On the accompanying notes for this one, fresh German label outing Monaberry say they function as both music platform and berry garden ambassadors. They say they don't just release music but do so somehow in a way that helps countless people cultivate their own tomato gardens; while we can't quite adjudicate the veracity of this claim, we can certainly hold its fanciful promise in mind whilst listening to what we're here for, this first V/A release from the imprint. Welcoming Super Flu, Malive, Dancing On Lego and Jessica Brankka to the fold, all four tracks here are impressive, progressive texturisers, intelligently designed for maximum affective tearing-up, and gyrating not long afterwards.
