to use - having been designed with simplicity and accessibility in mind. The most important parameters for the main drum parts have dedicated knobs on the front panel for on-the-fly adjustments, as well as dedicated volume pots for each part to speed up the mixing process.

A wide and clear OLED screen coupled with a simple UI and 4 dedicated encoder knobs makes the navigation process fast and smooth.

Design

Unlike other drum machines, Drumlogue's main panel is slanted. This offers superior ergonomics and visibility, while a brushed aluminium body and wooden side panels add to the premium look and feel.

Korg CA50 Chromatic Tuner Korg CA50 Chromatic Tuner Korg CA50 Chromatic Tuner
Korg CA50 Chromatic Tuner (chromatic tuner)

Portable, pocket-sized, high-precision chromatic tuner
Notes: The CA-50 features high-precision tuning functionality and a slim and compact design. The new CA-50's display is now, even easier to read. Long considered the standard in chromatic tuners, the CA-50 offers simple and intuitive operation and a satisfying tuning experience for every instrumentalist.

The LCD screen of the CA-50 shows a needle-type meter to quickly and accurately show the pitch, and provides a note name indication in the middle of the display. The note name indication is now larger and even easier to read. This ensures simple and smooth operation even for beginners.

The CA-50 features a detection range of A0 (27.50 Hz) to C8 (4186.01 Hz). For wind instruments from piccolo to tuba, or string instruments from violin to contrabass, you can tune band or orchestral instruments of any pitch range. A high-sensitivity mic is built in, allowing the note name to be detected accurately even without a contact mic. By using the separately sold CM-200 contact mic, you can tune with confidence that nearby sounds will not affect the result.

The calibration function supports a variety of concert pitches. It can be adjusted in 1 Hz units in the range 410-480 Hz, allowing flexible tuning that matches the song or key.

The meter scale of the CA-50 provides marks that indicate pure major and minor third intervals. By tuning to these marks you can play beautiful harmonies when you're in an ensemble. This is convenient not only in a brass band or orchestra, but also for vocal or a cappella practice.

The "Sound Out" mode lets you listen to a reference tone emitted by the internal speaker, allowing you to tune by ear. A reference tone in the range of C4 (261.63 Hz) to C5 (523.25 Hz) can be output. You can check the pitch using both eye and ear, allowing you to tune more accurately, and also providing an ideal method of training your sense of pitch.

The CA-50 can be used for approximately 135 hours (when using zinc-carbon batteries). When the remaining battery capacity runs low, the display shows an indicator, letting you know that it's time to replace the batteries.

A new mechanism reduces the possibility that the unit will overturn, making it less likely that the tuner will slide off and fall when placed on a music stand. You'll be able to concentrate on your playing without fearing that the tuner might fall during the performance.

The memory backup function remembers the calibration and sound out mode settings even when the power is turned off. (Settings are initialized when you replace the batteries.) The auto power off function automatically turns off the power when 20 minutes have passed without sound being input.

The folding stand allows the tuner unit to be more stable on its own. The sliding battery cover is designed as a single piece with the unit itself, so there's no worry that the cover might be lost when replacing the batteries.
