Yan Cook is back once again on his own Cooked label with another hefty portion of fulsome techno. This is chest-beating, peak-time stuff to be heard in darkened warehouses amongst a mass of writing and sweaty bodies. There are no frills here, just straight up weapons such as 'Nocturnal' with its lumpy, rolling kicks and wall-rattling chords up top. 'Empty Dancefloors' is a wild acid workout straight from a 90s video game and 'Antimatter' is built on more gigantic, rolling kick drums with industrial effects and fizzing synths fleshing things out before 'Exomoon' closes with a more serene melodic outlook.
