Three years after impressing with an ultra-limited debut single that took Cumbia to exciting new places, Southern Californian five-piece Yanga are finally ready to release the follow-up. Names You Can Trust has decided to do this over two concurrently released 7" singles. "Volumen 1" begins with "Encendemos", a suitably driving and psychedelic affair powered forward by layered percussion, delay-laden handclaps and chant-along group vocals. Over on the B-side, "Solo Un Poco" offers a slightly more traditional Colombian style outing blessed with jaunty accordion lines, booming bass and an insatiable Cumbia rhythm. It's not nearly as jaw dropping as the A-side, but it's still pretty darn special.
If you decide an product is not suitable within 14 days of delivery, you can return it to us for a replacement or refund. Returns must be unused and in their original, undamaged packaging.
