Restraint is the name of the game on the first entry into Moral Fiber's vinyl series, which sees Romanian duo Vinyl Speed Adjust show just how little is needed to get the floors of Bucharest moving. "Semne" features a broken beat typical of the sound coming out of this corner of Eastern Europe, cyclical in nature and utterly refined in its pattering delivery. "Light Years" is equally stripped down, although the drums push out from the track with a more angular formation, while "Mind Methods" heads in the opposite direction for an even more minimalistic mantra made of the tiniest percussive sounds. Dilated Pupils does little to fill the track out with a remix that doffs its cap to the wispy quality of its source.
