West German duo xPropaganda formed in Dusseldorf's avant-garde and post-punk scenes in the early '80s. While seemingly operating as common form of band - the industrial electropunk duo - they've always managed to upend the trope. 'The Heart Is Strange' is their latest cold factoryscape, scoring just 8 tracks of proto-transhuman gush. Clock choice cuts 'Beauty Is The Truth' and 'No Ordinary Girl' on this sprawling cyborg of an LP.
