The origins of this collection of "superlarge disco-hits", and the producer (or producers) behind it, are shrouded in mystery. What we can tell you, though, is that the four scalpel style revisions included are rather good. While most will know the original version of the second track - a Paradise Garage fave conceived down Electric Avenue - it's rarely sounded this heavy or dubbed out. The rest of the material is undeniably obscure in origin, and veers from percussive, jazzy and intergalactic (the quirky space funk of "Track 4"), to celebratory off-kilter disco ("Track 3"), via the sparse, Yellow Magic Orchestra style brilliance of "Track 1". Grown up re-edits for those who prefer killer re-arrangements to cheap contemporary trickery.
