While we'd like to think that SPY Edits is the work of a party-loving CIA field agent, it's actually the work of some experienced producers and re-editors. Both tracks here sound like surefire party-starters; the kind of cuts you sling on the decks to really get the dancers fired up in the closing stages of a particularly sweaty session. On the A-side, the mysterious scalpel fiends deliver a subtly dubbed-out, stripped back deep house interpretation of well-known jazz classic "Fever", wrapping the sultry vocal and famous bassline around a delay-laden groove. On the B-side you'll find "Diamonds", a tastefully tooled-up version of a 1986 fave previously reworked by Todd Terje during his Tangoterje re-edit phase.
